Now that Auberge La Porte Rouge is gone, we needed a new place to stay during our annual fall cycling trips in the Laurentians.   Au Beau Soleil turned out to be a wonderful little spot, with just one unit in the B & B.   It’s totally spotless and well equipped with full kitchen, private bath, and use of their dock and kayak on beautiful Lac Mercier located across the street.  
Breakfasts are more than plentiful and include lots of fresh fruit, home baking and many fresh, local ingredients (the Balderson cheese and maple syrup too).  
Karen is a super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable host.

Our New Place in the Old Town

____________________ THE GEOGRAPHICAL SITUATION ------------------ B&B located by the road a few minutes from the famous Mont Tremblant station. Nevertheless, it is absolutely quiet at night so the location is ideal to be close to the village. A car is a plus like anywhere in Canada. Top B&B with very warm owners, plenty of quality services

We have stayed with Karin and Stan for the past three years on weekends during July.
They are both wonderful people and make us feel right at home.  There is no detail that is overlooked.  The home has plentiful free parking right at the door step.  The rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed.  
The breakfast portion of the B+B would rival any restaurant.  Karin, who is masterful in the kitchen provides a hearty and well thought out breakfast each morning and ensures everything is perfect.  She bends over backwards to accommodate.  There is fresh fruit daily along with a very tasty hot breakfast.
If that weren't enough, there is a big beautiful yard with a large hot tub kept at a great temperature.  They offer bikes which is perfect as the bike path is across from the home and stretches for miles.
There is also a lake right across the street that they have access to and we are able to use the dock and swim and kayak along Lac Mercier.
The location is perfect.  They are a five minute walk to old Tremblant town which has restaurants and quaint shops.  They are less then a 10 minute drive to new Tremblant village and ski area.  
You can always count on Stan to tell wonderful stories about the history of the area.  They are both extremely knowledgable and offer fantastic suggestions on where to explore.  
As you can tell from this review, my wife and I are extremely fond of Karin and Stan and once you stay there, you will be too.
We highly recommend this place.

Truly relaxing B+B experience - 5 stars

The house is very nice, big and spacious. It has a heco behind the house to make a BBQ and a heco to make a fire on the floor and sit down (we couldn't do it because we were up and we couldn't fully enjoy the house). The room and bathroom are very large and very clean. The bed is very clean. The breakfast? Impressive, very nice piece of breakfast, great fruits, yogurt, croissants, crepes, waffles, biscuits, toasted, empanados, teas...y sure I'll miss things.

The recommended accommodation is 100%

The owners are lovely, always willing to lend a hand The breakfast is magnificent and very varied The living room is not very large, but it is well used In a beautiful area with many things to do They offer you canoes for a lake in front of the hotel It is a little far from the ski area or the city center.

A charming place.

We only stayed for I night but really enjoyed our stay.  The location is perfect and within only a few minutes drive of everything you would want to see in Mont-Tremblant.  Our room was spotlessly clean and nice and comfortable.  Karen made us a fantastic breakfast, there was enough food to feed 10 more people.. Stan and Karen are very friendly and as soon as we met them they made us feel like old friends, welcoming us into their home and offering to help in any way, Karen even wrapped up a snack for us when we left, talk about hospitality!! They have a hot tub and kayaks that are available if you would like to take them out on the lake right across the road.  You can't beat the value and service we received, it felt more like visiting friends or relatives than it did a hotel or B & B.

Like staying with family

I just loved the time there, for the first time I had more fun at the hotel than while skiing, and that's really something that doesn't happen to me often!The place is really beautiful, you feel at home, the staff is almost too nice! You have everything you need and anything you could ask for! great place, I'm actually going back to Tremblant and this will be my first option for sure!

The greatest place in Tremblant

My girlfriend and I spent 3 nights here last week and it was fantastic. A super nice couple runs the place and they were extremely accomodating and knowledgeable about things to do in the area. The breakfasts were out of this world; course after course of delicious goodness. The entire place was very tidy and it was nice to kick back in the hot tub after a long day of skiing.

Had a really great experience here

We had an unforgettable stay at Karin and her husband's house. Everything was really charming: their warmth and the very sweet atmosphere. Karin prepared very good dishes for our breakfast (the waffles were fantastic). Their house is very well located because it is very close to the main ski resort. They know all about the history of Mont Tremblant. So we had a wonderful and authentic experience. For all these reasons, we strongly recommend  In the Beautiful Sun . Benjamin & Vanessa

That's great.

Au Beau Soleil has a great location. It is located on the main road and about a 10 minute drive to the bottom of the moutain.  It is also walking distance to the old village of Tremblant where there are some restaurants and ski rental places. It is convenient to rent ski's here to aviod crowds on the moutain.

The B & B is clean and has a nice size room with your own bathroom. It is very clean. The bed is very comfortable to get a great night sleep. You have access to use the outside jacuzzi. It is also located across the street from a lake. The B & B has a driveway that makes life easy!

You feel as if you are staying with family. Stan and Karen are great people. They are very helpful and friendly. They give you the low down on everything you need to know. The breakfast is amazing. We had fresh fruit everyday. Our breakfast choices were crepes, frittata, and apple cinnamon pancake.
