This Motel comes equipped with blood stained shower curtains, an intense scent of mold and mildew, a discarded condom left to waste under the bed, a gross bathroom with a lacklustre shower, and little to comfort. Fridge is all right I guess.

Sleep in your car

Do yourself a favour stay in the park. Both my room door and outside door were broken and didn’t close properly. The outside door was open 100% of the time in the 10 days that I stayed there open to the elements and wildlife. The wall air conditioning unit was so poorly installed that you could see the outside between the gap on the wall in the unit. The bathroom had mould in it and the carpets were dirty. When the staff would clean the rooms they would leave all the doors on the floor open unattended. This place was dirty broken down and poorly managed.  When inquiring about some of the issues I encountered I was told that nothing could be done because the owners were in North Korea and couldn’t be reached.

Filthy washroom  no staff avilable

we were passing through Moosomin on a friday night and desperetly needed food and a shower. we rolled in around 9pm and chose this hotel becasue online it said it has a lounge with food available until 11pm. well they don't. the lounge was closed right down, very dark in there. we asked if any other hotels had restaurants and the girl at the front desk said no only place to eat was dairy queen. 
i asked if any other hotels had even vending machines, she got pushy and rude and said " do you want the room or what" being 9pm and taking her word that nothing else was available we decided to stay, shower and leave asap 
well the shower was cold for about 10 minutes and the hot water was limited to two 10 min showers, the room smelt like an old museum, they had some odd bag hanging off the mirror with some kind of herbs or something that stunk. 
to make it worse the next morning looking for coffee as we got no coffee in the room, we came across a 24 hour time hortons, so the front desk lady failed to mention that. she also failed to mention that there was a pizza place open until 11pm, and who informed us was the tim hortons worker 
being a front desk worker means, you should know your town to properly advise guests on situations like EATING. also her rude attitude was disgusting 
to be honest, this hotel is dumpy, smelly so being rude and unprofessional doesnt add to your non-exisiting charm 
NEVER AGAIN and we pass through here about 5 times a year for horse shows. 
the motel 6 on the highway looks alot better. so that's our next try.

service and online information just terrible

took 5 minutes to get any hot water in the shower, the soap and shampoo have to be as cheap as can be. way overpriced for what you get. the bed was ok. the fan in the bathroom was as quiet as your local airport

last stay

We had stayed at the Inn in the past but this time our room was not up to par; nor was the Inn. There is more competition with lodgings in Moosomin so you would think this would motivate the owners to care. In it's day it was obviously an Inn that was impressive; not any more....so sad, what a waste. Regretfully, next time I will skip the Inn, leaky showers and tired surroundings doesn't make for an enjoyable stay.

Disappointed

Price is what brought us here. The newer hotels cost substantially more, and we just needed a place for the night, late check in, early departure. We crossed our fingers and hoped it wouldn't be a disaster. It wasn't. Clean room, decent beds. Yes, it's an older property but there's signs the owner is investing in it: new carpets throughout, new door trim, new toilet (wall behind hasn't been repainted so old toilet outline can be seen). Scuff marks on room and common doors are unfortunate. The hotel layout is U-shaped, with the front desk, restaurant, and bar connected to one end. Each hall has an entrance/exit door direct to outside. One of them has a missing deadbolt so there's just a hole to the outside letting in the cold winter air. None of them are locked so it's not the most secure place. Front desk area is locked overnight so it's just the hall exits available. Front desk pointed out he was giving us a room away from the bar. Yes, we could occasionally hear a heavy beat but nothing disturbing. Seems to be a family run place, quite a pleasant bunch. Breakfast menu is pretty limited and they do a decent job. Lots of locals showed up for breakfast so that's always a good sign. We got what we wanted: a decent night stay at $80-90 less than the other options.

Decent for a night

We were looking for a reasonable rate for a short sleepstop on the journey west.  Staff was very friendly and staff were accommodating. Rooms are dated and basic, but clean and functional.  Rate was $99 when everything else in town on a busy weekend.  Good wifi.

Reasonable lodgings for a short night

Decent place to stay. Relatively clean, but not the cleanest. Spacious. I didn't try the restaurant that is located in the hotel, however, it seemed to be pretty popular (even in the morning). Wifi worked great. There is definitely lots of potential for this hotel.
