My husband and I just came back from staying in Emilyville Inn.  I received a call before check in time informing me that room had to switched to African room due to my allergies.to feathers.   Inn keeper wias not in so only coffee, yogurt and toast is avaliable for breakfast.   The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.  Large screen TV in bedroom and in common room.  My husband pointed out cameras are everywhere except in room.

Long weekend getaway

Excellent stay, the house was lovely, we had a great room and fabulous breakfast, oh and the host was very nice too. The location was just perfect, parking easy and there are some very nice walks along the canal and river to work off those wonderful breakfasts. I think that sums it up 👌

Just wonderful.

The location is great and in proximity to many restaurants and local attractions.
However, very poor bed and breakfast accommodation. We booked the honeymoon suite which I believed was one of their most decent rooms. Upon arrival the pillow cases had hair all over them which was very visible so not sure how they were missed, the jet tube was dirty, not sure if it was cleaned and my partner stepped on a pointed nail that was pointing out of the floor. The handle on the bathroom door was broken because three of the srews were missing.We were very disappointed with the accommodation cleanliness and quality for what we paid for the two nights. The host was very helpful and breakfast was okay.We were also disappointed because they advertised that there is an outdoor hot tube which was not the case and we booked it over all the other accommodations in the area due to the tub which would have enhanced our stay.. Yet they did not inform us prior or update their website. The price did not worth it for the stay overall. They whole experience was not we had expected with the accommodation.

We always enjoy our stay here! It is a comfortable clean place to stay. Our hostess is very friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect for a walk around the river or downtown. There is a chocolate factory in town and a cheese factory and creamery not far away. I highly recommend Emilyville Inn.

Great B&B. Beautiful rooms, great atmosphere. Garden is very rustic, green, lots of trees and flowers. River is just across the road. Breakfast was very delicious. The host was wonderful.

It was a cute rustic house, pretty old but well furnished. Lovely host, there is a hot tub - the traffic can be a little loud at night depending, I think, on which room(s) you rent.

Okay B &B

Really enjoyed our stay here over the Easter long weekend.   The breakfast was so good and big we didn’t have to buy lunch!   It is a great location easy walking to many restaurants, ferris park and the suspension bridge and locks.   The building is old and floors and doors creak the room was clean as was the dining area.  We where able to put personal items in the fridge in the shared kitchen that was handy.  Kim was a great hostess gave us restaurant recommendations and places to see and things to do around town.   We would stay here again if we go back to Campbellford.

Lovely little B&B

The home is beautiful inside and they are working on the outside.  It was quite and bring a senior to the home  was easy with ramp to the main level. Breakfast was what I requested. Only complaint was the coffee. 
And if you like walking, you cross the street and walk the canal.  AND the park is right there, and town is a two minute walk.

Great place near Island park residence

We were initially going to come early December, but had to reschedule.  Host Kimberley was super-accommodating, and after yet another re-schedule, we ended up coming for New Year's Eve.  We were the only guests, which allowed us to have a quick peak at all the rooms. The Inn is a beautiful Victorian Home, furnished with antiques, yet with a comfortable casual feel to it.  We had access to the kitchen which was convenient to put our ice and Champagne to chill.  The house was impeccably clean.  All the rooms are lovely, with updated and sparkling clean bathrooms.  They are not huge: this is in the old Inn style! The twin room on the main floor has access to the main floor bathroom, but they have to step out of the room to do so.  Our room was the Cannonball room, I had selected it because of the King-Size bed.  We were not disappointed: while the room is a bit "tight", the bed was incredibly comfortable.  The location is fantastic with access to walking trail, and only 5 minutes from anywhere downtown Campbellford. Because of the weather, we could not do as much walking as we would have liked, but we still had a great time, and easily walked to and back from our dinner reservation at a local fine food restaurant.  We were able to relax, and watch TV in the main room during late evening, and the free WIFI worked great. The traffic died down, and it was very quiet for sleeping.  A delicious, generous breakfast which included fresh fruits, omelette, toasts and bacon, was served at our own chosen time of 8 AM; Kimberley was a most gracious hostess.  We surely hope to come back!  Reason for one star down: the communal balcony was a little bit run down, and the hot tub definitely out of commission. This area should perhaps be a bit re-vamped, and the hot tub aspect deleted from the description. (Not that we cared - I am not a big fan of hot tubs!)

Lovely Inn, great service, great location!

We booked the Honeymoon/Master Suite; which turned out to be a very small room with jacuzzi jets in a regular sized bathtub. The bathroom door didn’t clasp. The room had s door to a communal balcony, with what looked like a hot tub that wasn’t functional. The owner was not friendly and the breakfast was not good. The highlight of our stay was eating at Capers; which is a fabulous pub style restaurant located 5 minute walk from B&B.

Wouldn’t recommend

This delightful spot on the Trent in Campbellford was a great place for us and 4 other couples - all attending a wedding. Comfortable beds, good showers and a fantastic farm breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, toast coffee and tea. Kimberley and her dad were very friendly and accommodating. There is good parking and a good sized outdoor deck on the second floor - with a hot tub. After the wedding a few of us gathered in the living room before bed-very comfortable.

Victorian gem

Our stay at this inn was pleasant.  It rates as average in our mind.  The inn was clean and nicely appointed with antique furniture.  Our room was quite large with a nice en-suite bath.  The bed was comfortable.  Just outside of our room was an entrance to the patio and hot tub.  Luckily there were only four guests that night we were there or it could have been very noisy around the hot tub.  Breakfast was O.K.  The main issue in this inn is the poor soundproofing between rooms.  We could hear other guests in the next room.  The outside noise is also quite high as the inn is located on a very busy highway.  An advantage of the inn is that it is within walking distance of downtown, a nice trail along the waterway and close to restaurants.  All in all this inn is a budget accommodation in a very pretty town.

Good location

Just spent the weekend at a lovely B&B in Campbellford - The Emilyville Inn".  The place is in an old home on the main road.  rooms were very comfortable and the Inn Keeper was very pleasant.  We will be returning to this B&B.
