I have no complaints. The room was clean, had everything we needed and then some and was nicely renovated. Really enjoyed having a full size fridge & freezer instead of those mini fridges that are to small for anything. Having a microwave was a nice bonus as well. It was surprisingly quiet considering the place was full and lots of traffic. The only thing I'd say is, if it's posted anywhere that there is no dishes, cutlery, etc, I didn't see it so it would have been nice to know. I don't blame them for providing these items as I'm sure guests help themselves and take the items, this would be very costly for the business after awhile. It was super affordable being the lowest in the area by quite a bit. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Great affordable motel!

Very clean (spotless), wonderful staff, and great prices. What more can you ask for?This is where we’ll stay on our next visit. You will not be disappointed. Family atmosphere. A big hello to management and staff.

Loved it.

My wife and I are in Bedford for a brief business trip. We did not require any fancy pools or exercise rooms and so we chose a motel instead of a hotel. We chose the Stardust because of its proximity to our business meeting.

This motel is very conveniently located, freshly renovated, clean, and well appointed.

Front desk staff member Rose is a delight. She is efficient, friendly and helpful.

The location is quiet despite proximity to major a thoroughfare. The room is spotless and has a kitchenette and two desks and three chairs, allowing adequate room for eating and using computers. Bathroom is sparkling and fresh.

There is a TV with a range of smart services and free WIFI.

Rooms can be rented by the day or the week or longer.

I would recommend this motel to anyone coming to HRM who is looking for an economical place to stay.

Great little motel in a good location.

So Glad I found this Motel.
Arrived very late from the Airport, and wanted a place to spend the night
that was kind of close to the Airport (I think its about 1/2 way to Halifax)

Arrived, very friendly reception woman, very kind, and gave me a great room!
She mentioned they just renovated, although my room was upstairs, I loved it!
Nice size room, with big kitchen, and big bathroom, It looked like I may have been the first to use the renovated room, unless they are really good at cleaning. 

Liked the parking lot, the room, the hospitality, cleanliness!

I would not hesitate to stay there again! - and probably will.

Great Place to Crash!

We needed to find a room in Halifax area shortly after Hurricane Dorian damaged a lot infrastructure here.   Hotels were full with local people except a few at $300 and up.   We found this one and didn’t expect too much.  We were wrong.  Our room has been recently updated with a nice kitchenette area the bathroom was also updated. Bed was comfortable. Wifi is very strong.   Very clean and no old musty smell.

Can’t Judge a Book by its Cover

On a recent trip I needed to book a place for an overnight stay; being summer vacation season there was not much available for less than $200; I was very happy with the motel; room was very simple but spacious and comfortable; cost was $88 which is very reasonable; staff were very friendly as well. I highly recommend for those “one nighters”.

Great value!

We had just refused to stay at at B&B where we had reservations (shivers) and were told the town was booked solid.  Comfort Inn gave us the name of this place as having the very last room in town, literally.  They said not to expect much.  I was pleasantly surprised, though the price was $233 CDN.  It was a  suite, with kitchenette and sitting area not just a room.  It looked out on a pretty lake.  It was roomy and clean.  Had strong WiFi and a good TV reception. The bed moved, which was weird, as it was on rollers.  But it was comfortable with good pillows.  There was a tavern across the street for dinner & a Tim Hortons for breakfast. I was satisfied and would stay there again. Night receptionist was very helpful and pleasant.  Morning person was creepy!

Better than we were told to expect.

A nightly stay will cost you about half as much as staying in overpriced downtown Halifax, yet you're only a 20-minute drive away from downtown.  Very good value.  The hotel looks a bit worn on the outside (the Stardust sign might be the original from the 1950's), but our room was newly renovated, spacious, and very clean.  It also included a microwave and full-sized fridge.  All signs point to a hotel that is well managed and well maintained.  I'll certainly stay here again.

This place is golden...

Starting with the inability to divide the bill between two credit cards, the restrictive cancellation policy, late check out and VERY basic room with hardly any amenities this motel is not recommended unless you enjoy being taken advantage of and surviving with only the most basic and minimal bedding and facilities.
Is it not legislated to have emergency plan, escape route and layout plan/map for mustering or indeed escape if or when fire or other dangerous situations arise? Also, is it not procedure to have posted check-out time and other pertinent information? Nothing, no extra blankets, the one on the bed had a sewn on patch on it, no extra pillows, no luggage rack, iron or ironing board. Kitchen - hrmph! dares to be described as a kitchenette! Exactly one microwave, one fridge and one single cup drip through mini coffee machine, (NOT Kuereg or Nespresso even in appearance, not even close)! A plate or two, a mug or cup and the most minimal bit of cutlery would be appreciated but alas- NO, and when requested 2 PLASTIC disposable spoons were grudgingly handed over. For all I know these were once the desk clerks from a brought in work meal to have on break. No kettle, no toaster or hotplate even. Because then some kitchen basics would be needed, like dish detergent, plates, bowls, a cutting board and cutlery, like a knife for spreading.
The miniscule bathroom doesn't even have a towel bar, only one hook and zero counter top space making for uncomfortable bathing and grooming practices most normal people perform.
The motel is not well sign marked and an eagle eye passenger is needed, especially in the dark. Be prepared to turn quickly as there isn't a lot of lead up in any lane to make the turn and it is close to both a 4 directions of traffic traffic light, fire station and bus stops in 2 of those directions of flow of traffic.
The smoking of all types of combustibles must've been so close to the door of the unit because it was clearly smelt, so much so that I truly feared that the deposit against smoking for the room was going to apply although neither of us smoke - anything, ever, at all!

Dares to call itself a kitchenette?

The service was rude and disrespectful. Room was small and bed was hard , would never stay here again. Partying in adjacent room and loud music playing until dawn. Notified front desk but nothing was done. Did not get any sleep with paper thin walls.
