We were a group of 5 renting 3 rooms.  The place was spotlessly clean with comfortable beds and a small but pleasant kitchen and living room area.   We all had access to our own outdoor patio.  Good bacon and eggs breakfast.   An easy walk to an excellent restaurant.

Great location

Last min trip to do some hiking with my mother and decided on the guesthouse for its location which is immediately adjacent to Eugenia Falls and entry to the Bruce Trail. 
We arrived a bit before checkin and our room was already ready. Rosanne was pleasant and receptive. We had our own patio with separate entrance to our room. My only con for this spot is the limited common area space and kitchen which can be awkward if more then one group is present at once. 
Nonetheless, the place is well maintained and clean. I would stay again and have already sent a link for this guesthouse to my friends who wish to visit.

Nice weekend getaway location 

This was my second visit to the Guest House at Eugenia Falls.  Rosanne is a wonderful host who accommodated my group's request for an earlier breakfast and what a breakfast it was.  Nutritious, delicious, and generous portions.   The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms clean, and we had access to the kitchenette. Rosanne worked hard to ensure a pleasant stay; and successfully too as we were very comfortable and we very much enjoyed the experience.

Wonderful Stay at Eugenia Falls

Hosts were very helpful, even though we never met them (not a bad thing!).   Great location, with the impressive Eugenia Falls 30-seconds away and a fine dinner experience at The Flying Chestnut (2 minutes walk in opposite direction).

Bedroom was very comfortable, well-decorated.  Common area and kitchenette well-appointed.  Only cautions:  Small/potentially shared bathroom area and, if there are other guests, we found their breakfasting in common area noisy enough to wake us up.

So much to do in the area: hiking Mount Baldy, cycling the Grey Highlands, paddling the Beaver River, touring local area artists and waterfalls, lunching at Kimberly General Store.

Great weekend getaway location

A group of us stayed here in Oct 2018.  We are all experienced travellers who have stayed in many B&Bs throughout Ontario and beyond. We would rate our experience at The Guest House at Eugenia Falls as mediocre - below average.  The best feature of this guest house is its location.  It is close to the Falls, hiking trails and walking distance to a very good restaurant The Flying Chestnut.  In terms of the accommodation, the bedrooms are all a fair size.  All have shared bathrooms.  The place was not especially clean (quite a few dust bunnies and the bathrooms did not feel quite cleaned).  No kleenex or water glasses in the rooms, or any of the extras you see at most guest houses.  The guests have a very limited access in the home.  There is a very small shared space for ALL of the guests to use, with seating for 5 (the B&B appears to be able to accommodate 10+ guests) and a kitchenette.  This shared space is a small, windowless room, where breakfast is also served.  3 of the bedroms are right off the shared space/kitchen, so if you wanted to retire while other guests were still hanging out, it would definitely be quite loud.  Breakfast was very mediocre (canned peaches, cold scrambled eggs and hashbrowns).  The host did not serve guests, but instead just brought food down from her own kitchen upstairs and left it on the table.  Guests are expected to self serve, and make their own coffee, tea, toast, etc.  The host, while pleasant, was visible only when we arrived and when she dropped off breakfast.  Very limited interaction with the guests.  The experience felt very different than our stays at guest houses, where you are actually served breakfast, there is much more space for guests and access to the home, and the host interacts with their guests.  Some members of our group stayed at another B&B down the road: Auberge Gilles.  What a difference!   A lovely bright home, immaculate, a huge sunny welcoming shared space for guests to hang out, and an exceptional breakfast (Gilles is a trained chef) with very high quality ingredients, beautifully prepared and presented.  Gilles was charming, and seems to go out of his way to make guests feel like ... well - guests!  Even has a bottle of wine and wine glasses in each room.  Price was less than what we paid. Very MEDIOCRE - much better option close by

This was our first time at The Guest House at Eugenia Falls and we look forward to our return. Roseanne was very welcoming and accommodating, answering all our questions and taking the time to let us know a little more about the area. Our East Room was very clean with comfortable mattresses and a well appointed washroom. I really liked the private entrance off a lovely, leafy patio surrounded by beautiful gardens. My husband participated in a gravel cycle race, The Eager Beaver, which began in Duntroon. I participated in a glass blowing course just across the road at Infinite Glassworks. We had a wonderful weekend! Thanks so much Roseanne!

A Lovely B&B

This was our second stay at the Eugenia Guest House, and it was still great.  Rosanne is a very friendly hostess, who went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable.  The breakfasts were amazing!  Our room (the East Room, with bunkbeds) was perfect for our three days of hiking on the Bruce Trail.  We cooked our own dinners there - had to be a bit careful because there is no stove, but the toaster oven and microwave worked fine.  I would recommend this spot for anyone hiking the Bruce Trail in the Beaver Valley area - anywhere from maps 23 to 27 is within a half-hour drive. We will be back!
