The manager went out of his way to provide us with a room that met our needs. Parking was convenient and room was quiet.  Conveniently located for the main highway.  Easy access to retail and restaurants.

Helpful manager

We had a good stay at this motel.  It was convenient to town, clean and reasonably priced.  The staff were friendly and it was easy to access our room for my mother who uses a walker. We would definitely stay there again. BTW, there are no coloured stones beaches in the area.

Nice clean little motel

Recently stayed at the Maple Leaf Inn for my sons U18 baseball tournament. 
Location is great. Check in was fast/easy. Owner/Manager (Gil) was very friendly & helpful. Even bought us a fire pit & firewood to enjoy in the evenings. Outdoor chairs, picnic tables available. 
Room was clean & had everything you needed including a microwave and fridge. 
Bed was very comfortable & clean, lots of pillows. Free wi-fi available. Lots of towels available. Would definitely recommend staying here with a large group.

Boys U18 baseball tournament stay

Stayed a night in mid-August and was very happy.  The motel is older, but rooms were clean and bed was comfortable.  Rupi on the front desk was helpful providing information on good restaurants (and the not so good) and a young lady gave me great directions when I checked out to a nearby park where I could spend some time reading until I was to meet friends.  A good spot for a very reasonable price.

Nice Small Motel

This is not a very fancy motel as you think but very spacious & close to everything. The lady at the desk, Rupi was very nice & informative. We booked a room with the kitchenette. The room was old & outdate but ok.

Good for your budge & just overnight stay.

Basic motel with everything you need. Coffee maker, TV, A/C, 4pc bath, pool. Not fancy, but clean. I recommend for the business traveler as I got a great nights sleep. I will stay there again without hesitation. Better than a lot of motels in this price range.

Clean and comfortable

I spent 2 nights at this motel. It has all the basics, and everything worked in my room. It is easy access to everything in the area. The motel needs updating as other reviewers state. I found my room comfortable and the internet worked just fine. Staff was very friendly. Rates were good. Clean.

Basics...

This is an older motel with the bare necessities, but if you're looking for something within walking distance to the downtown area, this is available. The pillows and towels are thin and nothing appears to have been upgraded in 30 years, but it was clean they offer suites with kitchenettes. The wireless Internet is very inconsistent and unreliable, but it's included with the cost of the room.  They have an outdoor pool which was also clean.

Clean but OLD

The rooms seem clean but this motel is in desperate need of an update. It looks like it has not changed since 1973. Redoing the bathrooms, replacing the flooring throughout, and replacing the furniture and drapes would make a world of difference.  On top of all that, it’s not inexpensive to stay here!

Desperately Needs Updating 

We had a small yellow worm squirming around under the bedspread and hair all over the pillows. The owner was extremely rude to me about it. I was asked what I expected them to do and told they would only change the sheets even though they were just changed that day. She actually squished the worm into the sheet! She treated me like I put it there. Thankfully we took our own bedding. No apology was given, no discount was given but lots of attitude was. We also found garbage under the bed. Our room rate was very expensive for the quality of the room. Musty smell, the shower was awful, you either froze or got burnt.  The bathroom sink took a while to drain.The microwave was missing a dial.  The only good thing about this place is their location and pool.  We were there for a ball tournament and they did not bother us when our group was sitting outside socializing.
