We only stayed one night in a 1-bedroom junior suite..   It had a nice bedroom, a fridge, a stove and a microwave.  The room was a bit dated and the floor was dirty (everything else seemed OK).  There was a nice beach, although we did not go swimming.

Adequate room; nice beach

Absolutely great stay! We come to Osoyoos at least once a year and the Desert Surfside has become our favourite spot. You can’t beat the location and beach. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will for sure be back to enjoy a afternoon glass of wine on the patio at our next stay. Hands down the best value for your stay in Osoyoos. Check it out you won’t be disappointed!

Favourite  spot in town

This hotel was a great choice for our visit to Osoyoos. We had a junior suite with kitchen & separate bedroom. Lots of space for two. The water is shallow (waist high on an adult male) & is perfect for kids. The beach is sandy, with very few rocks, & has trees for shade. Lounge chairs are provided & there is a terrace with BBQs, tables & chairs just above the beach. Parking can be a bit tight & an air conditioner in the bedroom would have been nice, but there is a ceiling fan as well as a portable electric fan so it was bearable. We were in Osoyoos for a family wedding & 3 parties from the invitees stayed at Desert Surfside. It was close to everything.  We would certainly recommend this hotel!

Wonderful beachfront!

Staff forgot to put AC on for our arrival in 40 C temperatures.  Could hear road from inside our unit but the noisy old AC unit drowned out the noise. This motel could use a major update overhaul but with the town lacking in accommodation in the summer season they get away with the old and outdated rooms. We stayed only 1 night as nothing else in Osoyoos was available.

One night stay

Loved staying here for the location and how close it was to the beach but there was a dog continuously barking out of the office my whole trip. The owners or one of the workers directly below our bed. Wasn’t awesome.

Great place

Place was dirty...both myself and husbands feet were black after walking barefoot on the floors the day we arrived!  The air conditioner was horribly noisy, so my husband took the filter out.  It was so clogged with crap we left it out as we didn't much feel like breathing in mold or anything else that might have been in there.  Bathtub was grungy, kitchen cabinet pulls were sticky.  Pictures that were sent to us showed a stove, so we brought our own food.  No stove...Overall cleaning definitely needs improving especially in these times of covid.  Obviously no sanitization being done between guests here.   Only saving grace was it was on the beach, but there are plenty of other places along the beach that are in better condition that this one.  We stayed in a unit in the motel part.

Great Beach location

Osoyoos Desert Surfside accommodations is a fantastic way to spend a vacation!  Our 4th floor waterfront view suite was spacious, clean and had all the amenities.  COVID contactless check-in & out worked great.  Social distancing was practiced.  We stayed here in 2008 & 2009 and the rooms are still well maintained.  The grounds and beach is very clean and attractive.  Best spot on Osoyoos Lake!

WOW..... What a Waterfront View!

We were passing through late last summer and were talking to a nice manager about needing a room, and were disappointed when we could not get a spot, as we were backing up to leave she came out to tell us a person with reservation was going to be 2 days late in arriving. It was a end studio with view of the lake, we were worried about traffic noise (which never was an issue) :) The room was perfect, clean and private being the end unit. The weather and water, staff and Town is so nice, we were only planning to stay 1 night, stayed the 2 and wish it was 14. We are thinking this would be an awesome romantic place to come in the Winter and ski Mount Baldy, snowshoe and cross country some years. Wish we had our Golf clubs, but 2 days wouldn't have been enough to enjoy it all

Stay in BC and enjoy Canadas Desert and warmest Lake (especially now)

We stayed here for a couple of days in September and the check-in and check-out were painless.  The room was well equipped but could use a bit of an update.  That said it was clean and the beach was right there.  The beach was decent but shadow of the building made it a bit chilly in the early hours of the afternoon.  Overall, a good stay.

Clean, Convenient and Decent Beach

My family is from osoyoos so i usually stay with them but this time it was for a memorial so all my relatives suites were “booked up.” Haha so we stayed here! The price point was great because it was March. The room was actually really awesome and had everything we needed and more. I was impressed by the full kitchen and patio with a bbq on it! All of the employees were extremely friendly and welcoming whenever we ran into them! Thanks again for a great stay
