Charlotte made Pavillion 2 available to us at the last minute, and it was SO much nicer than the two motels we had dropped by earlier.  The room was spacious, chic, quiet and well-equipped.  Parking was a breeze and the shower was the nicest I've ever been in!  We were a 10 second walk from the seafront (where we saw Minke whales from the Pointe de L'Islet trail) and just a few minutes from some nice restaurants.  Thank you, we will be back!

Lovely surprise!

We stayed in a 2 bedrooms house at La Merveilleuse and will recommand  to friends as everything was perfect ! The house itself, tastefully decorated, very well located, comfortable, quiet. Also a very helpful owner who helped us book a cruise and gave us great advices of where to go and what to do.

Perfect place to stay in Tadoussac

The room was spacious and exceptionally clean with an ensuite with lots of hot water. The hosts Jacques and Dominic were very welcoming and even found us a car parking space. The bay was just meters away and we were lucky enough to see seals, beluga whales and fin back whales. There are several places to eat but the Auberge is above a micro brewery so which serves pizza, charcuterie and cheese platters, so why go any further! Continental breakfast was served over looking the small harbour with views out to sea. We wish we'd booked it for longer!

Fabulous find with lovely views

We enjoyed our stay at this small hotel. The room was clean and spacious. The shared washroom was clean. The shower was very small, but OK for us. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with yogourt, a lot of fruits, and jams with little fruits from the region. The hotel is on top of a pub, bit it was not noisy. The only problem for us with this accompdation was the parking. The hotel doesn't have a parking, and we arrived on a Sunday in the middle of the afternoon, so we didn't find a spot to park on the street. We had to go to a municipal parking that asked for a $10 fee for the day. I think the problem might not occur during a week day.

I absolutely recommended this wonderful Hotel in Bangalore the best location very personable  and the rooms are outstanding clean and front office people's r very friendly the restaurant is outstanding as well very good food and they have 24 hours attention

It's official; this is my favorite place to stay in Tadoussac. Returning after a two-year absence, my husband and I settled right back in to le pavillon de jardin. It was just the two of us this time, but we still booked this unit to have our own kitchen for food prep and a sitting room. The second bedroom that a friend used last time was handy to store our luggage and gear. Staying here was the best of both worlds - an independent cottage and a lovely breakfast served every morning in the inn's dining room overlooking the bay. As before, all was sparkling clean and fully-functional. The location is walkable to all that town has to offer, so we moved our car only a few times to go on more distant excursions.  Music from local bars was not a problem; we enjoyed the sounds of joie de vivre and it was all-quiet plenty early for our tastes. Anyone disappointed in the quality of this accommodation is holding it to unrealistic standards for the location and price.  It is thoughtfully outfitted and well-cared for as are you as a guest. I hope to return many times to enjoy this wonderful area.

Great to be back in Tadoussac

This property recently changed over to a self-catering rental with four options: two small pavilions in the back, and the main house which can be rented as two bedrooms or (I think) four. We took two bedrooms in the house. Charlotte, the owner, was very responsive by email and sent clear directions for checkin and checkout. There are helpful menus and activity suggestions in the entry hall. She booked our whale cruise tickets for us, so we could pick them up on arrival in town.

The front lounge faces the harbour with wall-to-wall windows. The bedrooms are spotless, with modern decor (so modern, it took me a while to figure out how to operate the shower). We did not use the kitchen much, as there are too many great restaurants in town, but it is huge and well equipped. 

Previous parking problems have been resolved, as there are now spaces in a neighbour’s yard as well as spots for each pavilion. 

It’s definitely a bit of a climb up the front steps, and the microbrasserie on the ground floor can certainly be heard in the evenings as others mention. But it was very convenient to the beach and docks, and a short walk to lovely restaurants and boutiques.

Great location; clean and modern; to be clear, not a B&B any more but self-catering

We just stayed one night...the room was spacious and spotless with a nice bathroom.  Right on the bay - don't miss the gorgeous walk you can take on the boardwalk along the fjord. Located on top of a pub so with the windows open there was a bit of noise. You have to find your own parking and there may be none available close by. Breakfast was good but I did not care for the main raisin bread served. Overall good stay.

Fjord Room

Spent a wonderful 2 nights at Auberge La Merveilleuse with my husband. 
The location of the Auberge is great! It is across from the beach, and a short walk from the marina for the whale watching tours, and down the street from the Marine Mammal Interpretation Centre. Tadoussac is quite small, so it is walking distance everywhere. 
Parking is a bit of an issue. There is none. If you can't get a space on the street, there is a parking lot at the Interpretation Centre (not sure if you have to pay for it).
The Auberge itself is upstairs from the Tadoussac Micro Brewery. We did not hear any noise, or have any smell of beers. 
We booked into the Canada Room, which was well appointed with a very comfy bed. Only downfall to this room is it is a shared bath across the hall. 
Breakfast was amazing! Homemade yogurt, toast, crepes. So yummy!
Severine was a gem! She helped us with booking the whale watching and making recommendations for some amazing meals.
This will be the only place we stay in Tadoussac!

Perfect Auberge!

My wife and I stayed here in August 2018.

There was no on there when we arrived in the afternoon but we were given instructions on how to get our key and enter the building and our room. We were not told anything about the parking situation - there is none! If you're lucky, which we were, you can get a free spot on the street alongside the auberge. Otherwise you'll need to park down the street at the maritime museum.

We were surprised to discover that the auberge is actually on the second floor over a brasserie. We immediately thought it would be super noisy at night. Luckily, however, it was very quiet.

The auberge and our room (Fjord) were clean and modern and comfortable. The room was quite spacious with a pull out couch (which we didn't need) in addition to the bed. 

Breakfast was served in a large airy room overlooking the bay. The french toast was delicious. Yogurt, fruit, juice, and coffee were also provided.
