This property recently changed over to a self-catering rental with four options: two small pavilions in the back, and the main house which can be rented as two bedrooms or (I think) four. We took two bedrooms in the house. Charlotte, the owner, was very responsive by email and sent clear directions for checkin and checkout. There are helpful menus and activity suggestions in the entry hall. She booked our whale cruise tickets for us, so we could pick them up on arrival in town.

The front lounge faces the harbour with wall-to-wall windows. The bedrooms are spotless, with modern decor (so modern, it took me a while to figure out how to operate the shower). We did not use the kitchen much, as there are too many great restaurants in town, but it is huge and well equipped. 

Previous parking problems have been resolved, as there are now spaces in a neighbour’s yard as well as spots for each pavilion. 

It’s definitely a bit of a climb up the front steps, and the microbrasserie on the ground floor can certainly be heard in the evenings as others mention. But it was very convenient to the beach and docks, and a short walk to lovely restaurants and boutiques.

Great location; clean and modern; to be clear, not a B&B any more but self-catering

Charlotte made Pavillion 2 available to us at the last minute, and it was SO much nicer than the two motels we had dropped by earlier.  The room was spacious, chic, quiet and well-equipped.  Parking was a breeze and the shower was the nicest I've ever been in!  We were a 10 second walk from the seafront (where we saw Minke whales from the Pointe de L'Islet trail) and just a few minutes from some nice restaurants.  Thank you, we will be back!

Lovely surprise!

We stayed in a 2 bedrooms house at La Merveilleuse and will recommand  to friends as everything was perfect ! The house itself, tastefully decorated, very well located, comfortable, quiet. Also a very helpful owner who helped us book a cruise and gave us great advices of where to go and what to do.

Perfect place to stay in Tadoussac

This auberge is a great location 5/5 but there are some issues....

The price point was very dear especially when we had mediocre accommodations. 
We stayed in the sudio: no wifi as advertised, our hot water bathroom tap didn't work DURING the COVID pandemic which is unacceptable and we had to dispute getting a fre breakfast served to us even though it was advertised. 

The location is also nestled between a pub and a brewery. 
I heard the clanking of a patio umbrella all night long.

There is a lack of accommodations in Tadoussac so it is slim pickings.

Excellent location

We stayed two nights. The place is on the upper level and not suited for people that cannot take stairs. No parking at the facilities and we add to park on the street.

Our room was well renovated but very tiny for a couple with a child.

It is very well located just in front of the bay. The host were very nice with us.

The breakfast was a bit deceiving as it was from my point of view limited. No eggs, no meat. Toast, waffles, jam and some fruits.

I found the place overpriced for what we had.

Well located, small and expensive

We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights total of $800!
Other than location, this was the worst Booking I have ever encountered. Everything was Covid excuse.
No breakfast, same price as last year? During our trip, Other b&b,s  offered breakfast boxes.
No toiletries at all
Rooms were tiny
No chairs in the room
I had to ask for a glass for the bathroom
Walls were thin, you could hear the neighbours talking, walking and sneezing.
There is a restaurant , bar downstairs, playing music which we could hear
I asked for a printed copy of my invoice, but the printer didn’t work, sent the receipt to the wrong address.
Unfriendly service
But bathrooms were ok.
Check out the other places in town, I’m sure you will get more for your money.

Not worth $200 per night

We stayed overnight in the Fjord room . The location was great, but unfortunately it didn’t quite meet our expectation as a 3stars lodge when we paid over $200/night. The room was kinda clean but not spotless. There was no toiletries provided in the room. We were only given a couple of shampoo packets upon request. It was hot in the room during summer , there was a AC remote control, but the AC unit was no where to be found in the room. This place is not recommended for family and light sleeper because it was noisy at night due to the bar+restaurant under the hotel and people loitering on the street.

Not great +certainly overpriced

The room was spacious and exceptionally clean with an ensuite with lots of hot water. The hosts Jacques and Dominic were very welcoming and even found us a car parking space. The bay was just meters away and we were lucky enough to see seals, beluga whales and fin back whales. There are several places to eat but the Auberge is above a micro brewery so which serves pizza, charcuterie and cheese platters, so why go any further! Continental breakfast was served over looking the small harbour with views out to sea. We wish we'd booked it for longer!

Fabulous find with lovely views

This accommodation is located near a boutique brewery, several restaurants, the jetty and an interesting walk around the point. The room was clean and had everything we needed for a one night stay. 

Parking is difficult and you need to be lucky to get a free park anywhere nearby. You won’t be able to get access to your room until 4 PM.

The breakfast was tasty but consisted of a small yoghurt and a waffle with fruit which left me looking for more to eat. Strangely, there waste butter and conserves on the table but no bread or croissants to use them with.

Well located but overpriced

We just stayed one night...the room was spacious and spotless with a nice bathroom.  Right on the bay - don't miss the gorgeous walk you can take on the boardwalk along the fjord. Located on top of a pub so with the windows open there was a bit of noise. You have to find your own parking and there may be none available close by. Breakfast was good but I did not care for the main raisin bread served. Overall good stay.
