Had read Good and a couple of Bad reviews.  Right on#1, 20 km west of Moose Jaw. Attractive building,  lots of parking.  Spacious entrance.  Building currently under renovation. Check in easy- friendly staff. Very clean. Spacious room, fully equipped. Good beds, very comfortable.  3 fluffy pillows per bed. Bathroom equipped and clean. Good breakfast included. Moderately priced- good deal

Well done Pilgrim Inn

My son and I booked a night at the Pilgrim Inn.  At time of booking we specifically asked for a quiet room and advised that we would be checking in between midnight and 1am.  Check in was no issue and we were given room 118 (first floor at end of hall).  As we were tired from a 13hr drive to get there, we immediately planned to go to sleep.  But that was delayed due to seeing a large bug crawling next to bed.  It was a very large cricket (main body about the size of a quarter).  I spend some time to catch it under drinking cup and took it to main desk.  I said “This was in our room.”  They said “It’s harmless.”  I said “I know, it is a cricket, but I still don’t want to share my room with bugs.  If you can open the front door I will let it go outside.”  I then retired to my room.  About an hour or two later I woke to use restroom and was surprised to find another large cricket bug in the bathroom with me.  I put a cup over it and went to bed, not wanting to go back to the front desk yet again in the middle of the night.  But now I suspected this bug issue was not a one-off and if there are two there are likely more.  I did my best to sleep but by 6am noise from the room above woke both of us.  It sounded as though someone (a child I would guess?) was running back and forth and/or jumping off things to floor (definitely NOT normal foot traffic or moving suitcases).  I hoped it would be transient in nature, but it was not. It was a loud pounding that could not be drowned out by putting both the hvac fan as well as bathroom fan on for some white noise.  I finally decided to call the front desk (dialing zero from room phone).  No answer.  I waited awhile, and as the pounding from above continued, I called again.  No answer.  Now I dressed and walked down to the front desk.  Taking another caged bug with me.  I asked them to ask the room upstairs to please control/minimize the banging.  This was at 7am.  When I crawled back in bed the noise did not reduce.  If anything it was more pronounced (like on purpose).  Only when they left their room for their breakfast was it quiet but once they returned they resumed the running/banging.  
When we gave up trying to sleep and went for breakfast I told the front desk about the continuation.  They said “They came down for breakfast, I am sure it was quiet then.”  I replied that “Yes, i know exactly when they left and when they returned.”  Not helpful.
Upon checking out I asked if, in lieu of the bugs and disrespectful guests above us, that we could be given a discount on the room.  The front desk agent said “I am glad you asked for that.  Our manager said we could offer you a $10 credit.”  I said that was almost insulting and asked for the managers names for my review.  I was given the names Brandy and Kelly.  
Very disappointing stay - unless you are deaf, have earplugs handy  and are an ichthyologist (bug scientist), keep driving or sleep in your car.

Keep driving down the road even if it is late.

Very clean, breakfast selection is very good, service is efficient. Best value for your money in this area. Only improvement I would suggest is larger bed. We requested a room with one bed; it was a double bed, I was expecting a queen or king which I think is the industry standard.

Great value

After several yrs of back and forth past this place on travels, we decided to give it a go on friend's advice. This is a clean, quiet place at a reasonable price for the area. While it lacks some usual amenities after a driving day (pool, hot tub, or exercise room), it does offer a large, comfortable room, a good sleep and a very reasonable breakfast. Staff are friendly, efficient and accommodating. Supper options are few in town but adequate in a pinch. We will definitely keep Pilgrim Inn  in mind on future travels.

Comfortable overnighter

Excellent quick stay during winter storm.  

Very reasonable price considering how expensive Moose Jaw can be. 

Called ahead to make sure Tesla charger was working - it was.  

Lobby was very cozy, room was clean and comfy.

Continental breakfast was simple but just fine - good coffee!

Will stay again for sure!

Great quick stay to charge up during winter storm

A hot day in August on a long distance trip.  The hotel? A wonderful spot of cool comfort and hospitality.  Glad we discovered it last time through!  We'll do it again.  These are thoughtful pleasant people.  The community is small but resting where there are fewer distractions is a bonus.  The hotel is a refreshing alternative to the typical big box hospitality location. An unexpected gem in a pleasant community.

While visiting family in the area, we chose to stay here for several nights for convenience. 
There isn’t much around the area…Subway and pizza shop next door, but there is a fantastic little ice cream stand almost attached to the hotel. Worth a stop! 
The hotel is friendly and welcoming. The rooms are large and very clean, but very dated. 
The breakfast area clean and provides the standard breakfast you’d find at most hotels. 
This hotel is right on the highway, so yes, it’s a little noisy. The air conditioning will drown out the highway traffic if you can put up with the loud noise it makes. 
The room is comfortable and clean and that’s the most important thing. 
And for the price, it’s worth it.

Comfortable stay

Mattress would be a penal colony reject——towells have capability to sand wood——and the less said about ADVERTIZED breakfast the better.  Comparison  with any motel  a short trip down the highway in Swift Current for the same price is a no brainer.

DON’T! ! !

If you're passing through Sask and need a stop (and if you've driven through Sask before you know what I mean) - this place meets the need.

No frills; good service; clean; reasonable price.

The 'breakfast' is now a pedestrian go bag with a couple things. Hopefully change will come again when Covid BS subsides.

Would recommend given the above.

Met the need

This is a lovely hotel. What a surprise to find it in little Carenport. CLEAN. And... free breakfast is advertised and they actually provided avsg breakfast in the morning. Lots of room to walk the dog in the back.
