We stayed here on the first night of the P'tit Train du Nord bike trail, and wished we had another night to spend.  This is a beautiful location, on a lovely, tranquil lake.  The motel is simple but pride of ownership is very evident and there are plenty of lovely touches that make it more than an ordinary motel.  The owners are very helpful, and the rooms offer a small fridge/freezer, comfortable beds, extra towels for the lake, a back patio for looking out at the lake, and a quiet sleep.  Very accommodating for cyclists and families. We hope to come back here to have a longer stay on this beautiful lake.

A tranquil gem

perfect location on our bike trip on the way to Mont-Laurier.
the owners are people you would want to invite home for dinner - sooo nice!
rooms were in great condition, comfortable beds, all was clean and all in perfect working order.
the grounds are beautiful and on a small and wonderful lake with access to swimming just meters from our bedroom door.

a perfect stay!

We stayed here the first night of our Petite du Nord trip, and what a wonderful place it is.  The setting is beautiful and our room large, clean and nicely furnished.  Although we arrived early, Marco greeted us warmly and before we knew it we were settled in and enjoying  nice hot showers, the drinks from the fridge and the view of the lake.  We opted not to take the meal package but went to the local store for wine and snacks and then had a light dinner at the local restaurant.  The setting is very relaxing and quiet.  Bikes were securely stored in a garage and the location of the motel is very easy to access from the bike trail.  Can't wait to return someday!

Lovely stop while biking the Petite du Nord

This place is perfect for any type of outing; couples, family,business or friends. The lac there and the availability of canoes make it even more magical. Not to mention the adorable staff that will make sure you are enjoying your time and would refer you to the best places in the area!!!

Perfect place to discover a magical area in the north of Québec 

Everything about this place is ''Top Shelf'. The location, room,  grounds, views, and especially the hosts. There 's a really good restaurant within walking distance and Marco let us park our motorcycles in his garage for the night. Will definitely be staying there again on my next trip to Quebec.

A Real Gem!

WOW.  To start off with Nona and Marco were absolutely terrific!  They were so warm and welcoming.  Our room was ready early so we could get settled before we continued on our bike ride.  We had a very large group and the so wonderfully accommodated us ALL.  The place is just beautiful... a slice of heaven.  They allowed our group to have a BIG BBQ on the property using their gas grill and charcoal grill.  They set up tables for us and offered their fridge to keep our food.  They helped us in every way possible.  We loved meeting them and socializing with them.  The room were extremely well kept, clean and well equipped.  Nona was so helpful.  She even took us to the Alpaga farm and store.  Our group took advantage of the kayaks, the Adirondack chairs, the lake and the view.  We felt like family with Marco and Nona and we hope to return to visit them soon.  Many thanks for an awesome stay with you.

Gorgeous Lake front property near the bike trail with AWESOME hosts!!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Motel Ours Bleu during our biking trip on the “Petit Train du Nord” linear park. Our stay at this motel was certainly one of the highlights of our trip. We loved everything about it! Nona and Marco were gracious and welcoming, truly wonderful hosts. The rooms have gorgeous lake views, are extremely convenient, spotless clean, and thoughtfully designed. Kayaks and pedal boats were available for the guests and we greatly enjoyed kayaking around the island. We will certainly come back, next time for the sole purpose of staying at this beautiful serene place. We highly recommend Motel Ours Bleu!
