Stayed here years ago and from what I remember this accommodation has remained excellent, if not aged even better.
And just remember : this is THE INN ON BAY (STREET)....not on the water. There is some traffic noise on Bay Street but not as much this summer as the road down by THE WHARF is under construction and most of the former through traffic going north has been diverted ....
Everything in the reviews below is totally accurate . Janet prepared breakfast on my Saturday and was a wonderful conversationalist with great suggestions (CURRIE'S MUSIC on the main street is a MUST SEE!!!) Jenn, was wonderful as well, although I did have to leave early Sunday. Both presented a delicious and varied breakfast which started my days off well.
But I just want to revise and add some points to consider for "newbies" and we "oldies". This beautiful property has rooms on the second floor with a staircase so not accessible to mobility challenged clients. There is, however, a unit at the back (The Gateway Suite???) which is for those needing ground-level access. (Best to contact Jenn for complete details...she is VERY communicative!!)
Also at the back is a small private little patio right beside the parking area.
Regarding THE ELMVIEW ROOM: lovely and compact and delicious chocolate coconut nibbles on the night table. A couple of technical problems for me were the very confusing TV system access and the washroom across the hall.
Although modern and beautifully decorated I am not used to walking across the hall to do my chores. Also, the original clawfoot tub is very high and difficult (for myself...and I would suspect other elderly people anyway) to enter and leave. Reserve EARLY if you want your own in-room facilities.
The very comfortable and nicely decorated breakfast areas were pleasant to start the day. Breakfasts were delicious and certainly welcomed with presentations of fruits, yoghurts, egg servings and toasts and English muffins.

Good Things Come in Small Packages!!!!

What a GREAT find!!! We booked two nights in the Muskoka Suite and found it so very elegant and comfortable. High quality sheets, comfortable bed, private bathroom. The room was quite large with a separate sitting room. Breakfast was outstanding, and the owner, Jen, was a gracious and friendly host. We will definitely be BACK next year - or even before then!!!

Elegance and comfort

What a lovely BnB in the heart of Gravenhurst!  We had the Segwun room and it was perfect.  Beautifully decorated, spacious, and comfortable.  Plus Smart TV and all the amenities, and Jen served a delicious waffle breakfast.

There is no personal welcome but that’s not a problem for us and when we met Jen at breakfast the next day she was very friendly, chatty and helpful. The room was satisfactory and the bathroom too. We liked the little light in bathroom which we could leave on at night in order to see where to go. The bed was comfortable and the pillows. Breakfast was fine although we don’t eat much but the fresh fruit salad granola and yoghurt was what we wanted. Parking. I would suggest to Jen that she needs to provide some sort of USB charging facility so that guests aren’t scrabbling around on the floor trying to find a socket. There are both bedside lights and clocks available that have USB ports. You can also buy table based chatting ports for several charges. 

Nice B & B in pretty lakeside town. 

The room is clean, well maintained.  Location is convenient, walking distance to shops, park.  The host Jen is super nice, communicated very well before arrival, check in / out is breeze.  Healthy breakfast with variety is a plus.  Games, TV are good for break time.

Clean, Comfortable Inn, Great Host

We used this lovely Inn as our weekend home to explore the Muskoka area. It was wonderful, clean  and all we needed. The check in was easy and Jen was responsive to booking request & was a lovely host. Parking was convenient and breakfasts were amazing. Everything was fresh made and coffee flowed freely. Thank you for a very enjoyable weekend!

Home base

Stayed for 3 nights while we explored Muskoka region.  Jen was a fantastic host and looked after all of our needs.  She made an amazing breakfast each morning to start the day off right.   We had the Segwun room, very spacious, comfortable bed, could not ask anything more.  Will be back again next year, great location, central to Huntsville, Bracebridge and very reasonably priced.

Beautiful Historic B&B

Really enjoyed a comfortable stay at this Inn. Very clean and classy. We had a separate sitting room with our bedroom. A lovely breakfast was served in a quaint dining room by the front window. Parking was included. Very walkable to other spots we wanted to visit. Easy check in arrangements for late comers. Access to refreshments in the fridge and we were welcomed with yummy homemade chocolate/cocunut(?) cookies.  Crunchy and delicious! Very nice spot with lovely garden views and cozy interior. Wonderful Innkeepers!

Lovely over night stay and breakfast.

Had an absolute wonderful long weekend away.   Jen the owner is so amazing and is very detail and customer oriented.  Nothing slips by her when it comes to her guests having an amazing experience!  Her included breakfasts are made to order and come with a starter of fresh  cut fruit,  yogurt and granola.  After comes the made to order breakfast.   Rooms were extremely clean and bed was high end.   Also can't forget her homemade welcome cookies.   I forgot to ask for the recipe.   Will be back!

AMAZING Weekend Away !!!

We booked the Segwun room last minute for one night when our weekend plans changed and we needed to be in the area earlier than expected. We wish we had found it earlier and were able to stay for our entire trip!! The host Jen was very responsive via phone & text. Instructions for check-in were clear and easy. The home was very cozy and welcoming with everything you would need for your stay. The breakfast in the morning was very good and plentiful! This was my boyfriend's first time staying at a B&B and he loved it!
