The Loyalist Bed and Breakfast is ideal for a quiet retreat, with a gracious host who genuinely wants her guests to have the best possible visit.  Patricia ensured that there was farm-fresh fruits (I am missing those grapes!) and locally made jams served with breakfast.  The walk into town was not difficult, and with all of the fantastic bakeries in the town, you can feel justified in indulging a little more than usual if you choose to cycle or walk around town.

A perfect get-away

I was in NOTL for 2 nights with my wife and my parents. This B&B is located in a quiet area but still walking distance from the main street.
This place is an excellent value! Most of the places are much more expensive in NOTL.
Best thing was the breakfast! Especially on Sunday it was a feast: pancakes, eggs, streaky bacon, fruit, amazing butter tarts etc..

Nice stay!

B&B located in a very pleasant and quiet residential area. House furnished with great taste and attention to detail, the ns. room with annexed bathroom was spacious, clean and with a super comfortable bed. Unfortunately the glass door (which overlooked the hallway) did not guarantee any privacy.

Niagara on the Lake

Great stay, clean room. Will book again. Loved that we could walk back from the brewery/wineries. Had a great time in NOTL. I think it's our new anniversary tradition. Breakfast was wonderful. Quiet area.

Exactly what we needed!

We had a wedding at a nearby inn for the weekend and booked a room at A Happy place for the Saturday night.  

The property is located in a really nice and quiet residential neighbourhood.  It is a very well maintained and clean property that was recently renovated.  The backyard is large and private.

We had the front room with the private bathroom.  It is separate from the other two bedrooms which are located in the back of the home which was nice for privacy.  The room was large, bright and clean.  There are no TVs but free wifi so we brought our own devices.  

We met the property owner and the property manager (who lives on site in a separate wing) and both were gracious, hospital and helpful.  The owner even drove me to meet up with my friends who were staying at another B&B on my way to the wedding.

Breakfast was obviously included and was delicious with a variety of items and huge servings.

Would highly recommend a stay here

This past weekend we spent a most delightful visit at A Happy Place. It was a surprise get together with my girls to celebrate my daughter’s pregnancy with her first baby. We shared great food, great wine and great company at A Happy Place. Nothing was too much trouble for our host Leon, who met us and gave us a tour of his lovely home. It’s spacious, clean and eclectically decorated with antiquities, interesting books and artwork. We found lots of amenities – cozy beds in spacious bedrooms; lots of towels; big cozy chairs for relaxing, chatting and playing games....a home away from home. In the morning we were greeted with a wonderful breakfast table laden with fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, assorted breads, tea, coffee and juice. Leon’s charm and stories make this a truly memorable place to visit, take off your shoes and relax.

Home away from home

It's a quiet place, a quiet neighborhood and close to everything. Always available but discreet hotel. It's full of history with the furnishings, the decor and the host himself. Breakfast is plenty, offering a wide variety of meals. The possibility of eating on site (BBQ and terrace). You can hang out at home and enjoy the backyard for sunbathing and reading. I highly recommend.

Bicycle + Vignoble

Nice, welcoming, comfortable, easy to access. The boss also has a sense of humor which doesn't spoil anything. He's antique and has a Mirandole Peak-type culture. So it's a hostel with added value, but no added extras...

Very nice accommodation and very good location, superb area and so close to Niagara Falls!

A warm welcome. You feel at home. The host is both present and discreet. The house itself is to be discovered. Collection of antiques. Welcome to the musicians: lots of instruments are available; fresh, varied, abundant continental lunch. Nearby: Niagara vineyard and waterfall area. Magnificent
