The host was sneaky as he commucated with us first for comments after we checked out. When he knew it's not so well, he didn't give us the chance to post comments right on our booking platform Vrbo. Steve Pargov Property # 1318174vb

The location is surrounded by beautiful nature but kind of middle of nowhere. At least 25 minutes drive to anywhere in the mountain or any store.
We were very disappointed for the stay. Reasons are:
1. Only one very tiny shower place for the group of six and the advertising is misleading. The shower curtain was sticky and not clean.
2. The kettle is very dirty and we spent lots of time to clean the scale before using it. Some cups are broken that I never seen in other places.
3. The beddings are cheap quality almost unbreathable.
4. The kitchen and living room are not clean enough. Furniture should totally retired long time ago.

For paying almost $700 per night, we expected much better experience honestly. Maybe other cabin in the same location worth the money.

Being satisfied or not maybe really depends which cabin you stayed

July 2021. The Chalets we rented via AirBnB was well worth our time. For 2 X nights, it was a tad expensive. Approx $900.00 for 4 of us. As we came from another province (AB), we found the drive to the chalet mystifying, gorgeous, beautiful, OH, and long LOL. Prior to leaving we were emailed the code to enter the chalet. Once we arrived, we entered the code (no issues) and when we walked in we were pleasantly surprised. On the kitchen counter there was a laminated paper with all the pertinent information and contacts, if necessary. This chalet could sleep 9 if you used the couch and the folded padded mattress from one of the rooms. It has 2 bathrooms (1 upstairs and one off the kitchen). The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to prepare food. There are some stuff that was left over from previous clients (coffee and filters) but not much else; so bring what you need or buy it locally in Golden, BC. (not cheap). NOTE; our chalet had NO A/C....but just keep the doors closed and the blinds closed on the windows. The stove was electric. The toaster worked fine. The coffee maker was a basic model but it made great coffee. There was plenty of parking. 
There was a fire ban on during our stay (that sucked), but it was understandable. The front porch offered plenty of seating and a place to play cards/board games (which we did each evening). 
We spent a lot of time just relaxing, playing games and also exploring Golden, BC as well a visit to the Kicking Horse Resort.
Summary: Well worth looking into this option. Again, not cheap, but I would recommend a stay at these chalets.

Great place to escape with family and/or friends

The chalets are, for rental properties, vast; actually a lwooden house. 
Big living area, amazingly warm, well equipped. Sleeps 6 with ease, two bathrooms, so for two people, there is plenty of space at a really good price. It is one of 18 or so, all the same. Solidly constructed. There is nothing around apart from Golden, 25mins away, or Lake Louise, about 35 mins, so bring in all the food etc you need.
Re directions. My gps worked perfectly to find our way here. Importantly, WiFi is a serious issue. These days, it is as crucial as electricity. If you run a business based on internet booking, wifi is available in the area, so the accommodation should have the same access.
Check in was fine. I was told to use a lockbox, but the key was in the door. It is a small site, and I think the management could have called in to the Chalet on arrival day to make sure all was OK. The onus for the client to find the manager is the wrong way around. All a bit unsatisfactory and shows a lack of what's needed in the hospitality business; it's not Airbnb.
Ignore any comments about cleanliness. It was really good.
I loved our stay here and recommend it highly, for a memorable experience.

Memorable, and good value. Internet needs addressing

If you are looking for a place to stay near the Icefields Parkway or Lake Louise area, do NOT stay here. It is hard to tell distances on a map when you have never been to a place, so we thought this would be a convenient choice to drive back and forth to Lake Louise and the southern part of the Icefield Parkway area. Wrong! It is many miles and with road construction all along the route. 

And the place is advertised as having wifi, but in fact the only place you can get wifi with any regularity at all is in the parking lot! Not exactly convenient, and other guests were all having the same problem. My brother had to turn his phone into a hot spot to get any internet connection at all in his cabin. And cell service is very hit and miss, most calls do not go thru, so if you are traveling with others who you have to communicate with that are not staying with you, make plans other than phone or internet to communicate.

To top if off, the people taking reservations confused mine with my brother's and had us both in the same cabin. Once they figured that out the first night, 2 days later they told him he had to move out because they had not reserved him for another night, for which he had already paid! His family had to scramble to find another place way up near Jasper so they would not be sleeping in their car. Unbelievable. This is the same place as the Chancellor Peak Chalets, half of the cabins are rented out under that name and the others are rented under Kicking Horse River Chalets.

My advice is to look for another place to stay. This is out in the sticks away from everything else, no wifi or cell  service, confused reservation people and on a long road full of construction stops. Definitely not worth the price you pay!!

Beware of distance, no wifi or cell service & wrong reservation info!

This chalet is located just outside of Yoho national park entrance, but nice location near river and camping sites (and water rafting site).  It is a short drive from Fields, Emerald lakes, and a bunch of nice hiking places.  We are a part of 4, and my kids loved this chalet mainly because it is big wooden chalet just for our family.  definitely big for 4, and even good enough for 6.  The cabin itself is kinda old and out dated, but comfortable enough.  There was a loud fan running under crawl space.  it was too noise at night for us to sleep.  

good: location, size of the cabin (4 beds, good enough for 6 people), well equipped kitchen, helpful host (who lives on site), nice camp fire ($8 to purchase a bundle of wood)

bad: small shower booth, cleanness of the cabin, cable not working but internet was pretty fast (Chalet #2).

It's true these log cabins could certainly do with a make-over but ours was clean, spacious and comfortable. There was a large fridge and cooker and super-huge gas BBQ on the large private porch. The cabins are located off the beaten track (but still very handy to Golden 10kms away) and beside the stunning Kicking Horse river and Chancellor's Peak mountain, with the beautiful Wapta waterfall an easy drive. There was a TV and gas fire which we appreciated as the nights got cold (and great for sleeping). We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend provided you're not looking for premium accommodation in this type of setting.

Stunning wilderness location! Dated but comfortable cabin.

Window cranks still broken, rusted out BBQ (but did replace grill when complained) no wifi indoors, told the logs were to thick. Broken crappy blinds on front door (when raised they fall apart) It was clean, but very dusty.  The units are a little crammed on the land so our view was the other cabins with some mountains in the background. Also I would think for these prices there could be a flat screen tv and maybe a DVD player for those rainy days
