We booked the Chesterfield Inn because it was a short walk from the hospital where my husband had some tests scheduled. a second night. We chose the Bellchester room. It was large, quiet, nicely furnished, comfortable king sized bed, with an ensuite including large shower and separate soaker tub. Lovely deck in a private, quiet backyard.  Jake and Joy were great hosts and the breakfasts were gourmet fare. We booked directly with them and got a reduced medical rate. The rooms are all on the main floor and the family has the top floor.  Will definitely check here before we book anywhere else on our future visits to the city.

Peaceful retreat

We had the pleasure of staying here for two nights during a 14-night road trip.  The house was built by the owners in the last 10 years or so but you would think it had been built at the turn of the last century; it is very impressive.  We arrived just before official check in time and sat on the porch then Jake appeared from the other house at the front and welcomed us and took us in to meet his wife Joy, who showed us around.  Our room (the Dorchester) was on the ground floor and was large with a queen bed and a single bed, it was bright with a large bathroom.  The mattress was a bit soft for our liking but we still got a decent sleep. They have a bunch of local info and although there are no refrigerators in the rooms, you can use the large fridge in the kitchen/dining area where breakfast is served, where you can also help yourself to tea, coffee and chilled water.  The aircon is centrally controlled throughout the house, which did not cause us any issues.  The house is located around a 3-minute drive from downtown Kelowna or a 15-minute walk, which we did a couple of times.  Other than the lake front around 1/2 mile away and a convenience store around the same, there is nothing in the immediate vicinity, it being a residential neighbourhood, so it is pretty quite as the house is set well back from the road and sheltered by Jake and Joy's house to the front. Breakfast is served communally round a large table and is daily changing, which is very nice.  Jake and Joy strive to provide interesting local dishes, using local products, which was a real highlight; on the first morning we had a type of crustless quiche with sausages, which was delicious and on the second morning we had fresh peaches on waffles with custard, apparently this is a Sunday special and it too was delicious.  Cereals, juice, yoghurts are also available along with toast and fresh fruit.  All in all we had an excellent stay and would happily return if in Kelowna again.

A great stay

We have travelled the world and stayed in accommodation from Penthouse Suites to Bamboo Huts. Never have we stayed somewhere so clean, welcoming and comfortable.
From the moment we pulled up in the drive to the morning we drove away, we were treated like favoured guests.
The rooms are spotless - and I mean spotless. The decor is old world chic  and designed to give a relaxing ambience.
Breakfast was tailor made to our liking and started our day off well.
Joy and Jake made us feel at home, made great recommendations for evening meal, walks and onward travel.
We were really knocked over by the experience.

Impressive!!

The Chesterfield Inn is a hidden treasure. It is tucked away off Pandosy within walking distance to the Hospital and close to the beach and Downtown. The place has old world charm with beautiful antiques, expensive bed linens and the most heavenly beds. The room I stayed had an old fashion tub 🛀 which I loved.  The host couple are amazing. Breakfast was a culinary treat, waffles with homemade vanilla custard and fruit, eggs, sausage and the best coffee ever. If you like Morning Glory Muffins then this is your place. They were the best homemade muffins I have ever tasted. You will not find  a cleaner more comfortable place to stay with such warm hospitality. I highly recommend this B and B you will not be disappointed!!!

5 Star Comfort

Tagged along on my husband's business trip in the Kelowna area and decided on a B&B. As it turned out, this choice was an exceptional one. The relaxing, tastefully decorated room, the "above and beyond" breakfast and the friendly and helpful hosts made us decide to definitely come again. Thank you!

Highly recommend!

We had the pleasure of staying at the Chesterfield Bed and Breakfast over the Thanksgiving weekend.   We found the location very central and easy to walk downtown or into the Mission area.  Our room was excellent - comfortable bed, large bathroom, and quiet even though there were other guests at the B&B that weekend.  The daily breakfasts exceeded our expectations and even though we golfed most days, the hearty breakfast kept us going until suppertime.  Joy and Jake were great hosts, we enjoyed our morning visits with them, learning about their families and about Kelowna.  We would definitely recommend the Chesterfield B&B to anyone traveling to Kelowna for holidays or even if you need to be close to the hospital.  We hope to return to this B&B in the future.

Great place, great people

We were delighted with our spacious , immaculate, and extremely comfortable room . The hosts are amazing friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area ! This is a truly lovely B&B experience and we would love to return someday.

Love this place

We've spent two nights in this fantastic B&B. Everything has been very simple since arrival and the owners are lovely, adapting to your requests and trying to help you with everything you need.The breakfasts are amazing, Sunday is the day of waffles, caseros and nothing heavy.If you want to be close to the center but in a very quiet area, this is your choice.

Clean, comfortable and well maintained.

We stayed for 2 nights in this beautiful and comfortable B&B. Since I am a wheelchair user, we had the Dorchester room. The photos show that this is ideal for wheelchair users. There is plenty of space, holds, a passing shower and a sink in the very nice bathroom. The two breakfasts were also very delicious! The location of the B&B is very good, as you can get a lot done in a short time by wheelchair. Since there is a construction site in front of the house, however, the road with the roller over the gutter is difficult. The guests are very nice and stand by and with advice and advice. Many thanks for this wonderful stay!

Disabled accessible and wonderful!

We spent two nights at the Chesterfield Inn and were very excited. Great individual rooms, very comfortable. You can tell when you want to have breakfast and get everything fresh the next morning. It's a typical B&B atmosphere, you sit down at breakfast with other guests, exchange and get great tips.
