Caring, compassionate front of desk, clean rooms,  a safe place to go for a peaceful sleep on a budget friendly sleep in the heart of the friendliest city on the map. Walking proximity to the best attractions in downtown MJ.

Old & in desperate need of repairs & upgrading. Deadbolt didn’t work, phone didn’t work, air conditioner minimally effective; the promised coffeemaker had to be asked for & came with one 2-cup coffee pack, only given 2 small bath towels. Smelled & looked clean though. The downtown location was handy for us who had never been to MJ before, could return to our room between Tunnels tours. However, for the price, I’d suggest something more modernized.

It’s really better than I expected. I had a very comfortable stay. The room is very clean. The motel is located right on Main st which is walking distance to a lot of restaurants, the grocery store Safeway. It’s also close to highway 1 since I’m riding my bike. The staff are friendly, though he did try to make me pay $10 more (75) instead of 65 I saw online. He actually gave me the room for 65 when he said he has one last one available after I was hesitating to pay 75. Overall, it’s a nice place to stay for one night visiting Moose Jaw.

Very disappointing, had no glasses to drink from, 1 set of cutlery,No Cable!! Found out after we arrived to our room to rest, all they said was Sorry there was nothing they could do about it, it was musty smelling,no screens, would have liked to open for fresh air Towels felt like sand paper on the skin,lamp didn't work properly,had to unplug , plug back in to use; table had no chairs to sit down,flies in the room, mattress was bony,thin pillows,soaps the size of a loonie,sights were the highlights of our stay , friendly people,I wish we would have read the reviews first before we stayed there, will next time😟

Arrived expecting at least some semblance of a theme, instead got a horrible motel that hasn’t been updated in 40 years.  The stench of old cigarettes filled my nose the moment I walked into my room and was greeted with two creaky beds, creepy dark brown walls, a single green light, and one of those fat TVs. The door couldn’t lock from the inside, so we had to prop the door up against the door to lock it. The smell never got any better, and you can’t use the power unless the weird green light is on, which makes it very bright and impossible to fall asleep on your “bed”. The air conditioning was surprisingly loud for the abysmal amount of air it gave. NO refunds given under any circumstances, so I’d have to say this hotel is a definite SKIP.

I wouldn’t stay here if THEY paid me 80$

Stayed during week when working in Moose Jaw.  Good price.  Clean.  Friendly staff. Good basic motel. Central location.  Walking distance to shops.  Would recommend.  Can walk to restaurants or a short drive to other restaurants and shopping.

This was a neat tour. The 'guides' stayed in character the whole time and did a great job. The tunnels themselves were pretty cool but I didn't really find that the guides really explained much about the history behind everything we saw on the tour. I still dont really know what was real/authentic historically and what was part of the performance. Either way, a fun 1 hour tour to do in Moose Jaw

Unpleasant experience. No Refunds sign at check-in should have led me to ask to view room prior to paying.  Dirty rough looking room. Filthy dark carpet.  Cigarette burn on furniture and bedspread.  I kept my shoes on at all times. Doors and woodwork all hacked up. Air conditioner dirty and in closet area instead of sleeping area. Bathroom dirty rusty and broken down. Ceiling gross.  TV did not work. I made several attempts to call the office. No answer.  I made many trips to the front desk and finally was able to track down agent who swapped out the remote. TV with other remote worked only for a short time. 

I would not recommend the hotel to anyone as there is no reason to stay there. 

I was nervous about my car in the lot. Another quest advised me to park elsewhere as his car had been block in and caused his early morning departure to be delayed.

A bit of a let down. Not the cool quirky Hideaway I had hoped for.

Chose Capone’s as it was close to attractions, low pricing for budget travellers and offers great internet access to all rooms and for free. Something we look for in all accommodation we book, so we can plan what’s next in our Canadian road trip.

Room was over crowded with furniture, front door needed slamming to lock correctly as just pulling it shut the lock doesn’t catch correctly.
The gentleman at reception speak little and understood no english - so constantly needed to repeat ourselves.

The internet worked for the owners but not for the rooms, even after re-connecting half dozen times..... they seemed not to care.
