We had an excellent stay at Parfum de Mer. Madeleine gave us a warm welcome when we arrived and provided helpful information including a good suggestion for dinner. The gite is spotlessly clean and has a comfortable common area. Our room was large and quiet with a very comfortable mattress. The breakfast was carefully prepared and very good, including delicious homemade applesauce and rhubarb compote, a special treat. The view from the house is beautiful, looking out on the water. Madeleine was very nice and friendly; it was great to be able to talk with her and learn about the area. She also makes pretty, comfortable slippers that you can use while in the gite or buy a pair to take home, as I did!

My son and I stayed at the cottage for a week in mid-November 2020. Warm home, delicious lunches, impeccable bedroom and living room, wise advice on what to do and where to go, we were really treated with little care!

It's a lovely place.

It is a very nice place, it is clean, our host was very nice, chat with us very nice lady.......the bad.......the pillow was very...flat.....and the breakfast was very poor quality.

It's quite well located, near Percé, a very welcoming and touristic city. The reception is very average, not eating out of breakfast, taking off your shoes, pressing you at the time of departure,... so much so that she forgets to give the bill after payment in kind (compulsory...). I would say very clean and even a little too much, it becomes cumbersome. A room with a proper bed, night tables, free wifi. Included breakfast is very organized but insufficient in quantity despite some homemade confections (very little bread or waffles).

It's a good gite with a very average reception.

This gite is really great and the reception is really very warm. The rooms are large. The garden and the sea view are just gorgeous, you will have access to the private beach of the gite. There is everything you need to spend a good time quietly listening to the sound of the waves. The breakfast included is complete.

It's a beautiful Gite.

We stayed in Chandler to see Nova Lumina. We had written down the address of this lodge but, given the discreetness of its signage, we had some difficulty finding it. A good landmark: It is in front of the police... The setting is very beautiful. The reception, in the person of the owner, very warm. The very varied and tasty breakfast, the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms make everything come together for a very pleasant stay. The location, by the sea, with access to a small beach and the sunset, make this experience unforgettable. Thank you, madam.

What a great discovery.

It is located by the sea, very clean, warm welcome. Small room but accommodating and well equipped. The owner welcomes us and the beach is very nice with her chairs, fireplace and wood supplied.

Small, economical room, but very surprising, decorative to the taste of the day.

My husband and I had planned a week of camping to visit the Gaspésie. I wasn't thinking of stopping at Chandler but seeing the clouds coming and our fatigue accumulating at dinner time, we decided to look for an alternative... what was our surprise when this place arrived. The lady is very hospitable and the rooms are well equipped and very clean. Full breakfast with fruit cereal toast bagel juice and especially coffee! I recommend to all couples or people alone. Ah yes! I forgot to mention the small private red sand beach in the yard, very intimate and relaxing. Also, the lady suggests restaurants according to your taste.
