Although close to the road, the property also offers a great view of the St-Lawrence river. 
It is also close to several restaurants and shops. A walk by the shore is a must. 
The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was exceptionally good every morning. Staff was friendly and welcoming.
In case you are a light sleeper like me, bring earplugs, as the road is close by and as the house is not that isolated, the doors and floors creaking might disturb your sleep. Despite that, it was not a bad experience for me as l was prepared. As well, be prepared to climb a few narrow flights of stairs. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

Amazing week in Charlevoix

Booked this restaurant a week before arriving at La Malbaie. Spoke to owner when I made reservation. Wanted to make sure that a table would be available as we were travelling from 6 hours away. The night of the reservation arrived at the restaurant but the waitress could not find our reservation. Luckily the restaurant was not full. Wanted to go to this restaurant as they had Rack of Lamb. When I made the reservation i specifically asked about this dish and the owner said that they always have it available. 
Guess what no Rack of Lamb that night. No apology, nothing. When I explained my conversation with the owner to the waitress she acted very nonchalant.  We stayed since it was getting late and had fish. Spoiled the entire evening. 
Will NEVER return.

VERY DISAPONTED

Situated on the St Lawrence river, beautiful view,restaurants are at a walking distance.Other attractions are within 5 to 15 kilometers. It's a 5 minute drive to the casino.Rooms are a little bit small but the food is excellent.

Situation

The property is nicely located on the 'main' street. The room was small but very clean and cozy. It has free parking and wifi. The breakfast was really delicious and included in the price as well. You get way more than what you pay for. Definitely recommend, you cannot go wrong for the price.

Great deal for the price

We were coming from Baie St. Catherine after going whale watching when we came upon this lovely auberge (B&B)

We decided to stop and eat dinner because we were looking for lobster.

The atmosphere was lovely.  The auberge has a clear view of the St. Lawrence and of the bay.  We watched seals play in the water while we ate.

The restaurant was very clean.

Two of us had allergy requirements and they were able to accommodate this.  

The food was incredible.  All of us absolutely loved our food from the lobster bisque to the creme brulee, sugarpie and strawberry/rhubarb upside down cake. 

The staff was lovely and the 4 courses came at the right timing.

Would we go back!!!??  oh yes. 
over and over and over again.

Yum Yum Yum!

Daniel and Marie welcomed us like family into their beautiful Inn for our short romantic gateway in the Charlevoix region. They were very considerate of our needs and the room they picked for us was very charming. They are also great guides to the numerous activities to choose from nearby. And what about that gorgeous view ! As for the dining experience, breakfast and dinner both surpassed our expectations. Perfect Romantic & Adventure Week-End.

My significant other and I spent two nights there: had a really nice stay. Staff is great, would do anything to please the guests. Had a view on the St. Lawrence river from our room (#2). Breakfast was simply amazing.
