We stayed at a spacious 3-bedroom chalet right next to the Lac Saint-Jean. 

The kitchen is well equipped with all the utensils you need for cooking. The closest supermarket is a fair 10-15 minute drive away, so make sure you have everything you need before making yourselves comfortable.
The double beds are slightly narrow for two, and the chalet we stayed in only had one shared bathroom/toilet for the six of us.

Just a few steps away and you can stroll along the beach of Lac Saint-Jean in very peaceful surroundings.

What a disappointment this place has been for our family. Obviously, it is poorly maintained and everything in this place is cheap: the faucets are all broken, the convertible couch has a plastic surface, which is peeling off and leaving pieces all over the unit. The spa is so completely overpriced (even for guest after discount). The bed sheets are awfully cheap... Stay away!

Shabby and overpriced

The Chalets & Spa Saint-Jean site is located on the shore of Lake Saint-Jean near a beach. The various cottages are located between the beach and the seasonal camping ground. The establishment offers several types of accommodation: -Chambre: $, small room located in a basement with large windows. A kitchenette, a living room and a common bathroom are also available for 5 bedrooms. -Rocca (Rocher): $, these are condos for 2, 4 or 6 people. We have a large living room, a small conveyor bed, a small conveyor bed and an electric kitchenette located in a single terrace (after a 1-3-6 hour walk to the lake).

St. John's Lake is a stunning sight

We stayed here as a family for a sporting event. The cost of the big cottage is quite expensive but we're very good. The cottage was spacious, there was everything you might need. When you book take the time to ask what the cottage contains. For the same size some had a washer and dryer and others didn't. Access to the spas is free and the children have to leave by 4:30 pm.

Clean shafts near Lake St. John

Very disappointing experience for a stay at Lake St. Jean. Don't rent the space where there are 5 bedrooms and only one bathroom. All 5 bedrooms are rented to different families. So about 20 people for a toilet (breeze) and a shower...and in a pandemic situation. And the management doesn't specifically mention this fact when booking. Then they get out and justify themselves...no listening. No one treats them like customers. They make their establishment profitable this way but we won't recommend it and we certainly won't recommend it!

False information, poor customer service

Perfectly situated cabins right on Lac St-Jean! The cabin is fully equipped with fridge, microwave, toaster oven, kitchen supplies, and all you need for your stay. The bed was super comfy too! Too bad it was raining as we could not take advantage of the lake. There is also a spa circuit which is available to all guests!

Wonderful accommodation!

We stayed for 2 nights in the Rocca #1 cottage, a mezzanine cottage with 2 double beds on the 2nd floor and on the ground floor there is the bathroom with shower, the kitchenette (grill, microwave, refrigerator, sink and everything necessary for the kitchen), dining table and 4 chairs, a sofa bed and TV. The Rocca #1 has a balcony with table, 4 chairs and a partial view of Lake St. John. The cottage is basement TRS, 0È, no service, we were 2, there were 2 decades of peace and they do not pass to change them, you have to do it at the small reception which is open from 9am to 5pm.

What a lovely place!

The grounds are lovely, and the room is good.  But for, us it is not worth it if you have to wait over an hour for your food. We had a reservation at 8:30 in the evening, our dinner came 45 minutes later. the next morning we wanted to hit the trail. We went to breakfast at 7:50. We were served our food at 9:05. When I got my breakfast my eggs were cold and one third of the size of the rest of the table. inconsistent portions and temperature was not worth the hour and 15 minute wait. Valuable trail time was lost. Again, the accommodations are great but collectively spending two hours in a chair waiting for meals is not worth this day.

If you like waiting 1 1/2 hours for your food stay here

We had come 5 years earlier and had two large condos. This year we had to have a large condo and a small chalet with a private beach! 1. Finally, instead of the very large condo reserved, we were given the key to a small condo! After complaining, they acknowledged their mistake and offered us two small condos instead of the very large one, but they were not communicating, which led to leaving a minor child alone in one of the condos! Finally, we stayed in a (only) small condo of 37m2 with the bed in the living room, whereas we had a small condo with two bedrooms.

Overbooking, misleading descriptions, and I'm a man with a menopause.

We spent 3 nights as a family (2 teenagers) in a duplex apartment overlooking Lake St. Jean. The apartment is functional, comfortable, clean. The kitchen equipment is minimal (it could be improved). The site is great, with a beach on the lake. We even took a bath! very close to the places to visit (including the Jalbert Valley).
