My husband and I stayed here for one night while in Moncton. The hotel has a few restaurants down the road and is near the famed Magnetic Hill. I had no problems checking in. The room was quiet. The bed was adequate for a night, though I found it to be a bit too soft. A big negative was that we could not make the heat work. It was cold in the room. We turned the bathroom heater up to heat the rest of the room. Only one roll of toilet paper was provided, and we ran out the next morning. There was no bathtub stopper. My favorite part of the hotel was the price I paid. It was the cheapest place we stayed in on our trip. 

One Night Stay

I left this motel in tears during check out. This motel is advertised as pet friendly on booking.com, it is NOT pet friendly. There is a big no pets sign on the office door. The young owner was yelling and very disrespectful to me, because i didn't tell him about my dog, when I booked on booking.com there is no place to check off that you are bringing a pet. Another employee, I assume a family member,  was trying to be reasonable and he yelled at her to GO.GO, I couldn't believe it! Don't stay at this motel, it should not even be in business with the way that they treat customers.  Not that it matters with everything else, but the bathroom sink was clogged, the fan light above the bed stopped working, the mini fridge door wouldn't stay closed and there was a hardened booger on the pillowcase.

Worst Stay of My Life!

The price is cheap, but you get what you pay for.  The room as a basement smell and there a lot of patched holes in room 5.  Mattress isn’t comfortable.  You will roll and meet your partner in the middle of the bed.  No toilet paper in washroom.

Visiting Moncton

We lucked out with Scenic Hotel.  It was clean, the room had just been renovated and was very modern and large.  We were on the second floor and had a fantastic view from the back window.  The manager/owner was welcoming, friendly, and helpful.  This hotel was half the rate of the chains and competed well.  Great beds, new linen...Highly recommend,

Great Value for Money - Great Stopover

So very pleased we decided to go with this very sweet motel. Beautiful view. Very clean and updated room. We are in moncton 2 to 3 times a month and will be staying here from now on. A bit outside of town but still close enough to everything.

Hidden Gem

We really enjoyed our one night stay here.  The room was SO clean and everything was very comfortable. The price was good too.  Clearly a well cared for property with everything you could need for an overnight stay.

I would stay here again!

Such a welcoming and comfortable place

One night on the way to Cape Breton... selected primarily based on price--nearly half the rate of most other "name brand" properties in the area. Our .was clean, furnished well--a bit cramped with two double beds. We opened windows and enjoyed the fresh air... but that also meant we were "entertained" by some night owls (the human kind).

There is clearly some pride of ownership at this property. Yes, it's a bit aged, but well maintained, freshly painted, etc. Parking can be a bit tight right in front of the rooms. 

I may have a mental block but I also think the GPS has some issues with this area as getting to and from can be a bit challenging. If we were staying longer, I'd spend more time figuring that out! (There's a great map of Moncton available from the office, but the motel is almost off the map.)

And yes, it is very scenic!

Great stopover...

Stayed for the 2018 Sussex Ballon Fiesta. Exceptionally clean, great view. Good location. Fast check-in and good service at the desk. Allows pets. Comfortable and easy checkout. Good communication through email after booking.

A nice place

It was the perfect stay for a night after partying. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The location away from all of the noise of the city makes for a nice sleep. Friendly workers. I enjoyed my night there.

Great

Functional room, beautiful views over the city of Moncton - very reasonable accommodation for the price.  I had to book this hotel last minute because there was very little else available, but I was pleasantly surprised by the stay.  Don't let the location put you off, you're just a short drive to places like Costco and the Trinity Mall, and another few minutes takes you to downtown Moncton and the main Champlain Mall.
