Nice budget friendly hotel. Super strong WiFi. Owner was nice. Very quiet.Good coffee. Bfast is cereals, toast, apples & bananas. NO ice machine.

Great, budget hotel

I stayed at the Country Inn with a group of 12 people for a golf weekend recently. The owner JJ was a fantastic host, and the rooms were great. It really exceeded my expectations. JJ bent over backwards to accommodate us and our preferred setup for a group stay. Highly recommend the Didsbury Country Inn.

Great place to stay for a group golf weekend

I recently stayed here with my ekderly mother, and we were made very comfortable by the friendly owner. He had helpful driving advice for the exploring we were planning in the area, and he kindly provided an accessible ground floor room on my request to avoid stairs for my mom's sake. Our room was spotlessly clean, had a spacious bethroom, and comfortable bed. We would highly recommend this property!!

Very comfortable and pleasant!

The Didsbury Country Inn - we just had a four night stay so got a good taste of this Inn. It was perfect!  Others have mentioned the train- didn’t bother us one bit. The whole Inn is Absolutely Spotless.   Our room was tidied up daily by someone who takes pride in their job. 
   Breakfast of yoghurt, fruit, bread to toast and muffins- was fresh put out each morning and coffee continuously hot and fresh. 
   A/C and Heat both worked excellent. Yes we had cause to use both in July in Alberta!!!   Lots of hot water to warm up with after a day outside!  
     The owners/ and staff could not have been more accommodating and friendly. 
   There is not one reason to give this Inn less than five stars!  It’s not a boutique but it was Perfect for the likes of us!  

Five stars for many reasons 

If you're looking for the Ritz Carlton, this isn't it.  If you're looking for nice inexpensive accommodation in this small town, then this is for you.  Nice clean room, comfortable bed, good A/C, simple breakfast, good Wi-Fi,  and friendly staff.  Highly recommended for your visit to Didsbury.

Great value for the price!

Stayed at the Didsbury country inn on an overnight visit , for a small town we found this to be a very comfortable clean , great location motel . Newly renovated spacious room with all amenities , very quiet . No smoking rooms , but at one time they were . Staff was very accommodating. Subway in building , and 3 other eating establishments very close . Historic Main Street just a block away . Community centre and curling rink just behind the building .
Toast bar with coffee and juice was included in the price . Basic but clean and everything that a person needs for a stopover . 
Don’t miss the small town experience , stay at the Didsbury country inn . 

Clean comfortable affordable

Needed a place to stay while heading to Calgary. The price was good rooms clean. Very comfortable beds and bedding. Ww arrived a little later and they were very nice to deal with. We will be back again !!! 

Great little Inn

Great Very Clean and Quiet Hotel for a small town, very friendly people. Coffee was good too and the breakfast wasn’t real fancy but it was fresh, clean and well organized. Highly recommend if staying in Didsbury, walking distance if you feel like shopping the town.  Very close to the pool and arena.

Great Hotel for a small town 

This Motel has staff that are very friendly and helpful.  They work hard  to give you  good experience however there are items in the room that are just old.  The room was clean and the bedding was fine.  The air conditioning unit did not work well.  Our visit to this motel was due to a mechanical problem in with our vehicle.

Clean, friendly older motel

I HATE to leave bad reviews on places. But I really did not enjoy my stay here at all. I booked through booking.com which may have been my mistake. The room smelled damp and stale the whole stay, even with open window and AC on. The room was supposed to come with a microwave and didn't. The fridge wasn't plugged in when we arrived either. The cable tv was disappointing and often had channels that said authentication error. The bed was hard and not comfortable for my boyfriend and I. The water pressure in the shower was lackluster and uneven.

My boyfriend wanted to leave but there was no where else open for visitors because of a wedding near town (which we were also in). Honestly, after talking to people who grew up in the area, they pitied us for staying at this hotel - apparently the locals know about this hotel too.

Head my warning, maybe it was because I booked online through a third party website, but I did not enjoy this hotel. Nonetheless, I suppose it was it was a place to rest my head and that's what matters.

The owner/front desk was kind though!
