My wife and I found the bungalows cute and cozy 
The rooms were clean and organized  Very peaceful considering it’s proximity to the highway We found this to be at the top end of rooms on our two week trip


Very cozy and cute

The unit we occupied was one half of a cabin. The studio- like accommodation had two double beds, couch, TV, no kitchenette, but a bar fridge and a microwave. The bathroom was very well renovated, and everything was very clean. Wi-fi is free and works ok. It is unfortunate that the setting is adjacent to Hwy. 1, which is the busy thoroughfare from the north to the south of Vancouver Island. Traffic noise is incessant during the day, and it only gets quieter beween  midnight and 5AM. The place is not prepared for hot summer days, as there is no air conditioning or fan. For a Motel 6-style accommodation a rate of $149 per night (plus taxes) is excessive and disappointing. There is a fireplace for the cool season, but the use of it is an extra  $15. Think before you book.

Renovated cabins in a noisy location.

We have driven past many times over the years and finally booked a week here.  We found our  bungalow so restful that we tacked on an extra three nights.  Our little kitchen was well equipped and we cooked our own meals.  There are lots of places to visit nearby including the newly opened Skywalk.
The constant hum of traffic didn't disturb us one bit.  It dies down at night and we slept like logs on the comfortable bed.
A warm welcome from Jason and excellent service from him and his staff made this the perfect place to enjoy a change of scenery.

A lovely surprise

Came to Langford to do some work and was accommodated here... the company picks the accommodations I have no choice.... well what a pleasant surprise... a little bit older but that is what you expect in a quaint Bungalow Motel setting... extremely clean inside and very helpful owner... personally I had no problem getting hot water I have seen some complaints here about hot water but you just have to know how to regulate the shower control... beautiful little well-kept bungalows in a beautiful well-kept property.... very friendly hard-working owners.

Well maintained beautiful little bungalows on Vancouver Island

Here's the good - a quaint faery tale village. The room was aesthetically pleasing, tiling in the shower.  The bathroom vanity and closet were cleverly placed, like a puzzle piece.  Here's why we'll never return: 1) For what you get, massively overpriced 2) Poor communication - owner insisted we make international calls to talk with him, unfortunately, the language barrier was a very huge problem, especially by phone, I repeatedly requested he put his speaking points in an email so we could understand what he was communicating.  This was extremely unfortunate because they were extremely nice in person, and face to face, the communication went better (hand signals, reading a person's expression, etc are just better in person) 3)Dangerous access - there is no left turn allowed to get into the hotel - this was not communicated to us.  You are taking your life in your hands as well as breaking the law, though the signage is extremely poor.  We needed to know we should pass the hotel by miles and turn around to make a right turn into the motel.  There were massive road construction crews yelling at us and it was total chaos.  We cannot believe this was not communicated; locals told us this has been the case for a very long time.  4)Tiny overpriced room - Our room was so tiny it can barely accommodate a bed, then they put a 'comfy' chair in the room that touched both the bed and wall, no walk around.  It was extremely tight quarters 4) Itty bitty bathroom, though there was much clever puzzle-like work done to squish everything into the room, the towel bar was way too close to the toilet - I am only 5'5" and hit my head on the way to seat my derriere on the commode every time, unless I remembered the ridiculous proximity, of course, it was even worse for my 6'4" partner.  Our suggestion to the owner is to put the towel bar where the wall hook is moving the hook either to behind the door or across from the commode.  Obviously, the puzzle designer never put it through the reality use test.  Bottom line - they will never have our business again.

Unsafe & poorly marked access, poor communication, over priced, squished

This was really just a stopover as we drove to Victoria. Really delightful gent showed us to our room which was clean, warm and comfortable. Good value and a good place to break the trip. Very picturesque group of rooms a decent amount off the highway so nice and quiet. Wifi. 

Delightful motel. Nice people

A get-away on February 4, 2017
We chose to book this hotel on a night with a fair amount of show and more on the way.
The hotel is a series of small cabins, some duplexes - we were in a duplex.  There was someone on our side but we heard nothing. 
The cabin offered a main room with bed, sofa, closet and tv space, as well as a bathroom.
It is located near the highway and you can hear traffic, though for us it wasn't too loud.  The trees around the cabins are lovely, it is a pleasant space.
The cabin has been predominately renovated and are quite tastefully done. 
The bed was comfy (a little high for short people).  It was cold outside and the floor in the 'living room space' was cold, but the room eventually warmed up.  Bathroom floor was also cold.  Lots of hot water though.  
Nice big flat screen tv, good channel selection.  Coffee maker and coffee provided. 
The sofa was quite uncomfortable (though it only matters if you hang around the room - which we did because of the weather).
We would go up again for another get away.

Renovated and cozy

This place was really great. The cabin was spacious. And when I asked if I could remove my roof from my Jeep, the owner gave me access to a storage room attached to our unit to store it. The room was always kept clean. The price was much more reasonable than anything in the CRD for the time period. And only minutes to Victoria. 
I especially liked that every cabin had its own cable box and WiFi modem. We didn't get dropped off WiFi when you crossed the cabin. We really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay again, and / or recommend it to a friend.

Loved it

We were looking for a place that was pet friendly and on HWY 1. Found this place are we're very happy. Clean, recently updated Bungalow with everything you need to cook supper and breakfast in. Very reasonably priced for the Victoria area. Reception staff were friendly and very helpful.
