We stayed one night at the Parkside Inn and we could not fault anything. Our room was of quite a good size and was spotlessly clean. There was free wifi and the car parking was right outside the door.

We thought the breakfast option was a great idea. There was more than enough choice in the fridge and it was great to be able to prepare it when we wanted it and to be able to sit in our pyjamas to eat it.

Washing up a few breakfast dishes was no big deal for us and if we hadn’t wanted to do this, there was only a small charge ($10) for the staff to do it.

We highly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Excellent in every way

This was the best stay yet in our Yukon trip. We’re traveling from Texas and was amazed at the Inn. The breakfast options were great and being able to eat at our discretion was really a big plus. The room seemed like new and was very quiet, even being next to the highway. I would recommend the inn for anyone wishing for a great room with great amenities.

Great Stay on Your Trip

This is BY FAR the BEST place to stay in Haines Junction. The rooms are pristine, clean, quiet (even though conveniently next to the highway junction).  The breakfast choices that are available (made in your room/your way) is a wonderful treat for the morning.  The bed and pillows are clean and comfy and fluffy-warm.  The hosts go out of their way to accommodate any special requests you may have.  This is a modern, yet tasteful space to relax for an evening. Ms. Vicky is wonderful to talk with and the attention to detail from the extra towels, to ultra clean bathroom, kitchen area and great sofa to just relax on is duly noted.  The front deck is my personal favorite, although there is plenty of outside seating available to soak in the wonderous mountain terrain.  The flowers throughout the motel are stunning.  Can't wait to stay here again.

Best place to sat in Haines Junction

The employees were super helpful and came to the rescue when our son's truck had a flat tire. There were no garages open that day but they were able to get us back on the road so that we could make the ferry in Haines. Customer service is top notch and we highly recommend Parkside Inn.

Excellent customer service

This was the best place we stayed during our Alaska trip.  It is a small, 5-unit property, quiet and well-maintained.  The room was very spacious with a queen bed, sofa, dining table and kitchen area.  It was very nicely decorated and very clean.  They had continental breakfast, but a little different.  The room was pre-stocked with all the breakfast items, including raw eggs you could cook how you wanted, milk, juice, yogurt, cereal, bagels and lots of different condiments.  The kitchen area was roomy and well stocked with dishes, utensils, and cookware.  It also had a microwave and coffee maker.  Everything was high quality.  After a long and arduous 12 hour drive on the Alaska Highway, this was a very pleasant surprise.  We would highly recommend this motel and if we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay here again.

Best Stay of our Trip!!

We loved this place so much when we stayed last year that we stayed again this year.  The unit has everything you need to prepare your own meals, yet they provided exactly what we wanted for a great breakfast, such as coffee, eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, milk, bagels, butter, jam, honey - I’m sure I’m missing a few things.  The room layout is super comfortable and the owners are extremely kind and helpful.  There’s a great little supermarket within walking distance down the street.  We can’t wait to stay again and again!!!!

A beautiful and extremely comfortable place to stay while in or passing through Haines Junction!

I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a cleaner room. It was spotless! The bed was super comfortable in the room was very quiet. The views off the porch were lovely. I really appreciated having the stove top and refrigerator because I was early in the year traveling and not much was open for food. I especially appreciated the eggs in the fridge that I was able to cook up in the morning for breakfast! I really hope I get to stay here again.

Great place to stay!

The Parkside Inn in Haines Junction was an absolute delight to stay in. The facility appeared to be updated recently and was and extremely clean. However, the highlights of the stay were in the amenities the owners provided. They had everything we could want and then some…… TV, internet, dish ware of all kinds, coffee maker, assorted breakfast foods (already in the room!), towels, extremely comfortable bed. The list could go on further. 

I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone looking to stay in Haines Junction. It truly felt like an oasis in the middle of our trip from Colorado to Anchorage! 

Oasis in the middle of the Yukon! 

We made a reservation here to spend the night while driving through, and wasn’t expecting much. But I really like this place!  It’s tucked in between a couple other buildings, so there isn’t much room to roam around outside. But what they do have is very orderly and clean. There are tables and chairs, and a nice little deck on the end with comfortable deck chairs to look out over the valley and mountains. Don’t get too excited, there are lots of overhead power lines and houses too. But the mountains are beautiful, you can look right past them. Inside, the rooms are spacious, clean, and modern. Comfortable bed and blankets, nice table, couch. The kitchenette is smartly appointed. Theres a small freezer/fridge with ice and breakfast makings. Raw eggs, muffins, milk, juice, butter. There’s a hot plate to cook on, and all the pots, dishes, knives, plates you need. There is a dish strainer, dish soap, and sponge to clean up.  Bathroom was big and very clean.  There isn’t a manager on site, they leave you instructions on where your room is, and have a call-out box on the wall (they must live close by). Which I think is a good business decision.  I really like what the owners have done here!  If I were to open a motel, this is exactly how I would do it.  Walls are thin, but I love this place and what they did.  Highly recommended!!!

Great place to spend the night

New building, comfortable bed, sofa, bathroom great, kitchen wonderful with a make it yourself breakfast (cereal, eggs, juice, eggs, English muffin, milk, coffee). Good tv, limited wifi but this is common in Haines J. Nice common deck.

Why fabulous? Because u can see the owner cares, room organized with quality items in the rooms! I hope to get back again, u should stay here!
