We stayed here back in August of 2023 and the experience then was okay and everything was clean. This time we booked for a two night stay and the first night was a little rough as there was constant banging in the hallway from other guests opening and slamming doors and at 630am the next morning, someone slammed into our inside door waking us up. The bed had no direct center support so you sank towards the middle of the bed, making it very difficult to sleep for two people. The next night, we noticed stains all over the sheets, duvet and bed spread and noticed the tub was also not clean. Went to take a shower and had no hot water. Will definitely not be re-booking a stay here again in the future.

Book Someplace Else If You Can

Dead bed bugs on mattress, stained comforter&sheets, blood on mattress and pillows. Bad cigarette smell. I did not want my child & dog in that room! Do not recommend at all! He offered us a new room which was a heck of a lot better but the room we had first was unacceptable .

This classic motel was clean and quiet. It was easy to find as it has great red and blue lights around the building. 
My friend and I each had our own room and we stayed for 2 nights. Each room had a microwave and a quiet fridge.  The coffee machine used ground coffee in pods which are like teabags, very easy to use and delicious.
It was nice to have the shampoo available.
The location is very good with the racetrack right across the street and the lots of shopping and restaurants in the vicinity.
The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. A good choice. Thank you.

Clean with good amenities

I've stayed at this hotel several times over the last 2-3 years. Check-in has always been good and so has the staff. The place is ok the side facing the mall is certainly more trashy where I stayed this time in room 19 and they seem to have long-stayed guests and garbage all around the hotel rooms on this side all honesty no good vibe but never had a problem with my stay until this past weekend. I had room booked for 2 nights although I checked out after 1 night at 6 pm the following day on Sunday, Aug 14th, 2022. Monday eve I get a call from the guy that checked me in around 8 pm this is 26 hours after I checked out on Sunday he was polite and all and wanted to know if there was a tv in my room and there was but apparently it is missing. I checked out around 6pm Sunday and put the keys on their desk as they have a box outside to put keys but it's always open and never locked. (They have cameras so I'm sure they can check this) Apparently, the maid goes into the room Monday not sure what time but this is several hours after I left and reported the tv is missing. These are the words from the owner to who I spoke tonight because they went ahead and charged my card $339 for the tv without looking at the camera Monday the guy I spoke to told me not to worry and at no time did anyone say my card will be charged. This hotel has accused me of theft and charged my card without looking at the cameras and doing an investatgation. Their locks are regular door handle locks you only can use a deadbolt from inside so while rooms are empty there not secure. Read their reviews. She only thanks the people that leave great reviews and no comments on any others but you'll see there's a problem with their keys/staff/clients living there. I'm taken away as being a regular they have done this without telling me. It's the owner I spoke with tonight and she's someone who shouldn't be running a business. Unprofessional all around 100%. If you have to stay at this hotel take pictures when arriving and when leaving there is something fishy about this. Stay away!!!!!!!! Even if they make things right which they will have to as the cameras will prove I did not remove any stupid crappy little tv worth $100 if that.
Personally, I think it's an inside job but that's my gut feeling.

Unauthorized charge to my credit card

Well dont waste your time here. Terrible accomodations. It was dirty and looked like they were monthly rentals. First time I stayed it seemed updated somewhat and ok for cleanliness but this time they put me on other side of motel and it looked completely ghetto!

Dont waste your money

Travellers Inn, Hanover was very accommodating, with awesome customer service and comfortable room. Great location, about a minute from anywhere you beed to be in Hanover. Fridge, tv, bed and clean bathroom. All you need. Would definitely stay again!

Awesome Service in Hanover

They put me in a room where the interior door to the hallway had no lock and wouldn't stay closed so I had to barrack myself in.  The mirror in the bathroom was dirty and the linens thread bear and stained.  The desk and AC unit had paint splatter all over them.. The new floors were nice but sticky.

Doors did't lock

Not at all as advertised. Not clean and microwave not usable. TV was not easy to use and cable not functioning consistently. 
Speaking with ownership was not productive. Not supportive or friendly. 
This was supposed to be a quick getaway but was well below expectations. 

Not as advertised

We did a quick visit to the Travellers inn last week because I had to work at a facility up there. 

we had our pets with us and we were trying to book the best possible room since I had to cancel my vacation for this job.

we ended up in a room with two double beds and a chair.

the room was freezing when we got there, they had just turned the heat on when we arrived.

the room was very small, not much room for 3 dogs.

the room was not super clean but it was ok since I was with my dogs.

the fridge temp was not adjustable which was a pain when you need to keep insulin in the fridge but it can't freeze. the fridge at the minimum was still freezing everything in the top 10 inches of the fridge. I did not complained s I didn't want to change room.

the beds were pretty comfortable, we slept pretty good. 

if you ever have to stay there with a pet, the only grass you can find near by is near the front of the hotel so try to get a room near the front.

overall it was a good stay and would return if I need to go back there for work

quick visit in Hanover for work

I had a laugh at the front door at the sign which read NO SMOKING MARIJUANA. I was told they have had a lot of great comments about it
I was met by a young lady with a great smile and personality. This is the perfect way to enter a business. She told me about all the renovations they were doing
The rooms were a typical motel room with 2 queen beds and a work area. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable
If I had a complaint it needs a light over the work area and the heating is noisy 
It is also located across the road from the casino and race track

I will be going there again
