We arrived a little early on Sunday afternoon, interrupting a family gathering yet Gerry greeted us with open arms, smiling and excusing himself for having family over. Gerry and Joann were great hosts, friendly, intelligent, informative bet never intrusive. The Master Suite in which we stayed was very well appointed with a nice ensuite bath. The breakfasts served were not only ample but delicious with a great selection of fruits, yogurt, breads and cereal, all served up in conjunction with a hot dish. We made friends with these fine people and were truly sorry to leave. I would recommend this B&B to everyone.

We spent two nights at Tranquil Moments.

If you want a quiet, get-away-from-it-all break, Tranquil Moments will probably serve very well. Located about a 20 minute drive from  Simcoe, Port Rowan and Turkey Point, it is on a small isolated road surrounded by woods and farmland, where the loudest thing is the birds.
Gerry and Jo-Ann are very friendly and helpful, and full of stories. The house is comfortable, clean and full of character. There are 3 rooms, one with an en suite bathroom and two that share a private bathroom. There is a nice screened-in porch where you can watch the hummingbirds, cardinals and wrens in comfort. Breakfast is good, and they can accommodate special diets (like us vegetarians).

Quiet get-away-from-it-all break in Norfolk County

Outstanding B&B, Gerry and Jo-Anne are an amazing couple, so friendly and helpful.  Their home is stunning and beautiful, the surrounding gardens were full of beautiful birds and butterflies.  We were lucky enough to have the King size bed with adjoining bathroom, the food was delicious and fresh.  We didn't want to leave.

An amazing experience

We stayed for two nights to bike some of the rail trails in the area and also went to Long Point Beach. The B&B is as advertised...in a beautiful shady setting on a country road. We stayed in the King room with the ensuite...it has a TV but we didn't turn it on! Both Joann and Gerry are very welcoming... and provided us with tips on restaurants plus a voucher for 10% off restaurants in the area.
The breakfast both days was excellent.
The secluded location is wonderful but also a slight disadvantage as you have to drive to a restaurant ... there is no place to eat within walking distance. 
We would return.

Tranquil with beautiful garden

Gerry and Joanne are just a wonderful couple and awesome hosts.  It's a breathtaking home.  Thanks so much for letting us stay there and for your great suggestions.  We did go to Simcoe at the fair and Port Dover.  We will definitely be back. Thanks again

Just like home

We visited Gerry and Jo-Anne for the long weekend, they are amazing hosts, the house is super cute, the location is quiet, and breakfast was full of homemade delights.  Having never stayed at a B&B before we did not know what to expect, since arrival we knew we made the right choice.  you will not be disappointed, only sorry to leave,
