A peaceful venue, beautiful gardens.  Gracious hospitality.   And the B and B host was amazing - friendly, informative and very accommodating.  Thanks Bertha.  Delicious breakfasts.  Walking distance to the Theatre.  A cool oasis and right across from the Art Show.

Fabulous Find

Please read my review of The Charles Hotel  to understand why I ended up here. 
Wow what a fantastic place. The manager Bertha is a lovely calm empathetic intuitive lady who anticipated our every need.  
The place is a design oasis. 
Comfortable, charming and bouji without being in your face. 
4.00 O clock is wine O clock. A lovely bottle opened with sommelier notes. If we’d stayed longer would have definitely purchased some.
We arrived here because a lovely lady at the Somerset Inn ( fully booked) recommended this their sister property. So pleased she did. A huge thank you to Mary and to Darren for helping us get here. 
Gorgeous location, lovely lovely garden, beautiful inside and out and only a stone’s throw from the main drag. I really wish we’d stayed here for 2 nights. It’s $9.00 more expensive than the Charles Hotel.  Go figure. That $9.00 dollars is the difference between an Old Ford with a broken engine and a sooper BMW with the customer service thrown in  - not an added extra! 
Just book here! Don’t bother with anywhere else in Niagara on the Lake. ( perhaps Somerset Inn for its lake views)! 
Great attitude to customers  like this hotel deserves unimagined success.

A very fortunate mistake.

We recently had the great pleasure  of  staying  in Innkeeper Vicky's beautifully  and lovingly restored  and renovated 200 year old home. The rooms are lovely as are the public spaces,  The gardens with ponds and fountains  were serene and peaceful. Breakfasts were different each day and delicious.
We could see the Niagara River from our window. Conveniently located beside the Fort, a five minute walk to the Shaw Festival, and an eight minute walk to restaurants  and shopping,  We even had storage for  our  bikes. Perfect!

Perfection in Niagara on the Lake

This is a quaint B&B within 5 minutes walk of Niagara on the Lake.  Vicky made our stay comfortable and enjoyable.  Beautiful gardens on the property. The breakfast was excellent with French Toast and fruit and yogurt and omelettes.  Thank you Vicky for an amazing time away.

Exceptional

My friend and I didn't have a chance to stay at the Royal Manor but had booked 2 nights. Unfortunately, my friend's ailing mother worsened and we had to cancel the booking. The Royal Manor was very kind and understanding and we were able to cancel without fees. Thank you Royal Manor. Your kindness and understanding is much appreciated.  We can see why you receive the ratings you do!

Very Kind

We had stayed at the Royal Manor Bed & Breakfast during the long weekend in May with another couple.  Vicky was an excellent hostess who cooked amazing breakfasts for us each morning.  She would join us in conversation after we were served and made us feel right at home.  A beautiful backyard with a lovely pond stocked with fish also complimented the property.  The Royal Manor is located across the street from the Niagara River just down from the Marina.  It is a very peaceful area within an easy walking distance to downtown NOTL.  We found this very beneficial as parking was a nightmare during this busy weekend and we did not have to be bothered with it.  I highly recommend staying at this quaint B&B - you will not be disappointed!

Excellent Location

This was a delightful stay for a couple of nights. The Manor itself is  beautiful! The owners are very pleasant and hospitable. Their food was excellent!

The property is well kept, very colorful and tidy. The surrounding vineyards are incredibly nice and welcoming.

Everything was totally delicious.

Our guests from England were AMAZED! They had not expected to face  and feel...like being at home!

I highly recommend this wonderful place to stay and enjoy.

Your dream has come true

With so many options for accommodation from which to choose in NotL, let me make it easy for you. Stay here! Its location is perfect... within walking distance to theatres, shops & restaurants but away from the crowds, surrounded by lovely well maintained gardens. This antique filled home is comfortable and cozy with a welcoming and friendly owner who serves up a yummy breakfast.    Staying here is the perfect way to end the day in a charming town.

Easy choice...

Vicky is a terrific hostess.. Her beautiful historical home is very warm & cozy.. The grounds are bursting with color and very pretty..and an easy walk to Niagara on the lake. Beautiful friendly town on Lake Ontario..
The homemade breakfast was amazing and deliciously different each morning...etc crepes, French toast, fruit & pastries..I would highly recommend this B&B..


Royal Manor B&B is our favorite B&B starting with warm 'welcome back' from owner, Vicky Downes. I can't use enough adjectives to describe the warmth and feeling of being back home every time we stay at Royal Manor. Plus, breakfast is so delectable!!! Take time to walk around the gardens, flowers, pond, stream, bird feeders and more.
