First visit to this hotel. Friendly staff, informative, courteous. Room clean, quiet, comfortable as expected. AC worked great. Zero complaints! Washroom was clean and everything worked. Lots of clean towels, soaps and stuff. Mini fridge and microwave as most have these days. We would stay here again, price was best in town as a comparable.

Great Dependable Accomodations

Good property with slightly old but decently maintained rooms. Wifi was slightly spotty at times but ok. Great work with the breakfast bar, which was better than most Econo Lodge properties even if not necessarily the best food. Front desk staff were friendly and I appreciated the effort to provide a decent environment with COVID. Only issue was the loud A/C unit in the room but this is common at this chain. Would stay here again if in the area.

Good experience

We stayed 2 nights, we had several rooms, and everyone was pleased with the great staff and the affordable price.
The beds were comfortable and the rooms were very clean.
i would highly recommend staying here and thanks to Wil and his staff for making this trip much better for our families.

Excellent staff/ nice comfortable room

Very accommodating management above our expectation. We had a few hick ups with the room but it was rectified  to our satisfaction. Thanks management & staff! It was a wonderful trip we will return. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

First class management and front dest staff.

We spent one night in Econo Lodge & Suites, Hinton. My families and  I have a very good experience with this hotel. We were using CHOICE website to make four nights reservation for this hotel. We changed  our travelling schedule on January. However, there is something wrong happened in CHOICE system and these four nights reservation still not cancelled. When we arrived Hinton and this problem still not be fixed. We called custom service line and still can not be corrected. We asked for Econo Lodge & Suites manager, he is very kindly and friendly to listen our problem. We feel so comfortable. With his assistant, this problem has been fixed. We would like to thank his help and we recommend this hotel to whom would be like to visit Jasper National Park.
You always need someone to help you to fix any surprise in your trip. We find someone in here. 

我們這次前往賈斯伯國家公園的旅程中，發生了一個狀況，導致我們旅程的前半段忐忑不安。我們透過CHOICE連鎖飯店的官網預訂Econo Lodge & Suites旅店共4晚，然而，後來計畫變更，我們只打算住一晚，並在一月再官網上取消，但可能官網系統發生錯誤，在系統內仍然保存我們預定4晚的紀錄，這導致我們在旅行的前幾天一直擔心，而且我們致電服務電話，均得到負面的回應。所幸後來飯店的經理，傾聽我們的問題，並安慰我們，然後協助處理訂房的問題，經過他妥善的處理後，所有的問聽均獲得解決，而且也一掃我們的陰霾，讓我們之後的旅行都非常開心。因此，透過這向大家推薦這間飯店，性價比高，且離賈斯伯國家公園僅70公里，自駕往返也方便，但是更重要的是這裡的經理，非常友善，我和我的家人都推薦這間飯店。

Very Friendly People

Spent an overnight with friends. At $166 / night was a good price. Friends wanting to join later found prices a lot higher and used other options in town. Hotel right on the main drag.  Room was clean, bed was comfy. Wifi worked well in the room. TV and phone did not work.  Lots of free parking. Some food options in the area including a restaurant in the building; may have to drive to get other supper options as mostly fast food within walking distance. 
Staff were friendly and very patient with some of my travel mates. Breakfast was pre-made omelets and sausage in addition to usual cereals, yogurt, break, and fruit. Had juices, coffee, and tea as options (black tea would be a nice addition).  
Great stay; thanks staff.

Ok place to stay

Stayed for one night on our way to Jasper.   The hotel was quick and easy and quick to check in. They are on the hwy but the road noise was not an issue. They have a window AC which was a bit loud but worked well.   They do provide a basic breakfast which was enough and good.   The only thing I thought was strange was on the outside door stated masks need to be worn which is ok but the staff at the front desk did not wear one.   Room was clean an staff friendly.  It I. Basic hotel at a fair price, I will stay here again in the future.

Econo Lodge hotel for family trip

Despite booking in February for a stay in August we could not find any affordable hotel in Jasper. So we looked up Hinton which is at a reasonable driving distance from Jasper. If you are looking for a clean, quiet and reasonably price hotel this is it. The staff is very courteous and they also have breakfast included.

Clean and economical

Have stayed in few other Econolodge.  By far this is the best.  The staff is very professional and really helpful.  Since they cater to overflow guests from Jasper, its an expensive place.

Pleasantly surprised...

Honestly the room was pretty much fine. No big complaints with anything once I got everything upstairs. The problems I have are with the facilities. I’m on a motorcycle with a lot of heavy luggage (camping gear, tools, oil, water, etc.) that I can’t leave on the bike overnight. My room was on the third floor, almost to the end of the hall. The elevator doesn’t work, which means the bell cart is useless, so I had to cart 80-100 pounds of gear up 2 flights of stairs and down the hall. I also planned to do laundry while here, but the laundry facilities are out of order too. Fix those issues, and it would be a fine place to stay. As is, I’d recommend calling before you book to see if the elevator is fixed or if you can have a first floor room held for you.

The only room issue was that the AC is tiny and doesn’t seem to be making a dent in cooling the room after running on max for well over an hour, but I understand that it’s a pretty short window when that matters this far north.
