I booked this stay from a Google search a month ahead of time. It was confirmed. The front desk called me about  8 PM. She rudely told me check in cut off was 9 PM. I was about 90 min away. Very rude.

Think Twice Before Staying Here

If I could give lower, I would.  Arrived to an unshovelled property. Slipped and fell, left side all sprained. Emailed to complain and received a response of 'sorry that happened to you' from the GENERAL MANAGER. completely RIDICULOUS. They are lucky nothing was broken.  I spent more time in emerg than the room.

Now for the room. No heat. Doors have gaps so air goes through them. Floors are ice cold. Bathroom, was gross. Dust everywhere, dust on the ceiling.  Walls are thin so you can hear everything.

My kid actually asked if we could just stay in the car instead.

Horrible stay

we have left the hotel after 15 minutes. They didn’t know we were coming. And the room isn’t clean.  there were pieces of food on the stove and in the fridge. The pool was empty. The towel have not been cleaned before our arrival.

Had made a long term reservation for a trade school program for one of their kitchen units for 5 weeks I start school in 2 weeks they just cancelled on me!
They don't answer their phone and are awful.
The front desk never answers!  They don't answer email! They give you a reservation and then turn around and cancel it!

My husband and I went to this hotel to check in looking forward to a nice pool deck, and views of Kamloops city and the river. 
Upon arrival, we found one entire wing boarded up due to what looked like a past fire.

The wing we were given  room #433 in,  also had boarded up rooms and we were told by the staff on duty they did not know why. 

The key we were provided did not open the door to room 433 and the clerk was only able to open it with the master key, and unable to provide us with a key of our own for this room if we had stayed as he told us he did not know where the keys were.

The check in clerk was in training with no one available to help him. 
 
There was a marijuana plant growing in front of this room; the pool was full of broken bottles and other garbage. The lot was unkept.

We felt unsafe to stay and requested a refund as we had unfortunately paid in advance of arrival based on the lovely pictures on Booking.com,  and had checked in already. 

The clerk stated he did not know how to refund us and attempted to reach his manager. We were told by this clerk within 20 minutes of his contacting the manager by phone (I believe) that he would be issuing a refund and we could leave. He was not able to provide us with anything in writing as he stated he did not know how to do so. He told us that he would contact us by phone if there were any issues regarding refund.

To this date, Aug 30/21, there is no refund in site.

We have attempted repeatedly to reach the manager, Charlene G., of the Hospitality Inn without success. The phone # of 1-250-374-4164 will get you through to the hotel desk which is intermittently answered; the 1-778-538-1963 number for this hotel is no longer in service, and the manager's cell # will not take messages as the box is full and she never answers it.

I have managed to speak with several individuals at the Hospitality Inn's front desk with whom I have left several messages, and have obtained Charlene's cell # from them.

I have discovered, after several attempts  and at all hours that the mailbox for this cell # is full and I am unable to leave message for her. She did return one of my calls, after I called the hotel asking that she call me back, and she left a message on my phone asking for me to call the hotel or herself with the information regarding method of payment, the booking reference # and the credit card used, and she stated a refund will be forthcoming. I called the hotel, left all this information with the front desk, and still do not see a refund coming through. 

The premise was dilapidated, grounds dirty, room questionable for safety as it was above a burned out unground level after they had had a fire. It also appears that this one wing is being used as temporary housing or long term rentals.

At this point in time, I would not recommend anyone book a stay here!

Advertisement for hotel misleading

We made a reservation for a room with a view. We checked in to the room and there were fans. The AC didn't work. A toothbrush was left on the top of the wardrobe cupboard. Not ours. So much for cleaning standards during COVID. The desk clerk stated there was nothing she could do as there were no other rooms available. A pitcher was available under the toilet. That was to be used to fill up the toilet with water so it would flush as it was broken. The washroom floor was flooded in the middle of the night. Forty some degree weather. Changed rooms the next morning. Noticed that the plate for the light switch in the bathroom was hot to the touch. Fire hazard. About 9:30 that night the power in the room went off. Phoned the emergency number as there is a desk clerk only until 9:00 at night. The person said that she would reset the power in our room.  Couldn't be reset for some reason. She gave us another room. Oh only the third room for a five night stay. Moved our luggage at 10:30 at night. It appears that the hotel had a fire before. The pool has not worked in over three years. The ice machine didn't work. Seems like the other part of the hotel where they moved us was “temporary housing” weekly or monthly. Beer drinking, drugs, and partying until early in the morning. Don't let the price fool you. You get what you pay for. Would you stay here? Will never ever go to the Hospitality Inn again! Good luck if you do. May your stay be a lot better than ours was.

Never Again!

Booked for my travelling niece. Confirmed late check-in.
When she arrived, all was closed. No answer to phones or knocking on residence door. Shameful.
Thankfully, she was able to get a room at the Best Western down the road.

Left my 18 yr old niece stranded

The quality is of a budget mom and pop motel.  Please note that there is no laundry or coin op available contrary to advertized.  Fridge, microwave and coffee maker is in the room.  Beautiful view out of rear window.  Front desk person was very nice.

Very basic place

This is below average even by Motel Standards. Linens did not look clean to be honest. Bedding too wasn't that comfortable. Only positive is the view from the room we got which opened to a nice green area with Kamloops view. 

Swimming Pool did not function due to covid but same is not mentioned on the hotel website so that was a downer as many properties now have pool with restrictions of people at a time. 

Location is close to dinning option and motel has ample parking though its open and at your own risk types. 

I wouldn't recommend this hotel as they have not maintained standards even for low price they charge.

Its below average even by Motel Standards. Only price is good and Kamloops view

It was good experience. Hospitality which they treated was good and also suitable for the buisness trip and the time keep up process was really good which is must needed for buisness trip.very good experience
