The Worst Vacations in the Gas

We stayed in the inn. The room was clean and comfortable. Lunch was not included but coffee was available. With the tide low, we enjoyed the sunset and a nice walk along the river. The only hiccup was that the reception was a little confused because my papers were not available even the next day. The Le Matelot restaurant 5 km to the north is excellent.

Even though the buildings are older, they have started renovations. Like our renovated bathroom, extremely clean draps with mattress bed bugs (bravo) beds are a good comfort bed. Clean room, wood floors (excellent; no carpet) The motel section with small balcony and patio door to see, hear and feel the sea is very pleasant. We had the motel room #8 and the #7@5 which are also positioned for the view (always partial because of some trees). They have a hostel with only 3 rooms that have a view of the river and the chalets #14@17 are on the beach.

We were two families. We had the cottage 14 and 15. The cottage 14 is for 4 people. It's really rustic and very small. It really lacks storage space, hooks in each room would be a good idea and remove the fake ceiling would also be less suffocating. It would need renovations. On the other hand, it was very clean and the view is beautiful. The cottage 15 was really more beautiful but only for three people. The location is really super right on the beach with a beautiful view of the lighthouse and very nice sunset. You can make fire on the strike.

Family Holidays

We stayed one night in the motel section of the Domaine Anne by the sea. The room was clean and tidy. Of course it is an old building, but the owners have revitalized the place well. The lunch included was good. The only negative points: the rooms are poorly soundproofed and the mattress was digging in the center.

Clean and beautiful sea view

The only positive thing is the geographical location of the establishment.The motel was very dusty, the white doors were no longer white, the faucet was old and outdated, the mold around the bathroom, etc. I will never go back there. There is another nice place.

Very clean and well maintained room, but no hospitality service you have to cross to the campsite, a bit ordinary. The lunch included is good and offers a good selection. Diane waits for us there with an unusual smile and kindness

Beautiful view of the sea

Our second stay at the Annie on the Sea estate was in a cottage. This time we were in cottage no. 14 Le Saint-Laurent. Very rustic, narrow bathroom, but always the beautiful view that makes us go back there. Our friends had cottage no. 17 and it was more spacious.

Second stay at the cottage

Extremely disappointed. I booked a room at the inn because we wanted access to the spa. The spa was broken, we weren't even notified and the full price was charged. Also, there was poop and hair directly on the toilet seat when we arrived in our room. Courteous staff but we would have liked more understanding of what we were experiencing as disappointment. Wonderful landscape. Good lunch, good coffee.

Unfortunately disappointed

We booked this well-located hotel for other entrances to appreciate the jacuzzi, which was out of reach when we arrived. Our room was crooked, in an angle that almost gave nausea. No one at the reception for the inn, only at the campsite. The bed and pillows are so hard that my husband and I were numb all night. I couldn't sleep a minute. This morning we realized that the bathroom door was broken and didn't close so we had to do our needs without discretion. The view of our room is beautiful, that's absolutely all.
