On the road for so long we were exhausted and needing a clean, quiet place for us and our pooch to sleep. Everywhere else was extorting absurd prices so were also asking for a miracle that the place also be affordable.
This motel was precisely that! Super friendly, dog loving owner who was ever-so-friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

Just what we needed!

Well ... where does one start?
After a long day of riding on our motorcycles we checked into our room only to find that the beds were being passed off as being made. It was obvious from stains on the sheets  that this bed was not made with fresh sheets.
The floor was absolutely filthy and had big chunks of greasy dirt on it.
When I went into the bathroom and wanted to close the door it almost fell off because the hinge on the top was almost completely loose and coming out of the wall. The towel rack which held two sad little towels and two face cloths was coming off the wall. It was ridiculously overpriced for the dump that it is. We requested another room. At least the beds were made with fresh sheets. But the comforter on top had cigarette burns on it.
The bathroom door frame was rotting near the floor because of water damage. I heard a fan but it obviously was behind the ceiling. At one point they must have had some serious water damage on the ceiling. So instead of fixing it they added a double hanging ceiling, and hung the light fixture behind it clearly hiding the fan that was built in the original ceiling. 
And forget about a quiet night sleep. There is a busy train track right behind the motel. And it is busy and loud. Talk about a rude awakening!
I will never ever stay here again and I feel sorry for anybody else that will be staying there as it does look nice on the outside from the road. Please do not stay here. Save your money.

Stay away!!!

First room. Screen on the door that doesn't work, door that doesn't close, beds that were passed off as being made but they were not. Just quickly put back together from the previous night's customers. big oily stain on the comforter, bathroom door coming off the hinges and screws coming out the wall, towel rack falling off, only one face cloth and two towels, no coffee, parking lot is so bad there is a lake in front of the door. Floor was absolutely filthy, and there was some pieces of God knows what left behind on the floor from the previous guests. 

Second room 
Because I demanded another room. Bed looked clean, just in case I want to give them credit. staff has no clue how to clean rooms or make beds. I saw staff coming out of the laundry room with mighty clean sheets bundled up in her arms dragging on the ground as she walked over to the room. This time, same issue with hardly any towels, just a couple cups, two stupid little pouches on the toilet tank, one shampoo one whatever the heck, toilet seat not bolted on the porcelain which goes for a skating session every time you sit on the toilet. Let's not mention how amazingly filthy it is where the toilet seat mounts to the porcelain, and where the toilet mounts to the tile. Oh! And that soft PVC pipe sticking out of the shower wall holding the Chrome fixture that is dingling like a banana gave it a little bit of a chuckle. And the one that takes the cake is the black mold in the bathroom accompanied by most likely what was at one point a leaking ceiling that they covered with a double hanging ceiling and effectively get the fan running sealed between the old one that you can't see and the new one that doesn't provide air for it.

Very easy to see that the owners are not spending a penny here. Very badly kept. Looks nice on the outside but that's where it ends. I came here 3 years ago when it was a different owner I suppose and it was 100% better and a nice place. Not anymore. So if you're going through Dryden Ontario and want to stop at the Timberland motel, because it's the only place available, don't! Sleep on the picnic table instead.

And also the railroad tracks are right behind the bedroom which I didn't know because the train were probably not running at the height of covid in 2020. The whole building shakes. Might be a good thing. Shakes the dried out and lose grime of the furniture and every surface.

Typical roadside family-run motel. Clean, reasonably priced, conveniently sited, good-sized room, fridge, microwave, everything works well. Friendly staff (owners?). No coffee machine in room, but coffee is available in the office.

What a hole , the 80’s called and wants their furniture back.  Rates have increased 80% in a year. No services , coffee etc.  Mattresses made of concrete.  Such an enjoyable stay.  Wouldn’t wish this place on anyone

Over priced, zero service

This had to be one of the smallest motel rooms ever - but it was clean and recently renovated. It had a really great bathroom. It was on the 2nd floor next to the stairs which could be noisy but every one at this motel seems to go to bed early and out early.   My only caveat is the TRAIN noise! The motel is build right in front the train tracks. Whenever a train went by room literally shook. Luckily there were no trains at night

Cute and clean, but....

We stayed overnight at this newly renovated, quiet little motel on our way to eastern Canada.  It was conveniently beside the highway so easy to find.  We were impressed that the floors had been recently redone and the carpet was gone.  Very clean and simple room that was more than adequate for our needs.  Coffee and rolls were provided in the motel lobby in the morning as we headed out.

So so motel. Basically we wanted a place to sleep after being on the road for ten hours and didn’t want to pay $170 for a chain motel. It wasn’t the best we’ve stayed in but it wasn’t the worst. 
It could definitely use some upgrades.

Very freindly, clean place.The location is good,you can walk to resturants located near by. Rooms are clean and maintained.Have been staying here for 17 years. Now have their children working and it is kind of cool to watch them grow up.

Fishing trip

The front desk had the wrong information regarding my reservation. ..and wouldn't honour what I had reserved unless I paid more.  The kicker, if you use the tiny and I mean, tiny kitchenette there's a sign in the room that there's an extra charge!
