Outside of the inn the garden is gorgeous. I had us booked to the minute so unfortunately we couldn’t sit outside and enjoy it. When entering the house they left our keys in an envelope on the door with house rules. They ask for you to leave your shoes at the front (which we didn’t mind) and that the hot tub jets be shut off by 11pm due to sound. (So if you want this for a hot night late at night scratch that off the list). 
We stayed in the Garden View room. It was nice and spacious and the bed was really comfy. We really didn’t hear any other guests until the morning when everyone would be making their way to breakfast. Breakfast is from 8:30 - 9:30am. They serve fruit, muffins, and then make you a warm meal which is different everyday. The men there that were serving us (which I believe was the hosts) were very attentive and friendly. It was nice chitchatting with the other guests too. This is a 15 minute walk from everything. If I went again I would probably stay here. 

Comfy stay

My only regret was not having more time to spend in this lovely home with lovely hosts!  We stayed only one night in the garden view room.  The instructions were clear and easy to understand. The room was perfect, felt like we were staying with family.  The room was like stepping back in time with all the beautiful antique furniture and decor. However, it also had an electric fireplace, air conditioner, flat screen tv and jetted tub!  The breakfast was absolutely delicious with fresh fruit and French toast and a couple other options.  Nothing to heavy but filling and nutritious in preparation for a day of sightseeing.  The hosts were wonderful, welcoming and so gracious!  One of the most exceptional things was the beautiful garden and grounds! It is something that has to be seen in person to appreciate, photos just don't do it justice!  So beautiful!!  You can see so much work and love has gone into making this house into an amazing home that just feels so relaxing and calm. I could go on and on but you will just have to experience it for yourself! You will not regret it!!  

Perfect Step Back In Time

We stayed here while visiting the Falls. 
When we got there we found an envelope tapes to the glass part of the inside door. We never were introduced to the hosts. We assume to two men serving breakfast?? 
Our room was in the front of the house and never had issues with noise other than from the A/C window unit. 
Breakfast was good. Served quickly and hot. Very nice. 
We did enjoy the stay it just felt weird when we were never officially welcomed. 
By the way, the gardens were very nice!


Nice but not great

From the outside it looked lovely.
Then we walked into our room.
Absolutely filthy, weeks worth of dust embedded into furniture, curtain hanging off rail, shower head hanging off, bath cladding pealing , thick dust everywhere. We spent about 10 minutes in the room and walked out !! Contacted Booking.com
straight away who agreed a full refund. Without doubt the dirtiest dust filled run down room we have ever witnessed.

Charming bed and breakfast just a 20 minute walk to the Niagara attractions. Comfortable large bed and a delicious breakfast in the cozy dining room. Separate private bathroom facilities were well appointed and clean. Would definitely recommend this treasure to all travellers to the area.

What a gem!!

On first appearance the property looked lovely, wonderful gardens. Then you are asked to remove your shoes. You go to your room which on first glance looks goods, until you then see all the dirty under the bedside tables, under the wardrobe and around the floor. The bathroom was a disgrace, no plug in sink, light switch taped up and generally dirty.
The kitchen, well it would fail all hygiene standards back in the uk. Rubbish on floor by bin, on worktops, the hob was terrible and you stuck to the floor, which was awful. The fridge nearly made me sick. 
We only stayed the one night and left very quickly in the morning, not eating breakfast or taking tea.
Shame on the owners.

We ask to put Milk in the fridge..they say yes so we Went in the kitchen it was so Dirty
And their ask us to get out ours shows to go to the dining room

Dirty!!!!

We enjoyed our stay at David and Daughty's (sp?) residence. The garden was beautiful, and we liked the jacuzzi tub in the Garden Room.  Everything that could be decorated was, and whimsical flourishes abounded. The downtown hotels by the falls felt tawdry and loud, but this B&B was close enough to walk to the downtown while being far enough to feel peaceful. Breakfast during our 2 days consisted of fruit, warm muffins, and French toast.

I don't recommend this place if you're looking to party. Also, the food by the falls is overpriced junk. We enjoyed a lovely 4-course meal at the nearby Casbah for$25.

Quiet and charming!

Get away from the midway and casinos to remember that the city of Niagara Falls is historic and beautiful.  The gardens at this property are lovely with many places to sit and enjoy them. House made breakfast is served on fine china  in the Victorian Inspired dining room.  We were especially fond of the fruit course  served in a  compote glass. Service is excellent and personal.   Our room was quiet and well appointed. Walk to the historic Cemetery and learn a bit about the battle fought there in the War of 1812.

Historical Neighborhood

A moment in time is such a charming place to stay! Beautiful house, clean, comfortable, with welcoming hosts that make your stay a breeze. Our arrival was delayed due to our day tour, but A Moment in Time made our checkin process hassle free for us to make our evening reservations. Breakfast was delicious and presented beautifully in a serene setting! Location is perfect, very close to all that you want to visit, but still a peaceful place to rest!
