A wonderful B&B located in a vibrant area yet tucked away on a quiet street. Perfectly situated for walking to many sites, eateries, nightlife, etc. Our welcoming and very kind innkeeper, Lynn, was a true pleasure offering both delicious coffee and breakfast to start the day. Our accommodations were quite comfortable. We stayed in the Vienna, the smallest room with a shared bath. We were skeptical with sharing at first though quickly learned there was no issue and would do it again. The room itself was cozy with enough room for two and offered a small balcony that looked out the front of the B&B. Staying four nights we had quite a lovely experience and look forward to visiting again in the future.

So very enjoyable

There were 3 of us coming to see the van Gogh Immersion and regrets we could only be here one night. To that, add an early evening/overnight snowstorm. We gratefully settled in after early dinner and absoLUTEly enjoyed our comfortable setting! The quiet, cozy and relaxed room was supportive of conversation. Ease in moving about to make oneself tea, share wine, shower is appreciated. Breakfast was delightful as our hostess so charming, helpful with surrounding public transportation connections...and served a delicious lox bagel with capers. I plan a return...already, only home 1 day. The variety of rooms makes several returns tempting...

van Gogh Immersion

We had a nice room that shared a bathroom with one other party.  Never had a problem. Bathrobes were provided to make this easier.
The room was conveniently located to the metro and bus stops and easily within walking distance to a nice street filled with chic restaurants.
Our hostess Bettina was delightful and very helpful.  She created gourmet breakfasts each morning for all guests.

Home away from home

High recommandation for this B&B! The room was very nice. Shared bathroom very clean. And the home made breakfast was very good thanks a lot to Bettina.perfect location. Parking provided. Very good ratio price / quality.

Super B&B

Angelica Blue was a perfect stay for us! The location was incredible—right in the heart of Montreal within walking distance to many of the major sites. The staff was wonderful and attentive! Really made all the difference! We had a delicious breakfast and great conversation with the staff and others who were staying—it felt like staying with family. The building and the amenities were beautiful, classic, and comfortable (the bed was marvelous). I cannot say enough good things about this place and will recommend it to anyone who comes to Montreal! Truly one of the best B n Bs we have stayed at!

The best in Montreal!

I stayed in small room on premier etage and it was delightful.  Well decorated, good bed, table to work at, and a small patio overlooking the street. I felt right at home with a cozy kitchen for use at any time, and a delicious breakfast in the morning.  Location is great, and if coming from the airport the 747 bus drops you off only about a 2 minute walk from the front door. Highly recommend.  The host Betina was very helpful and chatty.

Lovely Stay

The picture shown is the room that we stayed in.  This 1891 home has charm but also the latest technology.  It is located near Old Town and other sights that you can walk to. Only possible problem is the two narrow flights of stairs one has to climb to get to the top floor where our room was located.  First day we took the Hop On, Hop Off tour which is a must in this very large city.  Most people speak French and English so communicating was no problem.  Lynn, the owner of Angelica's, was more than helpful and may I say delightful!!  This is a bed and breakfast so be prepared for a yummy home cooked breakfast.  Centrally located and on a quiet street.

Center of Montreal

When my wife and I travel we try to stay in local B&Bs, rather than hotels or Air B&Bs, in order to meet people who live in the area we are visiting, and to meet other guests they may be hosting.  This was one of those places where the owners made a great impression on us!  They interacted with us and the other guests.  They made us feel right at home.  They were outgoing, friendly and informative about the area.  The breakfasts were varied and freshly prepared.  However, the rooms are all up a steep flight of stairs, which might prove difficult for older, or disabled guests.  Our “room’s bathroom” was not in our room, but down the hall.  We noticed some of the other rooms had similar “private” bathrooms, while a few had bathrooms in the room itself.  Also, the parking is around behind the building.  At the moment you have to park on the street, drop off your luggage, drive around a set of buildings to get to the parking, walk back around that set of buildings, and then enter the B&B to climb the steep steps.  It is located within walking distance of the port and Chinatown.

Great People!

Great location, walkable to the old town buildings and attractions.  Lovely, freshly made breakfasts.  Nicely decorated large room with spa tub.  Quiet room and street.  Nice terrace.  Friendly owner.  Limited free, off-street parking.  On the negative side, we displayed the bilingual "Clean me now" sign on the door, but the staff, on a glance, decided it was the "Do not disturb" sign" resulting in no service.  Light bulb was missing from the desk light.  Wifi was slow and spotty at best.  On our first night, neither the Wifi nor the TV were connecting.  Lack of elevator may concern some guests.  Would have loved to give this location 5*, but experienced just too many hiccups in the stay.
