A charming home near the waterfront at Digby. Gloria, our hostess, was a lovely lady who went beyond the call of duty to provide us an earlier than usual breakfast on our departure day, as we had to get the hire car back to Halifax prior to our return to the UK.

Thank you Gloria, we hope to see you next time we go to NS to go whale watching.

B and b stays are about the experience....we stayed in the annex; everything was spotless. Got chat with Gloria in the evening and at breakfast; bacon and eggs... Not muc else to say as for value, cleanliness, host...all 5 stars...we will be back.

Gloria is a Gem

Summer's Inn is one of the most singular places we stayed on our Nova Scotia trip. It is very Victorian in style, with four-poster beds and Victorian-style furniture. There is also a newer annex, looking a bit like a motel in style. Our room in the main house was large, with a TV and a generous-sized ensuite. There was no tea or coffee making, but our hostess was always pleased to provide anything we wanted. There are two breakfast rooms, one with a long table to accommodate larger parties, and one with tables for two. The egg and bacon breakfast was extremely tasty and very welcome. The whole atmosphere is one of a happy family, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ideally located for exploring Digby and the local area. Many thanks for a wonderful stay!

A quaint and unusual, and very welcoming guest house.

Very old house, lots of quirky bits, rooms were clean, beds were good, quiet at night and breakfast was filling. All the staff were very helpful and fun. Easy walk to downtown Digby and nice walking around the neighbourhood.

Comfy and convenient

Because of a change in our ferry trip we had to make last minute arrangements for an overnight in Digby. Summer's Country Inn turned out to be a great place to stay.  Our hostess was so welcoming and the accommodations quite comfortable and charming.  I'd absolutely recommend this B & B.

Wonderful B & B in Digby

We spent 2 nights here.  Our room was very clean and a good size.  For breakfast the staff asked each person what they would like - bacon and eggs, toast, fresh fruit and juice and great coffee.  It was a small place so it wasn’t difficult for the staff to accommodate everyone.  I would highly recommend this place.

Loved this place the best

Very clean, quaint, safe place to stay in Digby NS.   We stayed in the Annex which was quiet and private room.  Gloria is kind and witty host.  Delicious home made breakfast.  Would recommend staying here.

Lovely BnB in Digby

Stayed the night before catching the ferry to NB. We were offered a ground floor room in the new annex (as opposed to the main house) and it was convenient and looked nice. BUT the insulation isn't very good, so we heard the people upstairs a lot. Also there's a separate wifi router for the annex and it went out in the rain storm and we had to help reset it...  Otherwise clean, good bed, very nice fresh-cooked breakfast including a delicious, perfectly ripe honeydew melon.

Good place, but avoid the newer addition

Lovely Inn .close to downtown,an Digby ferry to St. John N.B.Great home made Breakfast great host,would highly recommend.Go for a feed of Digby Scallops famous all over the world.The Bay of Fundy & Annapolis Valley region combines the best of land an sea.

Great place to stay

Had a present stay at the Inn.  Gloria was a nice hostess.  She remembered me from our telephone conversations a few months earlier.  We did not have the morning breakfast as we have to get to Briers Island for the Whale tour.   Gloria was up early and asked if she could get us something.   Cannot rate it any higher as we did not have the breakfast.  (our issue)
