Wonderful place to stay. Barb is just an awesome inspiring lady.
King room out the back with the private deck is just great. We sat out on a cool evening with the beautiful scenery of her property. We came back inside to a toasty warm, homey nicely decorated room with a electric wood stove. Was a nice touch. Would recommend this to family and friends every day.

Awesome, Awesome B&B

From the moment we arrived to the time when we left, the owner of the B&B was charming, pleasant and delightful.  She tried to be sure that we were always comfortable and was helpful whenever she could.  The rooms were comfortable and clean. Each room had their own bathroom and they were very clean.  Plenty of towels for the two of us.  One night we even enjoyed the hot tub.  The breakfasts were satisfying and we enjoyed chatting with our host every morning.  We will not hesitate to return again if available because all the positive reviews may prevent us from being able to book here.  This place is a diamond.

Charming, Inviting, Pleasant and Delightful. Five Stars.

Barb is a very good hostess with a lot of heart. The accommodation is lovingly decorated. For each room there is a private bathroom. The accommodation is, however, a little far from the village. There you can enjoy the peace and fuel. A hot tab that you can use quickly warms up at cooler temperatures. The included breakfast is rich and delicious. The guests sit at a common table. Quick contact is made and you feel like you are in a small family. We would stay there again.

Pure nature

Really nice hostess, nice accommodation and very good breakfast.  We went with a family of 4 and had a great stay. Beds were nice as were the washrooms. Barb was very friendly and accommodating.  Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Excellent B&B

We very much enjoyed our stay at Country Charm.  Barb is very helpful and hospitable.  We had the new king sized room at the back and very much enjoyed sitting outside on the private deck overlooking the lovely garden.  The location is a little outside the town up a hill (on Mountain St. which is very aptly named!) so it was very quiet at night. The breakfast was very good. The only downside is that the wi-fi is a little erratic, which is a function of the location and seems to be a problem all over Haliburton.  Very highly recommended!

Outstanding B&B!

I stayed here for one week while taking an art course at the college and enjoyed every moment of it......met some lovely people and our hostess was very accommodating. She is very sociable and always ready to help..she even drove me to the college on my first morning...my car got stuck!!!!.....so she called CAA and looked after everything...  . Breakfasts were top notch and she makes the best muffins........I would highly recommend that you put Country Charm at the top of your list for places to stay in Haliburton it is quiet and restful, beautiful gardens surround the house just the place for quiet time.  Hope to stay there again next year........
