The house is nice and clean, good for Johanne, good for breakfast, the village is so nice, I'll have to stay longer to enjoy it.

A perfect stop is far too short

A beautiful accommodation in a stunning setting. The host was nice and helpful. Great breakfast and a cozy rooms. We stayed (unfortunately) only for one night but if you are in the region it’s a place to be recommended. The village Saint Rose is also nice so it’s a nice stopover at the Sangenuy Fjord.

Nice and cozy

Johanne was very well received in this cottage which recalls the ancestral history of the house and enjoys an incredible view of the fjord. The room, large and with a private bathroom, is very welcoming, always in a spirit of homage to past generations.

Saint Rose du Nord is rightly named "the Pearl of the Fjord". This B&B, a well-kept ancestral home, was for us a pearl in that Pearl. First, the location is great: only an hour-drive from/to Tadoussac and at proximity to the Sainte-Marguerite entry point to the Saguenay Fjords National Park (Beluga Observatory). The gite is also steps away from the magnificent Fjord for a nice walk and/or from the Wharf (Le Quai) for an unforgettable Fjord Cruise - possible under COVID only aboard La Marjolaine. 
Second, the ambiance is pleasant: the air is particularly pure, rooms are clean, spacious and decorated with taste. Johanne is a natural hostess, warm and present. She gave us local tips on places to visit. Breakfast was delicious and versatile (the eggs for the omelette from the nearby family-owned farm). I highly recommend this place. 
Note: access to rooms may be problematic with mobility issues.

A Pearl in the Pearl of the Fjord

It is an ancient house with cracking wooden floors, with a shared bathroom in a beautiful place on the fjord! The cleanliness of the place is impeccable, the rooms are well equipped and beautifully decorated, the breakfast is complete and varied, in short it is the life of a castle with charm and a smile on top!

Charming reception at the fjord

We thank this warm couple again for their hospitality and friendliness. We had a pleasant time in this outdated and authentic house. Despite the absence of television, we had a really pleasant time in the dorms.

A weekend at Mommy's is a real joy.

An extraordinary host, real people, genuine, I really enjoyed my visit. Relax and take a walk on the pier. Take the time to stop at the inn. The garden is huge, a beautiful gallery that goes around the residence.

It's a nice place.

We stayed two nights in the garden cottage. A very good but not exceptional lunch, welcoming and warm guests, clean room with very old wooden furniture, flawless bathroom. Only bemool: very noisy because it's a very old house. Ultimately, a very charming cottage with character, which we recommend for those who are not uncomfortable with noise.

It's a beautiful step.

Do you like nature? Do you want to rest and wake up listening to the birds and the waterfront? This is the place for you! What organic, homemade breakfast, cordiality and simplicity for this very clean and well-equipped place! >The internet wasn't working very well in the room, but it didn't matter :)

Sainte Rose is a must see when going to the Sagenay Fjord.
This B&B is so genuine with a lot of souvenir from his early XX century family history
Joanne is a great host and her Breakfast is great, with a view on the Fjord.
