As soon as we pulled into the property there was a big dumpster in the parking lot,mattresses leaning against the outside wall and the most disturbing thing was that there were several.men and one woman that were sitting in chairs just outside their rooms and these people were not tourists. They had soiled clothes and looked like transients. I had earlier booked this rooms with hotel.com so when I asked to see the room they brought us to a room right next to these people that were sitting outside.When I walked into the room,I couldn't believe it, two beds with different color spreads that had burn holes all over. Bathroom had no toilet paper holder, I picked up a roll of toilet paper that was on a shelf and the roll was soiled. It looked as if someone was sleeping in the beds, the pillows were all compressed as well as the bed. One dirty rag for a towel. I tried my best not to vomit before we got the hell out there. We ended up staying at a nice motel that is right on the Clifton hill district named the Olympian motel. We paid a little more, but it was worth it,also the owners are very nice people.

Stay away!

I can't really comment on the service as we were too scared to leave our room. On arrival the first thing we saw was a man storm out of his room and go straight over to, I'm assuming his wife, hit her around the face then storm back into his room whilst smashing a beer bottle. Brilliant. The window on our room was mostly taped up. The beds had burn marks all over them. Fridge didn't work. TV didn't work. Had 1 towel that was as useful as a bit of toilet paper. I would have felt safer living in the streets of Baghdad. Overall though a highly pleasant place... Never stay here.
