We stayed at this very nice B & B during last summer's F1 weekend. Overall, we had a great experience.  Our room was located on the second floor and was quite comfortable for the 2 of us.  Toilet and bathroom were located on the third floor.  I believe there are only 3 guest rooms in the whole place so there was never a wait for the shower.   The owners, Eric and Daisy were very welcoming.  Eric speaks very little English but Daisy is fluent and I was able to get by with my limited French.  Breakfast was very tasty.   I chose this B & B  mostly because of the location.   It is not actually in Old Montréal  but is located across the highway bridge in Chinatown.  However, it is an easy 10 minute walk to the old city.   It is also just a block away from the main boulevard in Montréal with easy access to buses including the public airport bus.  There is a Metro station that is a 5-10 minute walk away.  It should be pointed out, and this is not a criticism but just a fact, that you are in the middle of a very vibrant area of Montréal and it can get quite noisy at night as people stumble back when the bars and clubs close.

Comfortable Stay Near Old Montreal

My friend and I attended an event at the Palais de Congress and booked here when our original hotel fell through. We had a good experience overall! We were so close to the event space which was very convenient. The rooms are cute and spacious, and the couple cooks very well, so breakfast was delicious. They don't seem to speak very much English, which wasn't a problem for us since we're bilingual, but may be a hurdle for someone who is an anglophone. The complimentary wifi was very much appreciated and there are two showers in the shared bathroom which makes it quicker to get ready. We never had to wait for the shower to be available! 

I do not recommend this location for anyone with a mobility problem, as you have to climb many stairs.

Good food, cute rooms, great location!

This quaint B&B is a perfect location for those who choose to walk to Old Montreal or to the newer areas of Montreal. Our hosts were friendly and provided a code to the front door so that we could come and go.  There are 3 stories so be prepared to carry your suitcase up stairs. This is not wheelchair friendly.  Our breakfast was satisfactory. Homemade jams, jelly were available. There are a lot of knick-knacks in the rooms. Some people would find it cluttered. I would have appreciated more counter space in the water closet. There is no tub but two showers are available in a room beside the toilet. My roomie found the bed hard but I was able to find a comfortable position to sleep on the daybed.

Location great, accommodation is fine.

The location of this B&B was great; close to downtown, close to Old Montreal and right next door to Chinatown with many restaurant options. After reading reviews I had high expectations and was looking forward to a small hotel that offered breakfast each morning. Upon our arrival we had a difficult time finding anywhere to park. There were two lots at the bottom of the street that offered overnight parking, but neither attendant could give us much information. I knocked on the door of the B&B (they knew we were checking in around that time) and we were told that street parking is free until Monday mornings- after driving around we finally found a spot. Information on parking and what to expect when booking the B&B would be quite helpful.

Our room was clean, but cluttered. There weren't many spaces to put our own things since desks and tables were covered mostly with books and other items. We were on the third floor next to a shared bathroom, but never saw another person so it felt like our own toilet and shower room. Although right near a busy part of town and a hospital, the room was quiet.

The B&B owners were welcoming upon our arrival, but it ended there. To enter the B&B you needed a code to use on a keypad to unlock the door. When we left at 8pm for dinner we tried the code to make sure it worked and that we wouldn't disturb anyone later if we couldn't get it. The code did not work the first time for us so we rang the doorbell. The male owner was not happy and after showing us how simple it was to use the keypad he pushed us out and told us to close the door. There might have been somewhat of a miscommunication due to the language barrier (he spoke only French and I spoke only English), but we felt very awkward. We were paying a significant amount of money to stay there and we felt like we were unwelcome. If you don't mind staying in a place that feels like you're tiptoeing around your parents house as to not wake them, then stay here. Otherwise I would choose a hotel where you can come and go as you please and not be shoved out when the entry door doesn't wok for you.

We never got to try the breakfast as there was a misunderstanding of when breakfast time was. I heard 8-10am, but it was in fact 8-9am. When we came down at 9:30 we were told we had missed it. No coffee, juice or even a muffin was left in the common area. Although the misunderstanding was my fault, I have never stayed at a B&B (in any country) that didn't offer a little more leeway and hospitality. 

I think the owner's meant well and the location was great, but I can't recommend this bed and breakfast.
