The village inn is clean, comfortable and the owners were very friendly.  Not only did we enjoy our stay but I left my electronics bag behind.  The owner called me as soon as he saw it and offered to ship it back to me.  I would definitely stay here again.

Clean and comfortable

This is the best place to stay between the Sue and Sudbury, the restaurant was not open due to Covid 19, but the owners had a BBQ in the parking lot that was free to use, the beds were very comfortable, the room was very clean and well setup with everything you need, the owners were very friendly and helpful,

Best hotel we have seen

This is one of the best places to stop between the Sault and Sudbury.  They have worked hard on making it comfortable year round.  I have slept well here.  I appreciate the fact that the parking lot is easy to use, near the room, even when pulling a trailer. I have found the owner to be friendly, accommodating, and the place is clean.  It is important to support small business owners in this difficult summer. Long may they prosper.

Crossed this country back and forth staying in motels and this was by far the best one I encountered on my way. 

Great room: so spacious, clean, well decorated and well appointed with everything you need. Bathroom looked new. Bed and mattress were so comfortable. 

Great location: just a little over an hour drive from Sault-Sainte-Marie, directly on Highway 17 but access to the rooms is from an inside corridor so no noise from the street. Was very quiet. Love this countryside area of the Canadian Shield. 

Great quality for price ratio. 

Very nice owner who deserves the business. 

So far all these reasons, I would stay here again without hesitation. 

Just great! 

This was my favourite motel. Owners were renovating while we stayed there and hope to see the finish in the near future. Room was immaculate. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was clean and roomy. Reasonably priced. It was like staying in a chain hotel. 

Best Hotel of our trip !

I stayed at this hotel by the highway and had a great experience. The owners were really friendly and welcoming.

The rooms were clean and quiet, even though it’s close to the road. I slept well, had a hot shower.  The rooms also had a full sized fridge, kettle, iron - everything we needed!

If you’re looking for a good place to rest while traveling, this hotel is a great option. The owners make sure you feel comfortable. I highly recommend it!

Great place to break up the drive!

We have visited this area before and this time we tried this motel. Older place but very clean good sized room. The owners were very friendly and any problem that came up they were right there to help. Their restaurant isn’t open anymore as costs to buy supplies has almost tripled so they decided to not be open anymore. But they told us about a very good Chinese/Canadian food restaurant. Next time we are up that way we will stay here again.

Family visit

Spent 1 night in a very comfortable room. It was disappointing that the restaurant was not open but WTH. The only beef was the water pressure. To shower, you almost had to continually turn around under the miserable trickle that emerged from the shower head. Hope they can fix this.

Clean, well-maintained

Have stayed here for a few years and every time we come back there are more improvements  made.The staff make us very welcome and very accommodating.Glad for the restaurant attached to motel.Every thing is clean and they check to see if everything is ok.We are very satisfied.Thanks for all your care. Yearly visit.

Would never stay here again. During rain our room leaked from the ceiling. After traveling all day we just wanted to take a shower and relax. Our evening was disturbed by the necessity of having owner come in to mop up all the water, move the bed (we helped) and place towels and bucket under the leak. Then the tv wouldn’t work, manager back again to fix that. Very little water pressure for shower. Our whole evening was anything but restful. Asked for a little compensation when checking out after paying $140. Git yelled at and told I was the nastiest woman ever and a shame for my country, USA. He then proceeded to yell at me in another language. Eventually he threw a $20 Canadian bill at me.
