A great experience here with a number of activities and game room. We love it and will be back.... 
There is a pool and hot tub on the 3rd floor open space as well as Gym room. 

They have a couple of stores around and restaurants including coffee shop.

Great experience 

Came in today with my granddaughter to take her to the steam room. I was immediately told by several somewhat irritated people in the gym about how the steam room had been down since late November/Early December and that the manager was aware. Appalled at how horrible this building looks since last time I visited. It’s aged 20 years, no maintenance being done. Not handicap accessible at all. Not even buttons to open doors when you carry groceries.

Awful. Burn the place or hire new managers. This is neglect.

Terrible dirty place. Clearly the building manager does nothing to maintain. Terrible layout that makes you walk ages just to get to an elevator. Dust and dirty everywhere in the carpets and cracks and weeds all over the outdoor areas. Gym isn’t well maintained either, steam room did not work either while we stayed

We unfortunately had to cancel our stay because of a wild fire sweeping through Kelowna Aug 2023. We contacted the propery manager and said that we understood that normally this was non-refundable but is there a chance you could refund a portion. She said because of the extreme nature of the situation she would refund the payment 100% - which she did.

Unit #350 
I lived at this resort previously. So returning to the area, we rented through Expedia. We were  not informed at any time that we had not rented our week from the resort itself. And that made alot of confusion disorganization and hiccups. Which makes me sad as I love the resort.

First they provided no checkin info . It's a secure building so this is a necessity. We even had Expedia try calling them several times. The number provided was never answered and no voice mail.  After googling and calling the rental office we were  informed that they had not rented to us... and we had already paid for a week in advance. 
They were cordial but had no idea how to help. 
So, we landed in Kelowna after 8 hours with no way to checkin. Concerning.

Eventually someone texted  stating theyd been calling for days.  Hmm... call logs no calls. On our end.  Odd.

We finally are allowed to checkin after waiting 6 hours for them to clean the room. Again left waiting in lobby. 

Finally we are in. Rooms are fine.  A bit dated. But resort is good. TV didnt work. Door electronic  lock with no instructions was difficult. DVD player didn't work .Couldn't use the ac as dusty vents triggered asthma.  Bbq  dirty and ignitor broken. Patio full of spider webs. Last day someone was parked in our underground spot. We tried to get assistance instead we had to park 2 blocks away in a tow away zone. Overnight with our rental car

I'd stay here again but never rent off expedia..they should have to declare it's a sub renter  and not resort direct. Not impressed with them at all.

This resort is in a great location and has all the amenities you could need away from home - pool, gym, parkade etc. It is across the street from the lake and within easy walking distance to several beaches, restaurants and shops. 
We have stayed in several different units with a few different owners. Our latest stay was in #327 with Locations Kelowna as the host. I would not recommend this property management company to anyone. The unit was cheaply renovated, but looks good in the photos. It clearly not cleaned - the floors were filthy dirty, painters tape still on the wall, some furniture broken or in bad shape, kitchen counter had food stuck on top, oven and stove were dirty etc. The sheets for the pull out couch were difficult to find, but we eventually located in a box on top of the closet still in the package. Since we arrived late there was no time to wash until the next day. Ever slept on unwashed, new sheets? Not good. 
We reached out to the Locations Kelowna but did not receive any response during or after our trip. For the price we paid, this unit was not worth it and the lack of communication from Locations Kelowna was very disappointing. 

Nice resort, but avoid Locations Kelowna property management group.

This was our first visit to Kelowna.  We traveled with friends as a group of 4 for a wedding.  
Pros: location was great, depending on your room, your balcony can have a fantastic view. Size was good. Cleanliness was ok. Access to the gym and pool. Underground parking. 

Cons: we only had 1 key for the 4 of us which made it extremely difficult,  since one of us was the photographer for the wedding and another the hairstylist.  We had to plan around that 1 key. No TV in the living area,  just in 1 of the bedrooms.  We're asked to do laundry before leaving and also, no hairblower to dry your hair.

First visit to Kelowna 

Booked a condo for the month of May 2022. Common areas were well kept but the condo we rented was grimy and dirty. It likely hadn't had a good cleaning in years. We went out and got our own cleaning supplies and spent a full day cleaning. It took  a full 18 Wetmop pads to remove the accumulated grime from the tile floors.

I want to commend Brian of Playa del Sol. We have all read of the troubles travellers have had when pandemic restrictions have caused cancellations . Brian was excellent and understanding when the Province declared non essential travel to Kelowna should be avoided. He immediately understood and  took care without issue. Thankyou, we will be visiting when all this is over.

Understanding during COVID restrictions

The Playa del Sol Resort was in a perfect location for our family holiday. The complex has a very nice pool, a parkade, work out room and beautiful patios off the units. We were close to the beaches, close to restaurants, shops and other activities. We rented unit 346 which is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean.
