We had never been to Nova Scotia and it was my first time to Canada. I found this delightful place on the Atlantic Ocean about 30 minutes from Halifax, where we landed. 

Jane is highly responsive! 

The place was amazing! Clean, eclectic, stocked with everything you need, and they are kind people. We met Jane's husband Calvin who built the extra rooms himself. You hear the sounds of the ocean waves the whole time and most decks show you that. The room  is stocked with all the comforts you need: a convection oven, a microwave and an air fryer and coffee maker. Most of the condiments you need are in the refrigerator. Hair dryer, too.

We would highly recommend Moonlight Suites and would go back again!

Clean, awesome, beach waves--best kept secret!

I like the cottage B’s nice to see the sea from deck and a small hilltop behind the building that we can use to make some videos and pictures of sunset 🌅. I made a drone footage from the 🔝 of the hill and from the beach 🏝 .👍👍

Awesome place

This holiday season presented some health challenges for my sister so the decision was made to fly from Vancouver to be with her. My 14 day quarantine was the most comfortable, relaxing stay ever. Cal and Jane were the most gracious hosts and even with the social distancing made me feel welcome and at home. The Sea Spray suite will always hold wonderful memories and I will be returning to this Magical piece of paradise. Janet Baldwin, Langley, B.C.

Moonlight Magic!

I stayed at the Moonlight Beach Suites for just under a week and not a single day was like the next. The sea changes, the sunsets/sunrises more and more mesmerizing, and the night sky increasingly fascinating. It really feels like you are waking up somewhere new every day. I stayed in two different rooms, the SeaSpray (which is bright and airy) and the NextaSea (which has a panoramic view of the ocean, but slightly smaller), and both were exquisite. You are welcomed by the waves when you wake up in the morning and rocked to sleep by them in the evening. On top of it, you just can’t get more attentive and kind hosts! 

Eastern Shore Paradise

This has been an amazing journey! Thanks to Jane and Cal who made my stay, at the Moonlight Beach, a cozy, friendly place to stay. They were so available to accommodate me throughout my stay. The spot is superb, the sunsets are amazing, the surf is right there in « the backyard ».

I would suggest to rent one of the 4 suites for anyone, couple, small family who wants to get closer to the ocean and the beach, and to be hosted by a very genuine couple.

staff super and did many things to make stay special.offered to take pictures of renewal of wedding vows bringing a umbrella to beach when started to rain. rooms very clean and had everything so you could cook your own meals. great view and right on ocean

I would totally recommend this as a total get away. The views of Lawrencetown beach  are beyond spectacular, located on the trails  for endless hiking, biking and running. Watch the surfers or partake yourself! Easy access to the city but lots of restaurants nearby too. 

Jane and Cal are amazing hosts and will help you with any of your questions or needs.

Moonlight Beach Suites was everything we could ask for and more! Our hostess, Jane was lovely and accommodating. Our suite was very clean and well supplied. Beds were very comfy. The sound of ocean waves through our window throughout the night was perfect and The beach was amazing.

it doesn't get any better than moonlight beach suites. everything you want ocean frontage, great owners, and very comfortable living quarters.Still very close to the city of dartmouth.very quite and relaxing

best place to stay

This was an incredible place to stay and relax. The peace of the ocean, cleanliness of my suite, friendliness of the owners made for an excellent weekend. I literally hated to pack up and head home. This will easily be an experience worth repeating
