The king suite is very spacious! I prefer a longer vanity with space for two people, but it was nice having 1 1/2 baths. Best part was the very comfy mattress-I woke up much less sore than I do at home so I guess a new mattress may be in order. The duvet and sheets were nice too. I bring my own pillow and theirs would have been way too high for me. The room was also dark and quiet-no street noise and minimal hallway noise-we were in corner suite 314. Air conditioning works very well-had to turn ours a bit warmer. The worst part was the toilet ran every minute all night- hubby tried to Jimmy with the tank but no dice. We didn’t bother calling as it was late so we just shut the door- we forgot to mention at check out, so 314’s ensuite potty needs attention. Everything looked very clean. Front desk staff was very friendly on check in. Security staff we saw at the entrance weren’t friendly-it’s always nice to be greeted with a smile or a hello. Another downside was the smoking gauntlet you have to walk thru at the entrance and when waiting for an Uber-seriously gross if you’re not a smoker.

Overall a good stay, would return!

The beds were pee stained room was dirty and even after we asked them to clean the room they just made the bed and emptied the garbage will never stay here again we talked to manager he comped a night only to go back to room after it was supposed cleaned and it was not

Do not stay here

We had the turkey dinner special in the casino restaurant. Great food! Generous portions! It came with cranberry sauce and  delicious stuffing. Turkey portion had thick slices with lots of gravy. 

Service was excellent! We will be back again.

Room was very clean, there was absolutely no smell in the room, halls, elevator or lobby (as there often is with older buildings and smoking customers).   King-size bed was comfortable, small TV (but we did not go to Edmonton to watch TV), shower/ water temperature control worked, room temperature good.   We really have no complaints and would recommend… and will stay there again.

Great stay!

Well I got a suite for my birthday - the heat was stuck on.  The place is rundown and the staff are unprofessional.  

It is sad that their equipment fails and they still make the customor pay the full shot.  No discount, but a free $9 breakfast?  No thanks.

Stay elsewhere trust me

We booked Century Casino and Hotel due to its close proximity to the LRT station and ease of getting to and from downtown for a hockey game. The location was very convenient and worked well!

The room itself was nothing special, clean and the bed was fairly comfortable.  Views were not existent, but that's fine. 

The thermostat seemed to not affect the baseboard heating system in the room and caused the room to be too hot for sleeping most of the night, this was the main issue we had with the room.

Instead of room service the hotel offers take away from the casino's kitchen which was both reasonably priced and of acceptable quality. 

I would recommend staying here for anyone looking for a hotel with easy access to downtown without paying crazy downtown hotel prices.

Hockey Weekend in the Big City

Pretty important detail especially for myself. Called down but instead of being told it was a known problem, which I've deduced by reading reviews on other sites, they blamed my computer instead of something on their end. I've traveled all over Canada & the US with this same computer & never had any problem connecting to Wif so don't tell me it's my computer. It's most likely your modem malfunctioning & overheating which is something that happened in my own house.

Was asked if I wanted to open a "work order" to look into it but i'm only there for the night & it won't be fixed before I turn in for the night so why would I care at that point?  Maybe start the WO yourself since you know it's a problem.

Had a 3rd floor room facing Fort Road & had a few sirens during the night but nothing too serious. Not sure if rooms facing the other way would be better considering the subway system is right there.

Won money in the casino, so that part was good.

Wifi didn't work in the room

The rooms were very modern and clean.  Service was great, and really enjoyed our stay.  We stayed in the queen room, and there was a great tv, and no weird hotel smell lol.  It was so convenient to have the casino right in the hotel.  We will definitely stay again.

Very reasonable pricing for what you get, nice rooms, great staff, eat, drink, gamble and sleep. Everything you need under 1 roof. And very convienent when attending shows at the casino, well deffently be coming back

Great Stay

Went here for the first time. We had a great time but will go again. A couple of things I wished I knew before I went...but it was fine. They only take cash for drinks, you can go to the bar or have a server bring it. We went as a couple and they put another couple with us. I found the tables to be small and too tight to the table beside. The meal was fantastic much better than expected. The show we saw was great.
