Excellent view of the ocean right in front of the cottage. It was spacious and very clean and well a well equipped kitchen with everything you need. Plenty of storage space for clothing etc... 
Would have liked to stay another night.
The owners were available and helpful.

When they say ocean view, it really is ocean view!!! Beautiful sunsets! 

This is a beautiful setting for anytime of the day.  We stayed in Room 6 on the end of the motel section-AWESOME SELECTION for booking over the phone!  We had a very large room with a sofa and sofa table, large comfortable bed, table for 2 and four large windows giving us a FANTASTIC view of the bay in three directions.  At sunset everyone was out either walking on the expansive grounds, sitting on chairs outside their room or chalet or sitting on the benches.  Nice easy trail down to some rocks at the shoreline.  We felt as if we were at a resort because the setting is so comfortable and relaxing.  There was a fire pit and BBQ facilities there.  Even though you don’t realize it while on the property of Ocean View Motel & Chalets, you are very close (walking distance) to great restaurants.  And a plus - you are right on the beautiful Cabot Trail and minutes from some of the most scenic spots along the trail!  We wish we could have stayed longer because of the beautiful and relaxing setting !!

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS VIEWS AND RELAXING SETTING !

Yvette was lovely and the place was beautiful. Very clean and very comfortable. Quiet place and lots to offer in the local area. We will be booking again next season for sure. Thanks for having us! 🙂

Great experience

Very nice place great view of the ocean, Staff very friendly. Made sure we had everything that we would need. Very knowledgeable about the area. The chalets were very roomy with a kitchenette and a very comfortable bed after a long day of SXSing cross the island. Would stay again no issues.  Would recommended the place to stay in Cheticamp. Also on the cabot trail. Rates were reasonable with other place in the area.

Highland quest run

Loved the location.  Motel room 6 has a beautiful ocean view. Slept with windows open amd the sound of the ocean was so peaceful.
Yvette at the desk was wonderful and very helpful. The premises are wonderfully. kept.  Benches all along the perimeter to sit and enjoy the water.


Great place

This hotel is an angry location. When you see it from the street you don't think much of it but when you stay there you realize it is worth it. Very clean and very friendly helpful staff. Nice views and sounds of the ocean at night.

Dont judge a book by its cover

The name of the establishment is Ocean View and the name suits it perfectly.

We stayed in one of the motel units.  It was comfortable, nothing fancy...but CLEAN.  There was a table and two chairs, two double beds and some kitchen utensils such as toaster, coffee maker, etc.   There is no air conditioning but there were two fans in the room.  The bathroom was tiny...only one person at a time can get in there!

But the grounds were spectacular.  Picnic tables, benches to sit on and watch the sunset.

The lady behind the desk was friendly and helpful, recommending great restaurants in the area.

The soundproofing between rooms could have been better.  The people to our left were up till after 1 am slamming doors, and stomping around.

It was fine for one night...Convenient to everything in Cheticamp

Would stay here again for the view!

We stayed at Ocean View in a motel unit, which worked out fine for us, but if we were ever here again we would opt for a Chalet.  This is a beautiful spot with wonderful views, better than some of the other accommodations.  It was pretty quiet, the only noise being lobster boats heading out of the channel in the early morning.
There is a great restaurant right next door but Chéticamp has several options for dining located up and down the Main Street.
The staff at Ocean View were friendly and helpful with check-in, giving directions and providing extra towels, coffee discs, etc.

Satisfactory stay in a beautiful spot

We stayed in a chalet for 3 nights. Yvette at check in was really nice. The chalet was nice and had everything you need in kitchen.Mini fridge,2 burner stove,microwave, coffee pot,dishes,pans and cutlery. Could use new towels in bathroom but everything was clean.The guys who cleaned rooms came by every morning to see what we needed and were very polite.Woukd definitely recommend staying here.Near the cabot trail and lots of shops and restaurants near also grocery store.

Awesome views

We only stayed here for one night but had a good experience. The check in process was easy and the staff was very friendly. We stayed in a chalet which the decor was outdated but very clean. The bed was comfy but the views were spectacular. Overall, it was a good experience.
