The place was very clean, but in our opinion the photos and write up are deceptive.  This is very basic accommodation.  The room's are basement level and quite cramped with few amenities (no closet, no dresser, no chair or table.  No breakfast, not even a granola bar or bottled water. If you are older, you are not within walking distance of very much.  If it is important to you, make sure you ask for a room with its own bathroom.  Only a tiny icebox.  An older couple would not be super comfortable here.

It is a nice but very basic place in a well maintained neighborhood in Kelowna. Very close to downtown. Old property, but renovated and clean. Total match of the price to what to expect. Parking is right by the property which was very convenient. Donna, the manager, was very very helpful with everything we needed. We just slept there, spending all days outside exploring Kelowna. Stayed at King room with king bed, TV, small fridge and bathroom next door. It was super quiet so we could have nice rest overnight. Place is airconditioned.

Kelowna Visit Summer 2022

Very nice place to stay. Well located. Very quiet and safe.  We were a bit worried about the bathroom being out of the room but it actualy was a good thing. Less noise.  Having something to boil water for herbal tea would have been great before going to bed.  We would go back without hesitation. The host was very nice and took good care of us. Thank you.

Great stay

We loved our stay at Abbae’s! It was super comfortable and had everything we needed. Donna replied very quickly to everything we needed and had great suggestions of what to do in the area. Would stay there again for sure!

Great hospitality!

Many thanks for your kindness and the lovely room.  It was hard to find a nice place to lay my head at a reasonable price near downtown Kelowna during COVID.  Really enjoyed it and I know I can always recommend friends to stay at Abbae's.  The room was clean, comfortable, safe, friendly and quiet.

Top marks and lovely host

Donna went above and beyond after I had to stay longer following a surgery at the hospital. She accommodated me in any way she could even during the current Covid pandemic. Rooms are very comfortable and the garden is very nice and peaceful.

Hostess went above and beyond!

All though this is a good central location, we were not pleased at all with the stay. The house is not well maintained, and the owners were very rude. We were also charged more then the original price, which was completely ridiculous. The lady would not give us our privacy which we were also promised. I would not recommend staying here.

Avoid at all cost

Very disappointing Having booked through Expedia this accommodation was cancelled by the owners with no explanation. We were very much looking forward to our trip to Kelowna. If you want to avoid being let down on your holiday then please avoid this place and book elsewhere. I even emailed the property to ask why and received no response. We have had no other concerns with our bookings throughout British Columbia and Alberta

Stayed for 2 nights with Donna in her lovely b&b. Our room was very comfortable and clean and Donna was so helpful! Great quiet location with only 10mins walk to downtown, Donna was always on hand to offer local advice and had everything we needed - a fantastic host. Would highly recommend staying here and if we’re back in the area again we certainly will!
