This was a Home away from Home with great accommodations in a quiet neighborhood, a friendly host and great conversation while enjoying the backyard deck and garden. Every morning we enjoyed a new home cooked breakfast that was a great start to our day. Found the location excellent as it is centralized for visiting Kelowna, West Kelowna or West Bank. Highly recommend for anyone looking to stay at a B&B in the Kelowna area.

Excellent Accommodation and a Great Experience

I wasn't going to write a review but I felt I needed to.  I am an avid traveller and as such an avid reviewer.  I can't really comment on the overall B&B as we never made it past the front door.  We were travelling with my father who is ill with cancer and needed to rest earlier than the advertised check in time.  We thought we would try to check in only to be met with a very unfriendly owner who said "I guess you can come in".  This did not make for a welcoming feeling at all, which was contrary to the reviews I had read.  Very disappointing.  We left thinking we would come back at check in time but really did not have a good feeling so decided to find somewhere else to stay and tried to get in touch with the owner to let her know we would not be coming back.  Wasn't able to get in touch with her.  Later in the evening I received a text asking where we were.  I explained that we wouldn't be back and why.  In fairness she did offer a different night but as we were just passing through - that wasn't helpful.  I was really surprised she charged the full amount given the circumstances.  So my review is really a warning to other guests - heed the check-in time!!!

Beware of Check In Times

The host is very nice. The place is very dated. My room was spacious but the decor could have been updated as it's a trip to the early 90s. Two working g to channels, fake plant, used toiletries in the bathroom and old sponges. My main issue was lack if privacy since I could hear the owner watching TV in the leaving room just outside of my bedroom. It was implied that the rate $162 per night was for the room and additional person - my boyfriend would be extra $50!. I thought that the room was not worth more than $130 fro two and asking $210 is a joke, sorry

Not my style

We really enjoed our stay in Morning Glory
the room was clean and cofmfortable, 
the breakfast was very tasty 
and it was a pleasure meeting with the hostess Betty.
the locaiton was also good, in the quite wesetern side of Kelowna

it's a great place!

Betty is a wonderful hostess. Her hospitality is so welcoming you feel like family. This was our first stay ever at a B&B. We will definitely take them into consideration more often after this great experience. Loved hearing her stories over her delicious, homemade breakfasts. She has her own garden & greenhouse and uses their bounty of goodness to create fresh, delicious food.  She even sent us on our way with "morning glory" muffins & upside down apricot cake to enjoy during the  next leg of our trip. If you're in the area, give Morning Glory a try!

Home away from home

Betty was so welcoming and the cold drink on arrival was much appreciated! Breakfasts were amazing and she let me park my motorcycle in the garage overnight. There are only 3 BMW Cycle certified service shops in BC that I know about so I would recommend staying at this convenient location to any other out of town riders looking for service in kelowna! Very nice!

This nice little place is in a quiet place with a nice owner. She was very welcoming and made a delicious breakfast complete with homemade jam. We highly recommend this place if you enjoy homy bed and breakfast. Please remember she only takes cash for payment
