The cottage is absolutely beautiful, quiet, and private. We stayed for a few days to relax and get some shopping done in the area. The cottage includes a gas fireplace, private seating area outside, a beautiful bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub, and a kitchen with everything you need to make small meals. The bed is very comfortable with a foam top, and Ivette included all the essentials. She showed me around the cottage when I arrived and asked if I needed any help getting around. She left us alone for our visit, but was available if we needed anything. We had a wonderful time and will stay again the next time we're staying in the area.

Beautiful and Private!

We had a great time staying there during our first trip to NotL. Ivette made us feel very welcome and helped us figure out how to have a great time in the area. She showed us around and it's a great house with 3 rooms, each with an en-suite bath. The interior is all beautifully designed, so it's like staying with wealthy relatives. It's super quiet, perfectly kept and very well-equipped. The back deck and garden is very nice, too; we wish it was a summer time that we could sit outside.
Our room-apartment was very large, the bathtub had jacuzzi jets, and it comes with lots of little extras- wine and water glasses on a lovely tray, a cute fireplace, a lovely country kitchen, a foam memory queen bed. Very romantic. Oh, and there's free wifi and a TV.
Breakfast was great both days. Fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee/tea/juice, a different "main" each day (loved the omelette), and something dessert-ish.
The location is good. It's bit away from main street (but close to lake), but still a nice walk there and back. We enjoyed walking the very quiet streets; even late at night, it's really fun little town to walk around in.

Great choice for a romantic getaway.

The cottage is clean, comfortable, wonderfully quiet, cozy and spacious. On their website they have 3 rooms available but during winter time they only rent the cottage/suite which comes with a kitchen, a large Jacuzzi, a lovely fireplace, a comfy queen size bed, and an ensuite bathroom with toiletries. The breakfast was made at a prearranged time so we didn't have to worry about waking up early. This was our first stay at a b&b and it was a delightful.

Excellent B&B

I would hands down recommend this B&B to anyone who wants a comfortable stay with fantastic hosts. The chamber of commerce recommended this B&B to us and I can definitely see why they came recommended.
Upon arrival we were taken right up to the Deluxe Suite where we received a bottle of wine and chocolates! The fresh flowers in the room were a lovely addition. The suite is fabulous and comfortable with a queen size bed and lots of space. They have all the amenities one could need, including your own kitchen with free bottled water in the fridge and coffee machine. We were excited from our wine tasting during the day and couldn't sleep much so we grabbed a dvd from the library they had and watched it in the comfort of our room with fireplace flames playing.. a great way to fall asleep. Walking up to the chirping of birds in the morning was refreshing. The breakfasts were very hearty! They set us up well for trips to the falls and the local wineries.
We have stayed in many B&Bs in North America and Europe and Cloverfield House is at the top of my favourites.

10+Stars Perfect Retreat

We had a pleasant and enjoyable weekend at Cloverfield House.We travelled to Niagara on the Lake for a relaxing and enjoyable week and we definitely enjoyed ourselves.The owners were very pleasant and helpful and breakfast was delicious both days we stayed. We stayed in the Suite- so beautiful from the very warm welcome by Norman to the wine, the antiques and painting it was all so sumptuous. Linens, furniture all very elegant. My wife and I usually look for a local bed and breakfast when we travel for pleasure. We look for pleasant clean places, with friendly helpful hosts and good tasting substantial breakfasts. This one fulfilled all our expectations.
