Last night l, was night 5 out of 7 that we are booked into the Super lodge Lethbridge, firstly the staff is so amazing and hospitable they have gone above and beyond to ensure we are having a great stay.
My husband is in town working and I'm visiting.
The rooms are big airy and clean with big fluffy pillows and comforters. The water is great in the shower and our room is loaded with a full size fridge, TV, cable, Wi-Fi, microwave and coffee station!
There is a BBQ available for guest use, along side a beautiful green belt and outdoor pool, which is closed for the season, but you can see the care taken in winterizing the space!
I CAN'T WAIT TO COME BACK NEXT SUMMER WITH THE KIDS.
The proximity to down town is great for business travellers, the water tower grill can be seen out our window and a short walk away is the movie cinemas, a row of chestnut trees, shopping, the Japanese gardens and much more.
Breakfast is served in a beautiful breakfast room, in the main lobby, prepared daily by the hotel manager with obvious pride.
Eggs, waffles, fresh fruit, breads, jams, Yogurt, cereal, oatmeal and beverages are on the menu and well maintained.
The hotel features the New Saigon Oriental Noodle house. Number 24 on the menu is great and I'm addicted to the bubble tea! Taro and avocado are my favs so far.
All in all, it is of course the staff that make a stay fantastic. It's the hospitality and professionalism at this establishment that has me raving in this review!
Manager Sharon- who can be found at the front of house- ensuring her guest are all satisfied and maintaining a prestine hotel while running a team of efficient and polite well trained staff. Sharon also takes personal pride in the breakfast room and can been seen daily ensuring it's above par!
Heather checked me in and was so helpful and remained so attentive and accommodating throughout our entire stay and we think she deserves a big shout out!!! (What a hard working lady m'gosh!)
Did I mention that the prices have zero competition??

BEST PLACE TO STAY IN LETHBRIDGE

My family and I took a road trip from Edmonton to California in December 2018 and we had to stay overnight in Lethbridge so we stayed at this motel.

We arrived late at night around 11pm and was greeted by a very pleasant young lady who checked me in right away. 

The room was clean and spacious. We had microwave and fridge. All we did was check in sleep and then eat breakfast and check out.

There was free parking - ample parking. The breakfast was really good. It had toast, pancakes, waffles, juice, coffee, cereal, milk, and HARD BOILED EGGS. 

I have no complaints and I would probably stay here again if we needed to stay in Lethbridge.

Great motel for short stay

we arrived by motorcycles - our reception was friendly and accommodating.  our bikes were parked right outside our room.  the bed was comfortable and the room was clean.  the manager was very informative and helpful.  we would definitely stay here again on our way through town.

Pros- staff is super nice and my room had an excellent tv with Netflix etc -huge fridge with empty coke box in it
Cons.- very rundown with lifting tiles, broken faucet, peeling paint holes in shower curtain etcand worst of all not very clean. I was a bit worried leaving my car with all the signs posted about leaving it at own risk. Outside of place is in need of many repairs, I paid $55 and would not recommend as too poor of shape for me   I’m slightly traumatized and believe me I’ve stayed in all sorts of places all over the world. Sorry for the bad review as the staff is trying!

Tried it once

I definitely wouldn’t recommend this motel if you like cleanliness.  It is the dirtiest room I’ve ever been in. I must say I think the sheets were clean, but that was about it… Otherwise I would not have stayed, but it was a long day and late at night, so I really had no choice once I checked in. There were balls of hair in the corners, the carpet was not vacuumed, especially around the edges, the tub looked dirty… Everything was Scuzzy.  I got up early and just couldn’t wait to leave but I decided I would take a look at the breakfast room… Wow, that was even more disgusting. The stairs on the way up were full of Froot Loops and dirt and grime… I turned around and walked out… Never again, and I do not recommend.

Floor dirty,staff rude, beds iffy, toilet broken/overflowed, dents in walls,chipped paint. Nice location though,dusty, nonrefundable, charge for smoking. Plenty of other hotels near.

The worst.

Between dirty rooms, broken appliances, door locks broken lights not working shower leaking and junkies shooting up in the parking lot seems like a safe place to go. Staff are rude and uneducated. Continental breakfast looks like it came out of the garbage. I witnessed three different drug deals happening the parking lot. The non-stop clearly stolen bikes coming and going and bike parts by the dumpster. Cops there almost daily. people living here are drug addicts. There was needles in the parking lot and some kind of drug pipe in the bathroom. It's best to just stay away and make sure your children stay away too.

This "hotel" is a glorified homeless shelter. It is filthy and dangerous. If you stay here be sure to remove all valuables from your vehicle otherwise they'll be gone in the morning. Truly disgusting.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

This place is absolutely disgusting. between finding out on THE NEWS (no mention from staff) there was a major fentanyl bust here the day we checked in is a little disheartening. especially when bringing children to stay with you. There was dried vomit on the side of the bed. the corner of the room smelled like urine. Our safety lock on the door was broken. the shower was leaking water onto the bathroom floor which was FILTHY. there was a sign in the "kitchen" to unplug to A/C before using any appliances. The "locals" living there harassing us for money. And this is just our room. We stayed with a group who also booked rooms here and EVERYONE had some sort of issue with their room. Ontop of that they raised the prices for the weekend we come to stay here yet offer nothing in return for the higher expense. No maintenance staff working on one of lethbridges busiest weekends? ridiculous. This place has gone down hill in the 6 years i have been coming here and I guarantee this is the last time.I do not feel safe with "ALL THE MONTHLY GUESTS HAVE MASTER KEYS!!!" AS PER "MANAGEMENT".
Scary stuff! Stay away.
