Very welcoming environment even when we arrive at almost 9pm. My father in law stayed in a room next to us. Nice solid bed. Quiet area even though it was next to the main road. Close to the Digby ferry. Great restaurants near by. Lovely continental breakfast with lots to choose from. Would stay there again. 

Perfect location and breakfast

We stayed two nights here. You could not ask for better. Clean,spacious and well appointed room. Staff were very warm and friendly. Housekeeper Tanya was super. Breakfast has plenty of variety and fresh. Recommend it highly for a very relaxed and enjoyable stay.

GREAT!

This is a wonderful place to stay! You can park right in front of the room so it's convenient and accessible. It's very close to everything. We found it very clean and comfortable. We sat outside in colourful chairs to catch some warm rays in the evening. Even though it's just off the highway it's not noisy at all. The pillows were great, so soft! So many places we stay have flat or lumpy ones. There is a Chinese restaurant attached to the office which is a great change from seafood. Yummy! You can tell the owner takes great pride in taking care of the motel and property. There are window boxes outside all the rooms with begonias blooming, adding a lovely pop of colour. When we travel this route again, we will definitely be choosing this place to stay.

Great motel!

Surprisingly big clean room, friendly front desk, good location. Much better than those big chain hotels/motels. Big open space and parking. Well worth the $. & minutes to ferry terminal.
The attached (Chinese) restaurant closed every Monday & Tuesday.

Great location. Just far enough out of the hustle & bustle of the town's centre and within walking distance to many close-by amenities. Free parking.

The room we had was a very good size with an extra side table as well as a table and two comfortable tulip style chairs. The small fridge, microwave and coffee maker were nice and very useful added features. Large flat screen TV with satellite channels.
Lovely clean shower / tub and lots of hot water any hour of he day or evening.

A picnic table was outside to enjoy a take-out bite to eat. 'Ed's Take Out', just a few minutes drive down the road, is highly recommended for seafood but there is other fare: there are a few tables to eat in or you can take out.
 
Coastal Inn & Suites (Kingfisher) has an Asian Fusion restaurant on site for lunch and supper. It includes in it's rate a very complete continental breakfast 7:00AM to 10:00AM. Since we have no dietary restrictions the variety of choices was more than adequate. 
FYI: for those with dietary limitations it is good to know that there is a Sobeys just across the road.

From check-in to check-out all of the staff were friendly, helpful and most accommodating to ensure that our stay was a most pleasant and comfortable experience!

Definitely a place to return for the next feed of those "world famous" Digby scallops and of course, any interesting arena event./ dance.

Weekend Getaway

From the time I booked my reservation to checkout was well looked after ! My realtor Lori told me the Digby Inn would be a nice place to stay while I looked for a new home there.  My brother and sister inlaw came with me on this trip.So we had 2 rooms. Both rooms were super clean and well outfitted  I had trouble with my TV (my fault) I walked down to the office and they wrote down how this system works.. Got it to work. next morning when I went down for breakfast they even ask me did my Tv work ok ! The breakfast (cont ) was nice and fresh. The staff was super in telling us where to go and eat for the best East Coast Sea Food. Phone the Inn to get the best rates ! If going to Digby this is a great place to stay 5 stars all around ! :-)

close to everything 1

Standard motel type accomodation with decent size room and easy parking. Staff very helpful - receptionist contacted our whale trip for us. Breakfast fine just fairly basic help yourself with yogurt, toast etc. Very convenient location for Digby neck.

Convenient location for Digby neck whale trip

The room was very clean, the bathroom had many commodities, lovely towels.  The room was quiet, dark, good for resting. Everything worked well. Good location to everything Digby had to offer, lovely staff especially front desk Melissa. Complimentary breakfast was much appreciated.  The only complaint I have was the mattress was on the hard side with coils digging in my sides but over all I would recommend this motel.  Thank you.

Very complimentary.

We stayed only for 1 night. The room was of a good size with coffeemaker, fridge and microwave. The sheets were clean as well as the bathroom. The lady at the reception was welcoming and helpful. Couldn't say the same thing for the one-and-only staff at the adjoining restaurant when we thought we would have our dinner there. The breakfast was average - continental but no fruits.

The only thing I would suggest to the hotel management is to remove or move the reading lamps over the headboard because they were quite low that I had hit my my head on it.

Rm 5 - clean and comfortable

Welcoming staff, complimentary breakfast included which is always a bonus - they informed us what type of breakfast was available which is nice to be informed; it's a hop skip and jump away from a Tim Horton's if you want a hot breakfast.
It's a motel style accommodation but it was very nice, clean and tidy. Usual amenities provided in the room and bathroom which is always appreciated. We were only staying one night but it is in a good location, and would stay here again.
