We stayed for one night and had a great time.  The pool and hot tub were great and there was lots of outdoor deck space to sit and relax.  The small screened in area was nice and the kids loved all the TV channels.  Oh -  the breakfast was great too.  We cannot wait to go back!


Great escape

I tried to reserve a room for us last night (husband, myself and baby) and unfortunately mentioned that our baby is 7 months old. In the morning Nadine had immediately cancelled our reservation because she said they only accept babies under 6 months to stay for free and told me to book for a 3 person stay. If she had conversed with us before cancelling and learned that we don't need extra space or food for the baby (who is not crawling yet) I would not be writing this but it seems an unreasonably rigid policy for a B&B.
There was no place to see this arbitrary policy to know i had to book for 3 people, as many places allow for babies under 1 year to stay for free.
This is a heads up to anyone else hoping to stay with a baby.
I will not be booking here.

They charge extra for babies over 6 mos

We stayed the night last minute instead of being in a rain storm camping down the road at the Pinery, and it was the best decision by far! Same prices as a typical hotel but better amenities, very homey, the hosts Nadene & Pat were very welcoming. The place was extremely clean and had a kitchen/breakfast nook/hangout area almost all to ourselves. They cooked us a homemade breakfast pictured below and it was delicious and everything we could have asked for on a cozy weekend getaway. 

Overnight @ Bee n Bee

We enjoyed our stay here; the hosts were very pleasant and interesting to talk to. The beds and pillows in room 2 were excellent - very comfortable. We also enjoyed a swim in their pool and lounging on the deck. Very close to the Pinery as well as restaurants and easy drive to Grand Bend.  A note for potential guests: this is a home, so the 3 guest bedrooms are quite close together with not overly sound proof walls. It may not be the best choice for people with younger energetic families as quiet time is strictly observed and to be fair to other guests trying to sleep. Also please tell the owners of your dietary restrictions, likes and dislikes in advance - they will send you an email. Check in is between 4 and 6 pm. Help yourself to tea and coffee. Good satellite t.v. and air conditioning. The hosts were very gracious, even during a power outage during breakfast! The generator came on and all was fine. We used the time to speak to some other guests and exchange stories - the human connection - which is the great part about staying at a b&b!

Sweet time at the Bee n' Bee

Four of us stayed for two nights to enjoy the beach and relax at the Bee n Bee. This place is extremely clean and well kept. The grounds are amazing. Pat and Nadene are very friendly and accommodating to our needs. This is the third time we have stayed here and we look forward to more future visits.

Great Two Nigh Getaway!

Stayed at Nadene & Pat's B&B for a hiking weekend.  Not a single complaint.  Extremely clean!  If there was dirt or a dust bunny anywhere to be seen you'd be hard pressed to find it.  No hard or crunchy towels or sheets, Everything smelled freshly laundered.  The hosts were friendly and wonderful and accommodating to any food issues although I didn't have any.  The breakfast was amazing and had my tummy full and prepared for a full day of hiking.  Accessible common area with tea, coffee and everything you could think you need.  Beautiful view of a marsh across the street while eating breakfast.  Absolutely lovely!  Recommended!

Outstanding!

Wish we could have stayed longer. Hosts were pleasant, welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and filling.  With only 3 rooms all with their own washroom, this place will never be over-crowded. Rooms, beds and washrooms were all in excellent shape and clean. Great common area and coffee, tea and beverage station on main floor. Pool not deep, but that's not an issue when you just need to cool off and the beach is very close by.

Great 2 night getaway at Port Franks

Extremely clean common rooms & bedroom/bath.  Very nice breakfast.  One thing other reviewers did not mention is if stairs are challenging for you, this might not be the place for you.  There are 11 outside steps with more inside up to the 3 bedrooms.  Our bedroom (#1) was very small with the bathroom across the hall which is a real consideration if one gets up often at night.  I understand the other 2 rooms have en suite bathrooms & are larger.

Extremely clean

This is an outstanding B&B - comfortable and spotless.  The hosts are very friendly and accommodating.  We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.  Just around the corner from the Pinery so very convenient to visit friends staying there.  The hot tub was a welcome treat after a long day.  You won't regret booking here.

Wonderful and relaxing B&B

We spent two nights at this B & B. The location is very peaceful, and the entire place is super clean. Our room did not have an ensuite bathroom, but our private washroom (with key), was located just outside the room, literally three steps away. We noticed the hosts Nadine and Pat pay a lot of attention to detail, the place is very well maintained. Breakfast was different for each day. The beach is a hidden gem, just 7 minutes walk from the b & b. 
Overall we had a great time.
