We have an autistic son. We arrived. Excited! At 230 PM... no ac in cabin ! No windows open ? 35° Celsius ! Went to get owner. Brought down a floor model unit that cooled NOTHING!
      ! TOILET WOULDNT FLUSH MOST OF THE TIME EITHER !
   Big drop since last year:(

35 ° celcius.  No ac in unit. Brought on down that didn't work. Toilet wouldn't flush. Not happy.. TV was spotty at bes.

Last stay was great. This stay not so much!! No hot water in cottage and not even a discount for inconvenience. Offered refund IF I packed my kids up and left late at night. Attaching photos of messages exchanged with owner. Doors wouldn’t shut and fire alarm was dying/beeping. Wifi was super shady.

Disappointed.

My friend and I go away ever summer for a girl's weekend. I didn't look for anything fancy, just a place to lay our heads for a couple of nights. From the outside, these cottages look plain, but when you open the door to walk inside, we were very pleased. Everything you need to be self sufficient. A lovely clean kitchen with full size stove and fridge, all the dishes and silverware you will need. Pots and pans, coffee perk , electric kettle. The bathrooms are very spacious, and the cottage is equipped with towels and face cloths. We were in cabin # 8, two bedrooms with queen sized beds in each, and the futon folds down as needed.  Thick and comfortable mattress and clean , clean, clean ! We had a heat pump in this particular cottage, but I noticed that other units had air conditioners. There is a small round pool on the property and some well used picnic tables and childrens slides, etc. Would I recommend these cabins ? Absolutely .

Wonderful Surprise.

We were just there overnite due to us not knowing the area at all and pre-booking.  Turned out it was much further away than we had anticipated, too bad because the cottage was very nice, well appointed and spotlessly clean.  We had even gone out to pick up a few groceries when we realized our predicament.  We called the manager and he was very understanding and only charged us the one nite due.  We will definitely recommend this place in the future.

Short visit but very nice

This place is great, very clean, nice beds, and furniture. The cabin are (or at least) seem to be build very recently, no musky old smells. Stocked kitchen with the essentials, including dish soap. The grounds could be better, a few smaller rocks in the parking areas make for night access to the cabin a little uneasy, but nothing major. We stayed in cabin 8. Kevin was very nice and easy accommodated our 10pm arrival. He had the room open and ready for us, we connected the next day. I will absolutely stay here again. They have an above ground pool, which we didn't use. As well as a great play set for kids. Each cabin also has a Bbq! This is a hidden gem for Annapolis Royal. See you again Kevin. 

Last minute find

Being in touch with Kevin prior, told him that we may be late for check-in. He was completely accommodating. We got to the cottage and loved that it had a beautiful crib for the baby, complete with 2 fitted sheets, some extra blankets, there were lots of towels, facecloths, highchair, etc. Everything that we would for our stay and then some. It was super clean as well! In the morning he was accommodating again with a bit of a late check out so the baby could continue with her a nap. 

My only suggestions/recommendations would be that the queen bed sagged in the middle and that the office is no longer on site. Could be more convenient if it was. But this wouldn't deter me from staying here again! 

Looking forward to coming back next year and spending more time there.

Friendly, Accommodating, & Clean

The cottages are clean and nice, The owner is very helpful and pleasant. The view is beautiful and there is plenty to do in the area. We try to get here at least once a year with the family. I really enjoy that they are also pet friendly.

Nice place

These small cottages are rather crammed together and very poorly signed. Don't trust Sirri to take you the right way, it is far better to travel into Annapolis and then cross the river. Sirri took us off the highway at Bridgetown. The signage for the place is very poor and don't believe the sign that says the little building on the left is the office. They have moved the office down the road. Really! They need to fix this ASAP. But, despite this the cottage was super clean and fairly modern. Nice floors, great bathroom, small and practical. If you had young kids, this would be a lovely place to stay, there is a pool and a nice field situated in the middle. This is not a retreat for anyone who doesn't want to be watched by their neighbour. Close proximity to Annapolis and very reasonable prices. They need to update their BBQ, but other than that, no complaints.

Surprisingly nice, despite the exterior!

The cottage was booked here for one night when we were doing a round of homage in the south of NS. The cottages were located two minutes' drive from Annapolis Royal, just across the river, so there was no difference from the hotels in the city itself in terms of location. The settlement was accompanied by certain overlays: we were on the road all day and didn't check the mail, and we ended up moving from a pre-booked cottage to another.
