A really great experience!  What a breathtaking view!  Unique and beautiful log building with indoor and outdoor spaces for dining. The food was incredible and the staff a delight.  Full service bar.  We didn’t have a room, only enjoyed the dining and grounds. What a lovely evening there - fine dining with my sweetheart ❤️

Gorgeous venue, excellent food

I stayed two nights in this beautiful resort. The views are stunning and the food was amazing. You can’t beat the sunsets from the deck. We loved that we could order a bagged lunch to go. I can’t wait to book again. 

A hidden gem!

We received a gift certificate from my wifes friends to spend a weekend here and we took this chance to get away together.  What wonderful people at the lodge, super friendly and engaging in conversation.  Maria, Lette, Kayla and Andre  (hope we got the spelling right)  Thank you for all the laughs and super fun evening.   We both think the food is the best in all the peace region. The room we had was fantastic for our visit ..  and pictures we took :)  The whole property is exceptional.  We definitely will come back even though we are locals to the area.   Hanging out in the evening with other guests and staff was an absolute highlight !

My husband and I spent three nights at this beautiful resort in August.  Our only mistake was confusing it with Williston Lake Lodge in Mackenzie - don't make that same mistake!  They are polar opposites.
Our large suite was on the second floor with a balcony that overlooked beautiful Williston Lake reservoir.  The meals were beyond delicious.  Barbara, one of the owners, is an incredible chef and we looked forward each evening to a drink at the bar, a delicious dinner, followed by coffee and dessert on the deck overlooking the resort.  The rest of the staff were incredibly interesting to speak with, polite and attentive to our every need.
Apparently, they no longer regularly offer a lot of the activities listed on the website, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, highly recommend it and will definitely return - even if it's just for dinner.

Amazing stay - just not long enough

Barb and Harry are the most wonderful people you will ever meet, they are so friendly and accommodating. The staff they hire are always just the same ever so wonderful. The views are amazing, the food is amazing, the rooms are amazing, this place is just AMAZING!!

Gem in the Peace Valley

This beautiful resort exceed my expectations. The bedrooms, common area and the restaurant are really cleans and well maintained. The staff is really helpful and nice all the time. You must try the apfelstrudel or the venice dream as a dessert. So delicious!!! The view from the deck is so beautiful, perfect to see the sunset while drinking a good Caeser drink! ;)

Beautiful place and excellent restaurant!

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary we had seen some good reviews on TripAdvisor and decided to try it out.  Well worth the adventure it’s about 10 minutes north of Hudson to help close to the Bennett damn basically right on Williston lake they also have a campsite that they own that is close by.  It is a complete timber frame launch with beautiful character all of the rooms are quite spacious and you get a little fridge in them this is not a luxury hotel but it was nice.  We stayed on the main floor which was awesome because they had a walk out to the deck this is a great big deck you can drink your own beer or eat your own food in front of your room if you want to go on the main deck in front of the lobby or restaurant area you have to purchase drinks and food there which is no problem because they make excellent drinks and the food is awesome.  A lovely lady who is swiss owns the resort with her husband, And the other staff members were very pleasant everyone makes you feel at home here.  They have a few dogs some puppies some Older and they were so awesome to have around.  The lodge has a community feel and not really a typical hotel feel there is an upstairs and the big TV he can go and lounge at downstairs there is a games room with a pool table and if you work out equipment pieces on the main floor you can sit and have a meal or Sit at the bar or there are some couches with some board games.  The food was really good I really enjoyed my omelette which they made with fresh eggs from their chickens.  If you want there is a free continental breakfast basically some cold cereal bread for toast and hard-boiled eggs pretty tasty actually.  

Hidden Gem!

A little piece of heaven right in our back yard so to speak! The owners Barb and Harry are such super hosts. From the minute we arrived we felt completely at home. The staff “Crystal & Ona” are such sweet young ladies ready to help you at any time.
The lodge is an original “Timber Kings” home. The ambiance of the lodge is something you need to experience for yourself. 
The views of the mountains and Williston lake are amazing. 
Barb is a superb cook, every meal had such great flavours. It was very nice to taste a few traditional Swiss meals, were they ever good!
We were wishing we had just one more day. We will definitely be making another reservation in the not too distant future.

41st Anniversary weekend

Me and my boyfriend went here for a 2 night stay, it was absolutely beautiful, the girls working there were super friendly and very happy, the dogs there were also nice, kept to themselves for the most part.
We did partake in horse back riding, it was nice but it is thru the bush. Just a heads up. I wasn’t really sure what to expect but it was a nice ride. 
Will for sure be going back there. 

Such a great time!

I stayed at the lodge while working in the area on and off for a total of about three weeks. while being they the hospitality was awesome! the lodge itself if a masterpiece, the view from the lodge and from most rooms was spectacular! Rooms where of good size and beds were comfortable for a much needed rest at the end of the day. The food during our stay was excellent, starting with breakfast in the morning ranging from your typical complimentary breakfast, to fresh omelets, bacon and hash browns. Everyday for lunches the girls made two big sandwiches for us that was plenty enough to last throughout the day. At the end of the day our suppers would consist of either a salad or soup to start. Then followed by the main course which was truly amazing every night! you had the option for supper to either have whatever they made that day, or to order from their menu. My coworkers and myself just took what ever was made that day as we enjoyed the element of surprise! The two owners and the two girls were always really kind and friendly to us and were there for our every need. There were 4 well behaved dogs and two cats that were usually in the lodge that were always looking for a scratch. I truly really enjoyed my stay at the lodge and would highly recommend it to anyone. It would be nice to return to the lodge on my own time to truly take in the lodges experience and what it has to offer!
